I return bottles here at the check stand for a refund on my bill. I forgot to count them which I usually do. My focus was on the amount of bottles and yes without thinking I emptied the bag of them on the top moving converyorbelt. Opps there was some water and a bit of lemonade fell on to it. It was a mistake on my part and I apologized . The checker excuse the Spelling Kamaia launched into "look what you did! there is liquid all over my area." She was so mad as if I killed her puppy her reaction was mean, nasty and cruel emotionally over the top putting me down. " I have seen you take bottles to the customer service area." I said sometimes the checkers put them behind in her station and some times they ask me to put them on the floor over there. So Kamalia called over Brandy a manager who was also sooo rude. She took the bottles and shouted "oh this lemonade bottle stinks" and accused me of holding back the Line. THEY DID NOT PUT OUT A FIRE THEY HUMILIATED ME AND FANNED THE FLAME. In my opinion Kamila should have instantly taken out the paper towels and disinfectant spray and clean the water up in fact I offered too. I am 73 Years old I am not perfect. Then Brandy came back and said "look YOU are causing all these people to wait so move on." I thought not spoke really don't tell me how to feel and what to do. It was a demeaning tone. Ya know I'm am a retired motion picture hair stylist and salon owner 40 yers. I was nominated for an Emmy and had done celebrities from Sting to Gwenyth Paltrow, on my last TV show Revenge I was doing hair on the lead actress it was 5 a.m. a new production assistant Came through the trailer door with the stars breakfast and dropped her plate which broke. I immediately took paper towels and cleaned it fast and the floor fast and said to the actress now there's a diet for ya, she laughed. She joked can I have some catsup with my shards of plate WE PUT FIRES OUT WE LOWER ANY DRAMA LEVEL . He was so worried he would loose his job! If I had upset the actor in fact the entire trailer before going on camera it would have been not good IF I took the position to berate this guy as in " look what you did, what if its landed on her wardrobe, on an and on. He later took me aside and thanked me! He said "I really need this job" I said "I GOT YOU" That' how you survive 40 years a motion pic hair stylist and salon owner with 50+ 5 star reviews on Yelp, you help at a crucial moment it not about me its always about helping and cleaning up a problem no drama and support. Jeff the store manager said we are supposed to see a situation from the eyes of the customer. Now most of the employees are great it's sad that one incident can destroy many good ones by others that work there. read more

The bathroom has been filthy every time I go in to this location, totally unsanitary. It's sad to see how the most basic thing can't get accomplished. Maybe teach them properly or have the manager double check to make sure the job is getting accomplished. Somebody needs to get written up. read more

Two Albertsons employees at the Central Point store are in desperate need of training in customer service. I rarely shop at this store and have No intention of doing so again. Instead of attempting to fix a problem, the cashier tried to cover up her mistake by accusing and berating me. A "customer service" employee, Shane, further aggravated the situation by openly humiliating and degrading me, loudly, in front of everyone in the checkout area. The manager did speak with me (after I called the corporate office office to file a complaint). But he never apologized for the treatment I received from his employees. Albertsons and Safeway are owned by the same company. I have always been treated very well by the employees at Safeway on Crater Lake Hwy and highly recommend that store. It's sad that the employees at Albertsons in Central Point don't have the same regard for their customers. read more

i go to albertsons often they usually have everything i need and it's a plus that they close super late. last two times i went i had scanned the coupons listed under the price tag no issues but this recent visit i went to buy a cake for my teacher and i took a picture of the coupon and i had done it before so i knew it was okay. there was extremely rude bagger on cashier 2 , was totally and completely unprofessional and dismissive and condescending . i work in retail and i know how to act with cashiers and how things work so i understand if it's policy but if ive done with before and you refuse to do your job correctly and treat everyone equal then you really shouldn't work in retail or in customer service. cashier was extremely helpful and manager was above and beyond. 10/10 on them two but extremely rude on the baggers part. again i understand policies and how certain discounts work and my issue wasn't not getting discounts my issue was how extremely rude she was down to her tone and the faces she was making and cutting me off mid sentence. experience ruined hope this gets resolved or they get training... read more

Quickly loosing my willingness to shop this store. We had an Albertson's near our California home which was well run. Not the case with this one. About half the time their rewards app makes an error then you have to stand around the customer service counter until someone shows up to fix your purchase, usually in the form of a cash refund and usually they are polite and friendly. This morning just before 8am I checked out and although the app worked fine the young clerk rung up one item twice. I caught it just as I left the line and when she saw me return she asked what the problem was. I told her and she instructed me that I would have to go thru the line again, instead of helping me at the head of the counter. She also said there was no one else available and she had a bit of a tude when resolving my issue. Wish there were other major supermarkets in the area. read more

