First off, the vibe here is very old-school early-1970s local neighborhood store. Its stock is...well...jumbled. It's got lawn items & clothing & dishware & ...automotive??...& whatnot on one side, food on the other, and not very clear sections. I mean, the sections are *marked*, but after finding certain specific items in at least five different & separate sections -- they need some serious organizational help. I normally don't mind scavenger hunts, but not in a store where I'm trying to get what I need and go home. Selection is basic (someone in another review compared it to Aldi's, but it's not as organized as Aldi's), though with a lot of name brands. Everything is pre-packaged; no bulk items (save candy) and limited selection of those. However, to the good, there were surprises: they've got a decent amount of sugar-free, organic, & international items (chorizo!), the produce section was well-stocked & fresh, and they had a lot of local/ohio-made items. The biggest "to the good" was the pricing: it was easily MUCH cheaper than Kroger's. So if you don't mind a bit of disorganization, definitely give this place a try!

It's not just one or two items. They typically have a cart full of high-end purses, perfumes, clothing, and more. Today they took extra long to put a bin out and waited for the same group of oriental women to walk in and get positioned. A new bin went out immediately upon their arrival. Last Friday I tailed one of the oriental women into the store and scored several items which is atypical. I asked one of them if they knew the exact times that the bins were being put out today. Her response was that it was just a big coincidence that they walked in when the bin was being placed out randomly. This was the same woman that had FaceTimed the manager ( who happened to be of a similar background) in my presence a while back while we were waiting to get into the store. As a consumer, this is very bad business. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the male manager as I left today. My advice is if you see oriental women entering the store follow them because they may know EXACTLY where things are going to be placed.

I think where this store really stands out is with meat and dairy products. Lots of organic choices and prices were significantly lower than at the major grocery stores. Some of the produce did not look the freshest to me. They also carry a number of Asian food specialties. There is no self service checkout and only one register was open when I visited, so I could see the checkout process being slow here if it was busy.

I had the day off today so I figured I would kill time and check this place out. I was not disappointed I got a lot for less. I didn't necessarily need anything in particular but was just there to see what they had. I came out with more than I imagined. I got my ocean spray juice I would have gotten at Sam's Club cheaper here. Then my daughter came up with a "wish list" of things she wants my husband and I to get her here for the holidays. I kid you not. Let's hope we get the word out to more family members and friends about this place because mom and dad need some leeway on gifts this holiday season. I will definitely be back as I did this trip without getting pershible foods. Next trip I plan to get the persibles. Upon check out we waited and my daughter got a toy at check out. And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.

You can tell that they take time and care with what they stock and how they set up their displays. I find that my favorite booths get restocked often with an array of new treasures. I've purchased beautiful original art, handmade ceramic pottery, a gorgeous Persian rug and many more one of a kind pieces. This is my go to place whenever I'm looking for unique home decor or a special gift. The off putting.. the staff is usually so helpful and kind but there is one employee (Kerry) that can be outright nasty to customers. I witnessed her make disparaging remarks about another customer. She did this in earshot of my mother and I and then acted like the other customer had personally offended her or done something wrong when they asked for a discount on a damaged item from her booth. She then proceeded to speak to my mother about why her nasty remark was justified. It was gross and I hope that the owner of the store reads this review and is able to address Kerry's nasty attitude. The other complaint is when you see an item with a thrift store price tag right next to the vendors highly inflated price tag. So tacky! I do highly recommend this store but I also hope they can address these issues.
