On Instacart They advertised $3.49 for 50lbs of pork ribs. Now I understand about typos, but you don't have a typo for three months! Then they wouldn't honor it. Mistakes are one thing lost leader, and false advertising is a different bag of worms. Acknowledging that you made a mistake, honoring your mistake, and then changing the ad immediately after would be a good idea. Refusing to honor it is a very bad idea after it's been running for three months and it's not legal. Shame on grocery outlet. read more

We love Grocery Outlet. We always find some bargains here. Good selection of dairy free and gluten free items. The avocados we purchased were perfect... every single one in the package was good! After living here for a year now, and shopping here quite frequently I am upping my review to 5 stars. This place really has me hooked! Not everything is a spectacular deal, but if you are careful and shop smartly you can easily leave with a cart full of amazing deals for around $50 bucks. That to me is what keeps me coming back again and again! This place will definitely stay in my rotation as long as they stay great!! They have an enormous amount of fun specialty things you will not find anywhere else. I was in the store fulfilling an online order. I'm very patient about the bagging procedure. however, the order was coming up short one bag for tge eggs, so I asked if I could have one more bag ( this order was going to be placed on the ground per customer preference). the clerk had already rung up and made a big stinking deal about the bags costing 10 cents. I offered to pay for the bag, but the worker refused; it was more impoctant to drive home that THE BAGS COST TEN CENTS. I love their Asian steamed buns and their already made salads and inside the bag are nuts, dressing, etc and they have Mexican salad's, etc that can feed a family of 5 for 5 bucks. I'm a long time fan of Grocery Outlet. Some of these are clearly run well with pride of ownership and great prices. Others not run so well and that is passed through to the customers in employee attitudes. Having just moved to Grants Pass, of course I had to look at this store and what a great surprise! This store is super clean, with wide aisles and good prices. The employees obviously like working here, because they are some of the nicest folks I've encountered. I'd give this store five stars, except for the limited variety of items they carry. Definitely on my list for grocery shopping in the future. read more

This grocery outlet is a step above most. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, they often have organic veggies and vegan options. They keep enough lines open so you usually have a short checkout wait. The prices are great especially for specialty items. They require masks however don't always enforce it. I realize that is difficult but no different than someone coming in barefoot. Just don't let them in. Sometimes there are noses hanging over customer's masks. The staff is very good about wearing them and social distancing. I haven't noticed them cleaning after each customer but that's uncommon in this area. I go there first the either Fred Meyer's or Safeway. read more

Decent. I've been shopping at Grocery Outlet on and off my entire life. My family would go to a location that was one of the original Rainbow Foods stores frequently when I was young. (80's) I've probably been to 15 or 20 different locations over the years. They all seem to be basically the same as far as I can tell, closeout products. But more recently they are carrying non closeout staples like fresh fruit, cheese and frozen food. Unfortunately I was very spoiled by the previous location I shopped at for several years. (Roseville square in California) That particular location had a ton of organic, gmo free and super-healthy snacks and food, all the time. I had a never ending supply of healthy snacks and dry food. Some great frozen choices too. This location just doesn't have what I'm used to buying. I've been in 5 or 6 times since I moved to the area and while I've found a few good things here and there, there's just not that much here for me. Also, a lot of the prices seem about the same as at other grocery stores. I've come to expect more of a deal from this store. I really do love Grocery Outlet, I just wish this location had more of what I'm used to. Before moving here I would probably spend about $100 a month at Grocery Outlet, now it's maybe $10 or $20. I guess you have to play to your audience. It would be great if the store carried more of these items. I will still come in every once in a while to see what's new but unfortunately it's not my staple stop like it used to be. read more

Of course, they don't have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it - it may not be there next time you come. The Grants Pass Grocery Outlet is one of the better ones. It's in a good size building near the south freeway interchange. I often find items here that I don't find in other Grocery Outlets. Lately I've noticed a large assortment of specialty chocolate bars there, at ridiculously-low prices. Eat yourself sick ! There's a good assortment of foods in the coolers and freezers. Lots of organic or natural foods. Lots of different wines - the beer selection isn't real varied but that's pretty standard with this chain. There's a small fresh meat section, but a big variety of lunchmeats and such. Often they have the vegetarian meats. There's a big variety of dry cereals, canned goods, etc. Also toiletries, household equipment, cookingware, and pet food. The dairy case has soy milk as well as juices and cow milk. Fred Meyer's and Albertson's are just down the street. Better to shop here first, and just buy what you can't find here down there at 2-3 times the price. read more

Most prices are very reasonable. However who taught some of these checkers to properly bag groceries. When I get to the counter I always place my items in proper order. Yesterday on 1/21/17 I placed six cans of dg food together. Then a couple of vegetables, a bottle of mouthwash and some meat. The checker bagged the groceries in three bags as follows Bag 1. Two cans of dog food and veggies. Bag 2. Two cans of dog food a package of hamburger and a cucumber. Bag 3. Two cans of dog food I bottle of mouthwash! Remember all of these items were placed in proper order by me! Please management how about teaching your employees a little common sense! If you find something you like buy it up because it may not be there next time you come in. As others have stated, they often times have great prices........what you have to watch out for are expiration dates, many of the really good deals are due to the product being right near it's expiration date, so you need to be watchful. I appreciate most Grocery Outlets I have been to. They offer a wonderful service to their community. However, this particular store branch has terrible customer service and is not an honest business. Several times their register rings up their products for prices higher than what they have them marked for on the shelves. Their customer service is non-existent from my experience. I have asked each time for a price check, and no one bothers to find the item and it's correct price and the cashier just tells me I am wrong. I have had to walk their employees over to the item on the shelf myself and show them THEY are the ones who are ringing up the prices wrong. They need to update their prices on their registers to match the advertised price. How many customers aren't watching the screen due to some distraction and are unaware they've been OVERCHARGED? I will no longer be giving my business to this store, they have proven to be greatly disappointing compared to the rest. read more
