I went up to her and asked if I could have it since it way past the expiration date. She said no, that they would all be donated to an organization. I doubt it. What organization is going to accept product that far back expired? She made some BS excuse that it was because of the remodeling. I also asked for help to find a food item and all she said was, "If it's on the floor, we have it. If you don't see it, we don't." Mind you I witnessed her helping another elderly Asian woman and actually tried helping her look for the product. I will never come back to this location. Place sucks!

Items with price tags are priced above that price. Items from dollar tree and target dollar spot. The pricing is also so inconsistent. I asked once who prices the items and was told exactly what I thought... it's done randomly. Except clothing. I was told clothing goes to the HB store to be priced. I would prefer to support thrift stores who offer fair pricing and will most likely limit my time here. The staff is not very friendly or helpful and spend the majority of their time chatting with each other near the self checkout stands. One positive is you receive a 20% coupon if you donate. I do wish more thrift stores did that.

We love Daiso! I was so thrilled when they opened one in Flushing, NY. Sadly that is gone. So one…read moreof our must dos when we are out west is to go to Daiso. We found this Daiso and stopped in. We were there for 15 minutes when we realized we needed more time to shop because it is the largest we have seen in the States. They even carry items from their sister store Threeppy which I visited in Tokyo. We returned the next day and roamed the store to our hearts content. Such a wonderful selection of items, things you think you didn't need or wat. We picked up several items which would definitely cost more elsewhere. The base price for Daiso items is $2.25 unless otherwise marked and according to the conversion table so prices do range. Shelves are well stocked. It is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Service is friendly and efficient. All purchases are final sale so no refunds. Happy shopping!

And its really hard to tell what the price is on most items. They do have some cute stuff, but I think they could price them better. Yesterday Christmas was 1/2 off. Well, some of it. Some was still full price. At this point I feel like it should be off the shelves or at least 75% off. Books, Pajamas, Incense, fun stuff that remind me of the 90s but not all that great of a deal overall.

It was my first time at Five Below and I was completely impressed. They sadly may need to change their name to $15 Below, because while they do still have many items $5 and under, they also have a good amount above too! I was really loving all their awesome beauty dupes! Plus, the store had great back to school items, backpacks, lunchboxes, water thermos, and more! I also loved how everything was displayed and well organized. Oh, and their candy section was amazing too! I can't wait to come back and explore more of the store soon.

The El Toro location is always clean, bright and well stocked. I like coming to this Daiso because parking is easy and the store is really big and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Some items are priced higher depending on quality or function, but they have price sheets next to those items to indicate that it could cost more. For this visit, I did have a list of items I was interested in and was able to find such as, squeeze bottle for condiments, small mesh strainer, tempura paper liner and tongs. What I bought on impulse was the robe indoor house slippers, bear squeaky dog toy, card holder and a koi fish reusable bag. Their dog toys are perfect for my Pancake. She's obsessed with the bear since it squeaks and has soft limbs for her to chew on. They surprisingly hold up well with light play/chew, but most of the dog toys in our home are from Daiso. The only thing I couldn't find was the oil absorbing pads for used cooking oils. After frying, I used to throw a couple of those pads into a pan and it would soak up any remaining oil to toss in the trash. Was really useful to keep on hand, but I haven't found it in awhile. Besides that, I'm always happy to visit a Daiso and will be back soon.

Not only did a walk into my interview feeling confident in my outfit, but the value is unmatched. Some honorable mentions are Eva, for running to check if she could find a shirt I liked in a differing size, while unsuccessful, she brought something back I ended up liking more and wearing today to my interview. Dress pants, nice interview shirt, and dress shoes for$60, what a steal, best value around. The cashier at the front was also amazing, she had a smile on her face, and brightened my evening telling me about the full double rainbow that was outside the store earlier. All the employees interacted with were working hard, and were extremely pleasant. While I was being rung up, a line of 2-3 were gathering. There were two more employees behind the register (one my have been training) I did notice they didn't seem in a hurry to clear the line, almost waiting for the cashier Elisa to do all the transactions. The employee behind the counter did eventually turn around and pull somebody from the line. Love the value, love the quality, and appreciated the friendly staff :))

I was next in line and she looks right at me knowing when she finished with the current customer at her register that I was going to be next. She purposely made up something so I would not be waited on by her. If you are prejudice learn how to cope or don't work in retail. I'm black and she was white. It was too obvious and she knows it. With a long drive ahead early the next morning and a one-year-old traveling with us, this immediately became a stressful situation. In South Orange County, most tire service locations close early. After being turned away by Costco, I made my way to Walmart, one of the only places still open. Although I did not have an appointment, I explained the urgency of my situation and how important it was for my family to be on the road by 6:00 AM the next morning. That's when I met Ruben. Around 7:00 PM, Ruben took the time to help me, patching my tire and ensuring my vehicle was safe for the trip. He went above and beyond what I would expect from any employee. He showed genuine care, urgency, and professionalism not because he had to, but because he wanted to help. I even offered him a gratuity, which he kindly declined. He simply helped because I was a father trying to take his family on an important trip. Because of Ruben, my family was able to make that drive safely and enjoy a truly special weekend celebrating my daughter's first birthday. It meant everything to us. Ruben is an outstanding individual and a true example of what great customer service looks like. Experiences like this are rare, and they are exactly why we continue to shop at Walmart. Saw this vendor at Fanime this past weekend and unfortunately had a negative experience…read more Not only were many of their Pokémon cards priced above current market value, but they also charged sales tax on top of already inflated prices. A few attendees also inquired about trades and were offered around 80% trade value, which is fair for a convention setting. BUT they charged tax during trades, making the effective trade value/percentage even worse. (so that $100 ETB you wanted to trade for was actually $110) These kinds of business practices feel overly greedy and are disappointing to see in the Pokémon community. There are plenty of other vendors and card shops at conventions who price more fairly, offer better trade rates, and treat customers with more respect. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere when possible
