I came in here to look for a ponytail bands and found more than I could ever dream of! Every size and color and design to make your hair look so pretty. I did self check out which was super easy. I really like the store. They have everything from dishwashing detergent to candy, don't get those items confused! They also have fun gag gifts like Whoopie cushions

I'm so happy a Daiso opened close to me so I can buy all these household items and cute things at an affordable price. Even though everything is priced low, I always come out buying a lot of things!

It is nice to have a Daiso near home. The store is bright and always stocked with many daily household gadget and items. We come by to pickup some Japanese snacks and would usually end up shopping around for some miscellaneous items. Items are priced based on the sticker price in Japanese yen. You can find the conversion charts posted around the store. The staff is usually walking around to restock and clean the store. They always remind us that the purchases are not refundable.

Wow this place is so cute! They have spectacular prices! When I first walked in the door I was greeted with a warm smile and a welcome in by a man with curly hair and a cool unique name . The service was excellent! The selection was way more than I expected! I totally recommend this place to find hidden gems and great price & excellent service!

I love Daiso. I always spend at least an hour or two when I go to the Daiso stores in Seoul, Korea or Singapore. This new Daiso is cute and very clean. It is so well organized. They have a lot of little things in there that I can get lost in there for hours looking at their stuff. :) Their staff is very polite.

After having lunch at Marugame Udon, we stopped by the nearby Daiso Japan in Aliso Viejo. It's a new store, and everything looked fresh and well-organized. The space was clean and easy to browse. My kids had a great time exploring all the fun items even though we didn't buy anything this time. It was still a nice visit.

Daiso is now open in Aliso Viejo. I stopped by this morning as the first 100 people to spend $30 received a free tote bag with goodies inside. The store was quite large and clean. There are a lot of items to peruse. They sell ceramics, small home goods, Asian snacks, stickers, gift wrap, accessories, and more. Everything is priced very cheaply as Daiso is considered a "dollar"-type store. My husband and I picked up some more ceramic bowls, tongs, a phone strap, gummy candy, a small collapsible plastic bowl, and a grill plate. We checked out at $31 so we received the Daiso Aliso Viejo tote bag with Daiso goodies. Mission accomplished. Welcome to the neighborhood, Daiso!

Went in yesterday and I got a lot of stuff from them. I wasn't planning on getting anything but I guess I could not say no to Japanese snacks. This store is still new and I love how it was so spacious and organized. The store was clean and bright. Would love to come back next week to see more kawaii stuff

    Daiso AV is now open!

Items with price tags are priced above that price. Items from dollar tree and target dollar spot. The pricing is also so inconsistent. I asked once who prices the items and was told exactly what I thought... it's done randomly. Except clothing. I was told clothing goes to the HB store to be priced. I would prefer to support thrift stores who offer fair pricing and will most likely limit my time here. The staff is not very friendly or helpful and spend the majority of their time chatting with each other near the self checkout stands. One positive is you receive a 20% coupon if you donate. I do wish more thrift stores did that.

During this visit, however, I felt extremely uncomfortable because one of the employees appeared to be following me throughout the store. Every aisle I entered, he would come into the same aisle and continue watching me. After noticing this happen repeatedly, I even approached him and said, "I feel like you're watching me and following me into every aisle, and I don't understand why." Unfortunately, his behavior continued. As a regular customer who pays for my purchases every time, I found this treatment embarrassing and upsetting. It made me feel as though I was being suspected of stealing or doing something wrong without any reason. I've never experienced this kind of treatment at this location before, and it left me feeling harassed rather than welcomed as a customer. Honestly, instead of making loyal customers feel like they're under suspicion, employees should focus on providing respectful customer service. I hope this matter is addressed so that no one else has to experience the same discomfort.

My cousin purchased a phone case, and as we were walking out after paying, we noticed some squishies near the exit. We briefly squeezed them and continued walking out. The manager immediately looked at our hands as if she suspected we were stealing, despite the fact that she was standing right in front of us and had watched us pay for our purchase. It was extremely uncomfortable and made us feel like we were being treated as criminals for absolutely no reason. Then, once we got into the car, my cousin realized that she had accidentally purchased the wrong size phone case. Since it was only around 9:20 PM, she wanted to quickly go back inside to exchange it. Instead of simply helping her with the exchange, the manager immediately started yelling at my aunt and cousin, insisting that they were closed, even though the posted closing time was 9:30 PM. This caused my aunt to become upset and yell back. What made the situation even worse was the manager's attitude throughout the entire interaction. She had the nerve to yell at my aunt and then, when my aunt told her that she was going to leave a bad review because of her behavior, the manager essentially laughed about it with her employee. She was clearly not embarrassed or concerned about how she had treated us. If anything, she seemed to be mocking the fact that a customer was upset enough to complain. The employee working there clearly seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed by the situation and appeared to feel bad about the way his manager was treating us. He was put in an extremely awkward position because of her behavior. I completely understand that employees want to leave on time and that closing procedures take time. However, there is absolutely no reason to yell at customers, treat them like they are stealing, or mock them for expressing that they are unhappy with the service they received. The entire interaction was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I have never experienced customer service this rude at this location, and based on the manager's reaction to being told that a bad review would be left, it seems like she genuinely does not care how she treats customers. I hope management above her takes this complaint seriously and addresses her behavior because clearly she's a huge PROBLEM!

My husband and I ended up coming to this Five Below because we needed a second charger cable since I only had one in my car and his phone battery was at 20%. We walked in around 6:15 pm and were greeted by the 2 employees at the register. We walked towards the back of the store and found all of the many charger cables. He ended up purchasing 2 cables since he had complained that the cable I have in the car was too slow. My husband also ended up pick up a wireless battery bank (but the charge was slow so my husband ended up returning it to a Five Below location near our home in San Gabriel Valley and had no trouble returning it with a receipt). I also ended up picking up a few things too. Right when I first walked in, I saw these cute dog pens and this dog shaped tape dispenser. Being that both were pretty cheap I decided to get both (now did I need any of these items? No but I got them anyway, lol. Five Below reminds me of the Dollar Spot at Target and Daiso where there are just so many things that I didn't realize that I wanted until I saw them...). Later on when we picked the items we wanted to pay, we went back to the front of the store to pay for those items. To pay, it was all self check out registers. We were able to ring ourselves up but we did see a family that had some trouble and needed assistance from a employee. Although we did not have trouble going through the self check out, we did see a male employee at a register who was on his phone. My husband asked him if he was open and he said 'you have to use the self check out' and then went back to his phone ... I think that is pretty poor customer service, as you show to the customer that you do not want to lift a finger to help, especially when there was no line and the store was clearly not busy... (sorry but young people today....). But overall, we were able to find the items we needed (and more) and had a positive visit. If I lived in this area, I would most likely be a regular.
