First it's right off the turnpike, so if I ever find myself near the area I will be happy to stop by... and then the abundance of good quality shirts and clothes made this unplanned stop quite a thrill! I stopped by with a friend I had met for lunch at the Peruvian restaurant next door (Embarcadero 41) and we just wanted to browse as the delicious food worked its way to our tummy's... well we both walked out with a couple (or 4) new blouses because the variety available and the great quality made it awesome. I guess since it's in Boca, they curate the merchandise to the more upscale area..: so I'm def going to remember this and do the drive up when I'm need of some new items to refresh my wardrobe. It's like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find and sometimes you will find thing you never thought you needed! The home goods department is always good. I bought some nice calphalon pans for under $20 and they just received all the Christmas goods. Aisles and aisles of beautiful decorations and a nice selection of Hanukkah decor too. Long lines on the weekends. Best time to shop is late in the afternoon or early evening.

I usually go to the Supercenter on Military in Delray however I decided to check out this Neighborhood Market branch a couple of months back. To my surprise it was actually really good. It's basically like the entire food section of a Supercenter minus 85% of the crowd, is your parking and a cleaner store. The one area of criticism I do have to mention is that they are horrible with making sure that expired are taken off the shelf. I am a big fan of the Yakult probiotic drinks for example. However for the last 6 weeks or so they have failed to update their stock. They literally have five packages that expired April 11th as well as some that expired in January. This is really disgusting. I don't understand what the issue is but it's definitely something they should check into. I've also seen expired hummus, meat and milk on the shelves. You definitely should check all the dates on your fresh products before buying them. Overall though, three stars for me. It's definitely a good place to do some grocery shopping and not spend a fortune.

But we do okay with a few household items, accessories, and comfortable shorts for my husband. They used to carry a brand of costume bracelets I liked -- and I keep looking for them -- but no longer. Of course, last month when I was browsing and had a birthday discount, I couldn't find anything. We were having lunch on the other side of the shopping center and decided to stop by. Today, I found some pool flip flops and a new pair of inexpensive designer sunglasses -- for the pool, too -- as well. It's nice to know they are here. This store was huge. And it had all sorts of departments within it. I'm more familiar with their outlet stores which are much smaller and compact. I needed a replacement purse so that where I went first. They had some clearance sales going on which was an added incentive. I actually found two possibilities right away and wound up purchasing one, I didn't explore the entire store -- just mainly the jewelry, accessories, and shoe departments. These were all close together. So I found something I needed and it was not only priced well, but was a name designer, too. It's good to know I have an alternative to my usual haunts.