six package of hot and spicy Nissin bowl noodle the price it was $6.99. I grab it to go to the Self check it out (there was no another cashier open )I tried a couple of different time The scanning was not correct, does not working I ask her for help the worker (she looks like a pregnant sitting there ) tell me the noodles supposed to be scanned individually, a coupon will showing after you paid . and I did . we i sit in the car look at the receipt that was charged $11.94. I don't like that . so I have to walk to the aisle took a picture to show her. they walk out to my car to grab this noodles back to where I paid . she got to go over there to check, $6.99 just like what the picture I took. For all the in and out walk, and her lacking of a motivation for helping . I don't know why she work in there if she's not willing to help customer when they need at first time. there is no apologize from her and she don't let me finished my talk. and Excuse herself she need to go help another customer. I come to this location around every other day- sometimes even daily. Everyone that works at this location are absolutely amazing. Including the pharmacists , the butcher, the deli department., bakery and last but not least- the cashiers. My favorite being Rose. This is the worst ran albertson we have ever gone to. The staff is so rude, they get their pricing wrong all the time. This albertson should just give it up and sell the building to someone who wants to open a roller rink. They have been through several managers and still it is nothing if not completly incompatant. The Pharmacy is the worst in the whole USA , The line is always at least 10 people deep and they also have a mis managed dept. Life is too short to shop at this store. This is the biggest Albertson's I've ever been in. It's super nice. Always clean. Well staffed. Great selection of vegetables (they sell white asparagus!). Thee only gripe I have about this place is it's layout. It is so frustrating how far away the staple items are and the aisles near the freezer section change direction so it dead end's... You'd have to see it to understand what I mean. Yes the prices are a little higher than say Wal Mart and Fred Meyer, but you know what? Albertson's has a higher selection with higher quality goods and higher wages, and higher costs, HENCE higher prices. If you can't afford to pay 20 extra cents for butter than go to Winco/Food4Less/Wal Mart/Fred Meyer and wait in a super long line and walk from a super far parking spot. I personally like short lines to the store doors and to pay. I don't do my bulk shopping here but when I need something quick or I need quality goods, I come here first. read more

just nowNEW I went in , in the morning to do my shopping. There was an obviously new checker. Very nice I am a regular customer, I purchased an item that was on sale for $2.47 so I got two. Regular price $5.99 I would not purchased if not on sale because your store brand in always lower priced. I told the checker I had beer under my cart for her to scan. She was very slow because of being new I'm sure. I reminded her again about the beer and moved the cart around to the end to make it easer for her. She still forgot and was about to ring me out when I stoped her and had her ring up the beer. When I got home I went over my receipt because it didn't seem right. There were a couple of things rung up wrong and I was not given the sale price for the two items. When I went back to the store to show them I was met by a very rude person manager I assume ,asking what I needed in a voice rude and loud enough for the whole store to hear and made me feel like someone just trying to get money back. If that's how I was I could have walked out of the store with $28 worth of beer. She was very rude with a very loud voice. I have been shopping at the store 2 to 3 times a week for the last six years and I am now too embarrassed to go back ! read more

This is my favorite grocery store in the valley. The staff is always very helpful and polite. I love shopping their ad...always a good deal to be had. Heather, the front end manager is a sweetheart. The tortilla chips they make in-house are THE BEST!!!! They have trays of cut-up veggies ready for just about an recipe in the produce section....I love those!! Keep up the good work!! I usually shop at Albertons on West Main street, many times I will find myself shopping at the Central Point Albertsons. I do so enjoy the bakery products my home store offers, however, at Central Point the bagels, pies and breads are under baked lacking a golden color, looking pale in comparison to what I buy at home. I regrettably end up not buying there and making a special second trip to the Albertsons in Medford to get the baked goods. In the past three years sadly the same results for me. read more

If you make sure to load your Just For U card and check the ads before you go, you can end up saving quite a bit. This location does well stocking it's inventory and the only negative might be that the parking lot can be a pain at times. read more

It's an Albertsons. Nothing much to say except it is missing one crucial thing... A Starbucks! Most Albertsons have them, and there is definitely room for one. I would like to update my review! Pharmacy is still awful so avoid, but I have always loved grocery shopping here! Not very crowded, you are right in and right out! The cashiers are always very nice and the baggers always offer to help you out to your car and bag and load your cart nicely. Their prices are way better than Target that's for sure! A 2 lb block of Tillamook cheese was only $6.99 on sale at Albertson's yet at Target the same block was $10.29! Absolutely ridiculous! I always tend to just shop Albertson's sales since I am used to Costco and Winco for my major grocery shopping. But Albertson's is real quick and convenient for odds and ends I run out of around the house, so it's nice. Here I usually buy my fruits, vegetables, lettuce, milk, chicken, cheese, eggs and other necessities that are perishable and I run out of often! ;) read more

This is my first review of CENTRAL POINT Albertsons supermarket. While its true you really can't seriously judge stores in different cities the same simply because the population might be vastly different. However I have to admit the size of the Central Point store is really wonderful considering the size of the city its in.They really seem to keep up with the latest trends.The self-service machines and the outstanding organic food sections are just a few examples.They have sales often, and an excellent selection of products.Every store is different in what they carry so its not fair to judge to harshly as its all relative.The employees are friendly and helpful. So if you want to shop at the biggest and best traditional type supermarket in Central Point this is the one! read more

Grocery store is close and convenient. Tried the deli for the first time. I ordered two sandwiches. One for myself, I like pepper jack, and one for my girlfriend. My girlfriend can't handle spicy because it really upsets her stomach. But today we had our sandwiches and both had pepper jack on them. I could have checked to make sure, but I had trust my order was right. And now only one sandwich was eaten and now my girlfriend is sick in bed. And when asking for mayo on a sandwich, I don't expect a tiny spear on my side of the bread. Also when hearing sourdough as an option, I didn't expect is sliced.
