This is one of the most organized Dollar Trees I've ever been to. I've been to two Dollar Trees in Santa Rosa and both were a mess. Stuff all over the floor like trash and merchandise (I'm not kidding) and merchandise misplaced by customers and not put back where they belong. I moved to Healdsburg and decided to give this one a try. I needed some food storage containers, clothes hangars, and christmas cards. Everything was a dollar. The shelves were well organized and nothing was misplaced or on the floor. I would have given them 5 stars but the checkout line was super long with just 1 checker open. They finally opened up a 2nd check stand. I asked him why and he said one of the workers called in sick. I guess being a dollar store, they have to keep overhead low with minimal employees. I witnessed a female employee that was so rude to customers too. I believe her name is Tina (her name on my receipt). She embarrassed customers who are buying reduced price items and loudly told them their card is denied. She bosses this younger white girl who also used to work there. I felt bad for the girl and haven't seen her work there now. Maybe evil Tina got her fired or quit. I feel bad that I didn't file complaint about Tina rudeness. While I have been going to this store all my life I have never had such a rude and horrible attitude worker ever. It was Sunday at like 11 am maybe I go to check out with my cousin and I'm using food stamps and she said that it was declined. That wasn't the problem for me though. It was that she had said she was "going to say declined as a joke but then it was declined" then she had the audacity to chuckle. I got a bit confused and she noticed so then she went and said "declined" so loud I swear the back of the line heard it to! I also had another time where my cousin was using Apple Pay and the same worker KEPT telling her that's not how she does it repeatedly but it still worked. I don't get how these people can be so rude for no reason. This was the worst experience ever. read more

There was only one person working, and a very long line. The man was SO rude - even yelling at customers! He was getting annoyed with everyone, and snapping at them. He was also playing his own music up front - really loudly. When a woman said something about how it was clashing with the music that was already on in the store, he said that he didn't like that music, and that he could do whatever he wanted. read more

"I have been a customer for multiple years at this dollar tree. An employee Richard working the cash register was yelling during his shift, cursing at customers, telling them to get out, and actually scaring another customer who I overheard say "I'm scared" in response to him telling her she needed to go. Richard has an attitude issue and was yelling at other workers screaming at a young woman "I need you to SERVICE me now!" Other customers in the store were visibly scared by his loud and erratic behavior. After yelling at his young coworker who looked like she was in her 20s she quickly walked away with her cheeks burning red. His behavior is scary and he appears he might be on drugs. Please review his behavior on the cameras and let him go." This is the exact message that I sent to the corporate dollar tree office tonight 4/13/24. Absolute WORST service... i never write bad reviews so that says a lot. today around 3pm my sister and i were checking out and she left her payment in my car which was less than a minute away from the door... the guy working told me i needed to pay for her stuff or move to the back. i was shocked, i didn't have my wallet on me or i would've just paid. what got me was his comment saying "well she's taking her sweet time out there..." my sister got hit by a car a while ago and had to have knee surgery so she can't really run or walk super fast. when i said she's about to walk in he mumbled something else under his breathe and i said "you know what, you do not need to be rude. she's right there" he wouldn't even make eye contact with me and said "well im not being rude but come on..." to which i replied , yes you're being very rude and unprofessional actually. i have the most respect for anyone working in customer service and always give the benefit of the doubt, especially because there's always only one checker. i'm always patient and kind and even picked up stuff that was thrown into the ground because i know how it is working in customer service. i've done it for over 10 years myself. i was truly shocked at how low the customer service is now, i don't expect the best service but at least some common courtesy to your patrons. you're there to do a job, so do it. who argues with customers like that??? i tried to find a manager and couldn't find a single soul. called the store twice no answer and left a message. the lack of customer service is appalling, even for the dollar tree.... i'd give zero stars if i could. find better employees asap , i'm tired of being treated poorly just because i want to shop at a discount store read more

Parking was great and store was clean and well organized! However - my checker, "Ayett" (or Ayette?) was one of the rudest checkers I've ever had an experience with!!! I can't even believe the experience I just had with him (9-10-23). I'd put my handcart on the conveyor belt, at the end of all my items, because I'd never been in the store and didn't know where to put it (there wasn't an obvious place to put it). He first said "don't put that there." So, I moved it to the end of the check stand (where a bagger might be), and he says "that's NOT where it goes!" but, he provided no other request/direction/explanation (like "hey - we're really short staffed - would you mind putting that in the stack of handcarts by the front door?"). I'm sure I looked at him like "what the heck?!" and asked where I should put it. He points at the front door... Really?! I have NO problem helping out by returning carts or hand baskets, but the way in which he chastised me was over & above unbelievable. This is the most unorganized and disgusting Dollar Tree I have been in. A lot of shelves where empty while others were over flowing with random things. It was really hard to find what I was looking for. Being in Healdsburg I expected a lot more from this store. It's a really large store but it's so dirty you can hardly shop. I bought pool noodles and he scanned 3 of my plates so it was weird cause I only got 1 pack of plates and he's like (throwing his hands up) "everything is the same price here, that was for them!" Never thought I'd ever leave a bad review, let alone at a dollar tree, but Ayette was the cashier who checked me out and all I have to say is SEXIST. If you are a woman he will be so rude to you for no reason. I have ADHD and I tend to fidget; Mr. Ayette thought I was attacking his personal intelligence and said I was being very rude because I was organizing my items on the conveyer belt?? I can't stand when people make assumptions about what I am doing, especially when I don't even say anything! Then he ignored me and only talked to the man behind me. Ayett or idk his name was checking people at about 8:30 pm; Store closes at 9 pm. The worker Ayett was complaining how people after us in line were "scum"for shopping so close to closing time and how much more they had to do after they closed. Also had said the store was open plenty of other times for them to shop. I find it super disrespectful for someone to talk like that in a customer service roll. I wish I could give them negative stars. Never in a million years would I want someone to call their customers "scum" for shopping during their service hours. read more

