This dollar tree is generally well-stocked and offers lots of seasonal decorations appropriate for the time of year. It's kept clean and tidy. The shelves don't have have that "ravaged by crowds" look to them. ( The fact that this is something worth mentioning tells you what many other Dollar Tree stores are like.) You can find plenty of budget toiletry items and general kitchen and bathroom cleaning supplies here. The parking lot is in a large strip mall with lots of interesting shops, so it's generally populated with a variety of other shoppers going about their way. read more

Went here to buy some packaging for my cookies. I have a plastic poly sealer at home. I just need something to wrap up my cookies nicely and professionally. I will be making Macau almond cookies and then give the cookies away to family members and co-workers. Some treats for them to enjoy this coming Chinese New Year. You can find these packages in the party section. I find them near the party favors or the gift area but near the events party area. I think one pack is already a lot and I buy packages and packages and keep them stocked at home. I bake cookies all year around. I need them around the holidays. Its my hobby and my thing to give out cookies and this is my stop to get my packaging. I love dollar tree. read more

It's a decent stop for things way overpriced elsewhere. Go me it's simple greeting cards and gist bags. The cards are very basic but they are hallmark. $1 each. The gift bags are $1.25 far less than other retailers. The only service is at the registers. The ladies are mostly sweet and kind. The one gentleman if had was a good guy and was very efficient. A nice stop if you don't get bogged down with the useless bulk of goods offered here. I started coming here way back when they sold the Sunday paper for $1. In short order local churches bought them all up when they opened to reap profits from their parishioners. read more

My experience at this dollar tree was great primarily because it had a lot of great stuff that the Dollar Trees in the Los Angeles area don't have. The service was good and the cashiers were friendly. I would come back in a heartbeat. read more

Great prices, $1.25 for items. I have some clients, goats and sheep, who love snacks. I go here to buy peanuts, butter cookies and ginger snaps. They are inexpensive, have a good supply on hand, easy to locate, nearby parking and usually in and out. The store is a mess. I presume part of this is for low staffing but also people rummaging through the shelves. The customer service is hit and miss, but okay. read more

Very messy and do not offer a wide range of crafts and decor. I have to drive 1hr to my hometown dollar tree to get Decorations. The Cashiers are very nice. And they open up new registers when the lines gets long. read more

hi i went to this store with my friends and i saw a knockoff taki bag so i got it and this worker told me not to come ever again because that bag messed up there machine but wasn't really my fault because i just wanted to buy it and the worst part I NEVER GOT THE BAG. Worst customer service EVER. AVOID this location. 27 customers in line. I was in the middle. There were two other employees talking and I kindly asked if they were going to open another register. Thanksgiving day and I'm third in line. Lady states to cashier "Oh no!" when she is paying for items. He ask "What's wrong ma'am?" She's states "I must've left me card at home" without hesitation the cashier Anthony pulls out his wallet and says "It's on me". This is a wonderful place with wonderful staff. Horrible customer service. I was in line for 10min and the line didn't move an inch. There was no greeting when I walked in and seemed that they didn't care if customer walked out. I will never go there again. Hopefully they will hire harder working and more experienced workers. read more

2 stars because I actually saw them spraying disinfectant spray on the carts and baskets. Staff is crap tho. Theyre not helpful. And I feel like everytime they "forget to bag" things. Literally I've left and had to go back after realizing some of the items were the only reason i went there at all!! There's always boxes everywhere. The first time i came here I thought it was a day they were stocking shelves but after them 20th time, I realized that that's just how it is lol. lol this location is sooo close to my home that I just suck it up and deal w it but if u don't have to - I recommend going to another location! read more

I just came from the Dollar Tree on Sheldon Blvd. I tried to exchange 3 items for 3 other items. The cashier told me she couldn't do it. They have always done it before. I have been calling the store for over 20 minutes and the phone must be off the hook because all I keep getting is a busy signal. A wasted trip of time and gas. read more

One of the older managers at this store refuses to serve Asian American customers. How sad she still does this in one of the most diverse cities in the world. And she gets away with it too - I called corporate at 757-321-5000 and they don't seem to care. read more

Dollar Tree has been coming up for awhile now! The quality of the products are getting better and better! I typically go there for office supplies, cleaning supplies, snacks, drinks, decorations, actually everything they offer lol. There are some cashiers who's customer service is on point and make my shopping experience pleasant and there are others that can be replaced self checkout machines. read more

Dude. It's Dollar Tree. Prepare yourself for some pretty weird people and a healthy dose of hand sanitizer and GO! Throwing a party for your kids? Go to Dollar Tree. Need stuff for an Easter basket? Go to Dollar Tree. Need some random school supplies? Go to Dollar Tree. If you are willing to put up with some skeeeeeetchy people and a sales person who talks on their phone the entire time you are checking out, you will be happy when you leave with 18 bags of stuff for pennies. They also have balloon bouquets for CHEAP! Only their selection is pretty limited, so check it out prior to party day. read more

