I don't remember much other than it was lots of junk that I had no use for. These days the store is a bargain hunter's dream. I was able to come to this store and do most of my Christmas shopping. I bought gifts for kids ranging from infant to eight, gifts for adults and a couple of home decor items. Despite the large quantity of items, my bill was very reasonable. Here are some of the items you should come for: Stuffed animals - Webkins for $2 Kid toys - $20 for items that are $40-50 at other stores Small electronics - If you have an older Iphone, they had a boatload of accessories. Furniture - Desks and small couches Home decor - Expensive looking mirrors and other decorative items. The store was packed, but the lines to pay moved smoothly. The parking lot is a bit tricky to get in and out of. And parking is at a premium in this small shopping strip. I was a little surprised that in upscale Mandeville this shop is looking a little tired, even more so than my usual location on Airline. But they did have lamps galore...the only one that really tempted me was a robin's egg blue lamp and the brand? From the Olsen twins! How crazy is that? Was promised points on my account when hidden damage was observed on a piece of furniture after it…read more was loaded onto my vehicle. The "manager", Sarah. Saw it and said she would put points on me card because of the damage. I asked how many points ts it would be and was told it would be ten. I asked if that would be ten dollars and she said no. Every point was worth ten dollars. I said that would be 100 dollars then and she said yes. If these poi ts had not been promised I would have asked for a refund. They have not been added to my account. When I went to the cashier on a subsequent trip, I didn't even have ten dollars.to use I asked for Sarah and was told she wasn't there but she was called. She said I had .misunderstood her about the value of the points. My husband and I both heard her promise 100 in points. We are both competent people who understand the English language language. Saying I misunderstood was insulting. I attempted to complain via email to her supervisor but it was intercepted by Sarah by Sarah. She responded with the same claim that I misunderstood her. I have not been there since then. They have lost a customer of yarn years because of this manager.

I got a cute top to to wear with leggings for $3. They have a small room in the back that is called the vintage room. There were a few, nice pieces but they were all very small sizes. They were okay prices but maybe a smidge high for thrifting. That selection was a little disappointing but maybe it's better on other days. They had a big table of Dunkin' Donuts bagged coffee and pods at really good prices but it was all pumpkin spice which really isn't my thing but if it's yours, you should head over (this is as of 2/4/23)! I may visit again and check if they sometimes get in other flavors. Have cash on-hand or be prepared to pay an additional 4% fee to use a debit or credit card. The store isn't that big and I was there on a Saturday, so it was rather crowded and I had to stand in line about 10-15 minutes because there was only one register. That's not a complaint because this is a small, charity thrift store. I bet the 2 or 3 ladies I saw who appeared to being working there are volunteers. I just want to people you know what to expect, so of you are in a big hurry, you may want to skip going until you have a little more time. The neighborhood in Mandeville where it's located is a walkable area with a couple of restaurants right down the street, The Rusty Pelican and Hambone. Free public parking lot is directly across the street from Gran's if you can't find a spot on the street. If you like thrifting, you should check out Gran's if you are in the neighborhood.

I love Redoux, as I can always find something unique to buy for myself or as a gift. Most gifts…read morethat I give come from this store. Lately I have found that the two ladies who work there are less than helpful or friendly. They act like you are bothering them. Also, Redoux always did free wrapping for you in a white bag with some tissue paper, nothing fancy. Now they charge 2.50 per gift. I totally understand that with the cost of supplies. I asked the lady with gray hair at the register if I could at least get the Redoux sticker to put on my own white gift bag and she told me it would be 2.50 for the small sticker. I explained I liked for the person to know that the store is wonderful so it might encourage them to shop there. I wasn't looking for a freebie but a way to advertise their business. Oh well, I will continue to shop there to support local, but the customer service could use some improvement.

I found an item I liked that said it was part of a set but one of the pieces was missing, I proceeded to the register to pay and asked if the price would be different since half of it was missing and a nearby worker assured me it would. however the cashier I got refused to answer me when I asked her about it several times and did not adjust the price. she was very unfriendly and merely stared at me until I payed and left.... later on I went to Slidell location and was double charged for a shirt I bought for my husband that I didn't notice until I got home. I called the store to verify if I needed to come all the way back to Slidell to correct this and was told I could go to any location as long as I brought the items and reciept with me. After going to mandeville location earlier and having issues I didn't really want to return there but it's so much closer to my home so I did anyways. upon entry I asked a woman that was by the door if i was in the right place for this and she very gruffly said ' there's one line for everything' after ignoring my attempts to get her attention for several minutes. after waiting in line and getting to the register I noticed she had been watching me with a sour expression on her face the whole time I was in line. and once I got the the register she was glaring at me and rushed over to stop the employees from helping me with my refund. Having realized she was the manager I asked why she stopped them and was told they need to see the digital reciept ... I had already given the paper one and the items and asked why and was told that she needed to see the cameras before issuing the refund. she was incredibly rude about this whole process and completely unprofessional! she was scolding employees in font of customers and you could tell they were so uncomfortable!! they were just doing their job! it's so sad to see workers treated so badly and that the company doesn't care enough to get management that cares about the customers at all! I will also note that the woman in front of me in line had a similar issue and this terrible woman didn't even glance her way! I was merely singled out because I asked her if i was in the right line! will not be returning!!

There are also some parrots and such who are inside birds. In addition to the grounds, there is a large studio suitable for house concerts or art classes. I think it would also be suitable for a small wedding or reception.