Went to the store today and the cashier middle aged white woman was so rude to my family and I. Sad because it's our neighbor store. When we said hi she ignored us and my husband said thank you she said nothing. Will definitely ask for another cashier next time we go. One star is too high of a rating for this Dollar Tree. This store is a DUMP. It's messy and dusty and dirty. The management is non existent. There is only one person ever on a register no matter how long the lines are. I have been there on numerous occasions when the line has 10 people or more and they never open another register. Simply the best dollar store I have been to in all of Sonoma county. This dollar tree compares to one I've been to a few times in LA maybe better. Honestly if you're in any surrounding cities and on a budget around the holidays, or at anytime really, I would suggest checking out this location. It is a lot more high class than the other dollar stores in surrounding cities. But not only is the environment more pleasant, the store more clean and the customer service 5 times as friendly, there seem to be a lot more things to buy here. And better quality items as well. You can find some really fun stuff. It's also awesome if you like to DIY. I'm not a Healdsburg local but luckily I work here and discovered this. Worth the drive from Santa Rosa any time if you've got a little more time and you want a more pleasant layout and more options in every category. read more

There is always some little incidental I need, and randomly they always have it. last week, streamers, and poster board. today, diet coke and heart shaped erasers. (don't ask) The fact that they occasionally have lingerie like items in the clothing department cracks me up. This is certainly one of the cleanest Dollar Tree stores in the area. The staff is always friendly and polite. Fun store to go to! Make sure to definitely grab a shopping cart with you. The store is pretty big, clean but a little messy. Yes their items are where they are supposed to be but every time I stopped by they are always adding something else or putting thing together which is cool. The staff is okay in my opinion. They are certainly friendly and polite but they are not really helpful. They have all kinds of things for each seasons and holidays. Like right now they have garden supplies, garden decorations, all sorts of party supplies for summer ideas and of course not forgetting the usual stuff (Home Decor, Cleaning, Kitchen needs, Beauty needs, Kids School needs..(Anything .. you name it... they probably have it) This store has a lot of potential, the parking is super easy and seriously it is a great value. Today I went into the Healdsburg Dollar store looking for Hand Sanitizer, spray sanitizer and sanitizing wipes for my classroom. As a teacher, I'm trying to get ready for school and I want to be fully stocked with sanitizer . I asked Jose if they had anything in stock for teachers. Jose went out of his way to get me a large supply of sanitizing supplies to purchase for my students and my classroom. When I told him thank you he said anything for kids and to keep them safe. I was so impressed with his professionalism and his kindness. What a HUGE dollar tree!! Even better, they have a large, clean facility with cashiers who aren't slower than molasses ringing out your $1 fare. I grab the 9" pie tins for ample holiday pie making (so much better then the dispoable pie tins that don't hold water when a blade slices through it!) as well as 12" pizza dishes (works great when i have 12" cakes i need to display!) Got a 4pk of permanent markers as well. They had tons of great seasonal items too. Definitely dangerous going in here...but lots of great finds, I highly recommend! read more

Rudest cashier ever!!! Dropped a penny in front of her and she said 'you need one more penny.' I said ' its right there in front of you', she's says 'can you hand it to me'. Lazy girl wouldn't even move 2 inches to pick it up of the counter in front of her! I had to lean over and had it to her!!! It's always dirty. The dirt you can see the floor. I walk in and I feel so upset. The gentleman named Jorden was very rude and didn't know how to answer my questions. He's very unprofessional. The hand sanitizer they have for customers is very liquidity(watered down) and smells terrible. I saw a lot of associates on the floor putting things away but no one was helping the cashier wit the line (it's not her fault.) Jorden barely started helping when a women brought up the issue. This is the Nordstrom of Dollar Tree locations. The store is incredibly clean, updated and well stocked. Floor is linoleum, not the disgusting, filthy carpet that is in regular Dollar Tree. An incredible place for nice party supplies, snacks and personal hygiene items (like deodorant, toothpaste and bar soap). Lots of name brand things, and close outs. Frozen food section is well displayed, and organized too! Stock up! Send a care package to servicemen overseas or fill a box and send to a 3rd world country. read more

For a Dollar store, there is a lot to choose from. It is cleaner than other ones I have been too and I have been able to find simple items (such as soap and cleaners) for, of course, a buck while Safeway is double or triple the price. You are not going to find many brand name items. While there are some (such as in the candy section), you will find mostly the second rate items. But that is expected in the Dollar Tree. I know other Dollar Stores do it but it is the first one I encountered that sells wine. You are not going to find top shelf wines from nearby wineries, but what they have is not bad. You have to be quick though. Once they are on the shelves they tend to disappear quickly. The staff is good. Never had any problems. I also try to support the drives they have for toys for kids.
