Honestly- it would be more beneficial for them if they had a tiered pricing system. Because $9 for a party banner (something I can get for $1.25 from dollar tree) is not worth it! Pet stuff, electronic gear, house cleaning supplies, it's like Walmart only they don't sell couches, etc. Staff is friendly. Other customers are fun to meet. By far the nicest and most open-spaced store! The selections were plentiful and fully stocked up. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. Everything was bright, clean, and airy. And housewares. I went around checking out each aisle trying to remember the items I had wanted to get for stocking stuffers and for my own use. The cute 'boba tea' cups which can hang on your bag and contain your pills. The keychain hanger, the socks, the gloves, and on and on. Lots of cute items to gift others. And beauty masks and lip glosses. It was a fun time looking at the Stuffies too. And they're celebrating Hello Kitty's birthday. Fun! Parking in shared lot.

While I was there today she was talking to another employee (a black male) about how much she hates the company and her lack of pay raises. He was just standing at the register not doing anything. I had to ask for a bag, and she put it out but did not open it and piled all my items on top of the bag. She didn't even try to bag the items while I was paying. Then I was bagging the items while they were still complaining and doing nothing. What happened to customer service there?

I was looking for quirky bookends and a speaker dock. Oddly, there wasn't a single pair of bookends, quirky or otherwise. But I found a Bose speaker dock! Both the remote and the outlet plug were missing. But I am nothing if not persistent. I searched through two boxes of cords and plugs, and found the missing plug. Did not find the remote. It's not an infrequent occurrence that the plugs get separated from the appliance. Sometimes they are even priced, although this plug was not. Someone had deliberately removed it from the dock, which was all taped up, and thrown the cord into the box. Perhaps they intended to grab the speaker later, idk. Things are often cheaper on Saturdays. The employees here are very nice and helpful. The store is clean and organized. And the speaker dock works perfectly! A most successful thrifting stop.

I have been shopping at this ARC for years. Kind of my home-base thrift store. Lately, I have…read morenoticed a change in some personnel and a definite change of attitude. A new employee who I had never seen before (long black curly hair) was very aggressive toward me, cashiers acting a little strange. I am not sure what is going on. Over the years I have never had a problem there. The prices are now very high and apparently as I learned from an employee, theft is an extreme and ongoing problem. My happy place is becoming my anxiety place. No good. I actually notice a much more pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff at the ARC on Dry Creek, so it is something going on with this particular store.

Yesterday at approximately 2:15 PM, my husband and I entered the TJ Maxx store, as we routinely do…read moreon weekends. Upon entering, a security guard also entered and gave us a prolonged and unusual look. At the time, we did not think much of it and continued shopping. Shortly after, my husband went to the coffee section while I remained in the women's clothing area. I moved between the women's section, the juniors section, and then the designer area. Throughout this entire time, the security guard followed me closely, remaining only a few feet behind me. Each time I moved to a different section, he moved immediately after me and maintained the same close distance. At one point, I heard the security guard make a phone call, which appeared to be regarding me. His proximity and behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I contacted my husband and informed him that I was being followed and profiled by the security guard. He came to join me immediately, yet the security guard continued to follow me even after my husband arrived. I then spoke with a manager to report the situation. What was particularly concerning is that many other shoppers in the store were dressed similarly to me, sweats and jackets, which was appropriate given that it was snowing. The only clear difference between myself and those shoppers was that I was the only visibly brown person in the area. The security guard's behavior made me feel criminalized and unwelcome, as though I was being treated as suspicious solely based on my appearance. This experience was deeply distressing. No customer should be made to feel intimidated, surveilled, or forced to leave a store based on race or ethnicity. This incident reflects a serious concern regarding discriminatory treatment of shoppers, particularly people of color

This location is set off from the Park Meadows mall but parking can get busy if you want up front parking. My only complaint is the alteration service. The seamstress Nila is incredible and very talented. She's warm and friendly as well as efficient. I have confidence in her sewing skills. However, the pricing is confusing as well as not clearly displayed or explained. We took shirts to be tailored but some were $38 and others $78. It totaled over $600... A bit much for my usual needs. While they offer alterations for non Nordstrom items, the price is just a bit outrageous. Desiree, one of the managers, was kind and understanding in letting us cancel our order and the return process was stress free and quick. Overall, I still feel love for this location, the staff and the cute things I snag on each shopping spree. I'm a kid at heart and an irresponsible adult at the checkout counter here.

A lot of the toys here are from the 70s-90s but they have some older and newer stuff too. Many are used, some new and they do have some collectibles. It's a pretty tight space completely packed with stuff so it can take awhile to look through everything, but isn't that part of the fun? The staff are super nice and knowledgeable and just ask that you don't manhandle everything because there's some old stuff there they don't want dirtied or broken which is a no brainer. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance to help with that. We had a fun time reliving some of our youth and I saw toys there I hadn't thought about since I was in elementary school. A must-do if you're in the Denver area looking for something unique to do.