It remains unclear whether I shop at Dollar Tree to save money to fund my poker habit, or if I have to shop at Dollar Tree BECAUSE OF my poker habit. Then again, if I won the lottery tomorrow I would probably still shop here. Why? Because, clearly, there are things in life you should NOT spend more than a buck on because it's a big waste...even if you have money to blow. Examples? Gift wrap. Greeting cards (which are TWO for a buck, by the way...I mean, COME ON). Ziploc bags and aluminum foil. Shampoo and conditioner. That's right, I said it, bitches!!! At the risk of sounding pompous, I should mention that I get compliments on my shiny hair all the time. My boyfriend is actually quite sick of hearing about it. But I digress. You suckers spending $10 a bottle on Paul Mitchell are making asses of yourselves. Halloween candy. YES. Dum-Dum lollipops by the gross for those foreign kids who don't even bother to dress up for the occasion anyway. The moral of the story is: shop here, and shop often. Standard of living dictates that sometimes cheap is what you need. A dollar is a dollar, and sometimes, it's just more simple and easy to pick up something at the Dollar Tree. Stick of deodorant, a spoon, a bowl, little decorations for birthdays, and cheap holiday stuff to spruce up that party you're about to have. I'd say the only thing I'd avoid here (for the most part) is the food. Last time I was here, I caught a cute little mouse on camera roaming around like he owned the place. So yeaaaaah, you gotta do what you gotta do, but there's a reason it's the Dollar Store. read more

This Dollar Tree is disorganized, messy and the employees are unprofessional. I've been there just about 5 times now and there is always a long line and one cashier. I know it's Dollar Tree so I'm not expecting superb customer service. Shoot I'm not even expecting mediocre customer service. Today I went with my kids. You know it's pretty bad customer service when your 8 and 6 year old comment on how rude the cashier was. In front of my kids the cashier was rude to a customer inquiring about balloons. Then the cashier turns to me and the customer behind me and says "man I wasn't going to drink today. But now I am. I'm 65 years old I can do what I want". Really?! In front of my kids? I get we all have our bad days, if you're that unhappy with your job then quit! You're 65 years old like you stated. Maybe act more mature. This dollar store isn't very big, but I've managed to find a few things I need at a very reasonable price =). I buy wrapping paper, gift bags, matches and other things. I especially enjoy coming for stuff I need for camping, like cooking utensils, foil containers, dish soap, stuff like that. This is a store I will continue to come to, because I always manage to find something. I actually found some pretty decent hair clips, a three pack! I wish I would have purchased more though, because it wasn't something they restocked on and I managed to break mine, not because they were cheap, because I care careless. read more

This store offers a wide selection of items, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even Birthday decorations are reasonably priced $1.00 goes a long way... I went shopping at this store last summer for 4th of July, I was shocked at how many things I found for so cheap.And they have really cute gift bags/gift wraps only a dollar each! The one thing I didn't like was the attitude of the people working there, it was as if they didn't want to be work , No customer service.I had $100.00 bill and the things i bought all together were like 20 something bucks, when I paid the cash register lady, (some fugly fat he/she old grumpy fart) she was too lazy to get change, and started showing nasty attitude, talking shit under her breath.In this economy we should be thankful we even have a job. So, I would recommended the store for saving money on cute things, but I rather go to Target of Walmart, spend a little more, then up with imbeciles like the ones in Elk groves dollar tree. read more

However, after considering them for a minute or two, I decided not to purchase them because of their heavy weight and the challenges that poses when it comes to washing. My wife found a couple of tops she liked, and we headed for the cashier. For some reason, only one of the two registers was open, and because it was closing time, everyone was lined up to pay, which took a while. Other than that, it was a productive visit.

I usually frequent DTs in my area for everyday essentials, frivolous fun items, and hobby materials so this DT is new to me. It looked so big from the outside and indeed it is pretty big once you enter the store. This DT's arrangement is similar to other DTs with holiday and seasonal items front and center near the entrance, and then there's more (party & home) decor, greeting cards, arts & crafts and gardening items, etc. towards one side (right side in this store as you face in), essentials like health & beauty, automotive & electronics, and some "clothing" (mostly socks) towards the middle, and the left side of the store has the pantry & shelf stable food goods as well as light kitchenware to include dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, plastic and glass storage, etc. Towards the back of the store there are several freezer/cold cases just behind the aisles of pantry foods, and back towards the right side of the store again against the backwall, there are all the cleaning supplies and chemicals. Relatedly, I want to mention that Awesome is one brand that's tried and true for cheap cleaning liquids that DT still carries. Basically DT carries a little bit of everything you could possibly need, but on a smaller scale of choices, durability/quality, and functionality. So in some way it's almost as comprehensive as a Target or Walmart, but it's more convenient to get in and out here if you can find the same items here and it'll probably be slightly cheaper, but a lower quality version. It's too bad inflation has made it so that so many items at DT are now $1.25 at a minimum and most are at $1.50 to $5 and some items even more pricey than that. I found arts & crafts supplies I was looking for here, so this store is better stocked than one of the regular DTs in my area, but there were also some messy areas throughout this store. Still, it's not a bad DT and it's really got a little of everything from your depended on items to different doodads that don't matter, lol. Overall, this particular DT at the corner of Laguna and Bruceville was more than adequate in its offerings and staff were friendly and helpful enough too.

I bought some plates that came in a box and when I got home one was broken…read more- I came back to exchange them and after the staff could not help me, I asked to see their manager - Rochelle was absolutely FABULOUS!!! She understood what I was asking, was quick to move to make the decision to correct the issue (as I wanted to still keep the plates and all I wanted was credit for the broken one and a new plate that was not broken) and she did all this without any attitude and a smile!! I WALKED OUT OF THERE EXTREMELY PLEASED AND HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS AND WITH ALL MY NEW PLATES!!!! Love this place!…read more Our go to spot whenever we want to galavant. Plenty of things to see and buy. You can never go wrong when visiting home goods. It may be hard if you're trying to find something specific, but go in with an open mind--and you'll definitely find something you like.
