Earlier today, I bought an item here, but the manager didn't put it in my bag. I came back about 30 minutes later with my receipt and explained that I was just there to pick up the one missing item. What made this experience frustrating is that the cashiers are usually very nice, which is why this stood out so much. Today around 11:40 am, I had the rudest encounter. The cashier had her headphones in, was dismissive, and told me she was the only one ringing customers at the time--which wasn't true. Because of that, they refused to give me the item I had already paid for. I was willing to pay for another one just to avoid any issues, but being lied to directly was really upsetting and unnecessary. This could have been handled so easily with honesty and basic customer service. Very disappointing experience compared to how this store usually is. read more

I think I can confidently say this is the worst Dollar Tree to attempt to shop from. The shelves are completely bare, the store is a disastrous mess, and it seems as though all the stuff worth buying has already been bought. This particular Dollar tree is clearly smaller than others and could definitely use a facelift of some sort. Dingy would be the best way to describe it but is it possibly due to wear and tear?? 1 star. I wouldn't waste my time and gas coming here, the likelihood of them carrying what I'm in need of is slim. read more

Will not recommend store due to bad experience. The Assistant manager Delia swept garbage from the floor toward me, my wife, and my two year old daughter three times after we moved out the way in the toy aisle and she continuously yelled at us to "move!" When I went to complain to Matthew, she came over and shoved me while I was standing at the register with Matthew where Matthew saw the incident. She walked away and said to me, "I heard you!" I'm not afraid of a bully like Delia who yells and abused her customers both physically and verbally. I will be complaining to corporate. read more

Cashier tried to shortchange my grandma today. We got one item for a total of 1 dollar and some change. My grandma paid with a 5 and the cashier gave her a few coins for change. I was on my phone but half paying attention and after taking a couple steps toward the exit, I ask my grandma if the card she got was $4 and then looked at the reciept. It's clear the cashier knew what they were doing, because by the time we turned around, she had left the checkstand and was nowhere to be found. Not only that, but on the reciept, it said that she paid $2. The only was she could have legitimately thought that we paid $2 is if we paid with a $2 bill as it was a single $5 bill that we paid with. Then when we raised the issue with the other cashier, she gave us the $3 that was as owed without any questions almost like she knew that the other cashier has a tendency to do this sort of thing. read more

The staff here SUCKS! When you asked them where is the item located, they just don't know or have you ask someone else. Instead of doing their jobs, they just chit chat and laughing. When the line is long, why is there only one register open? This is insane! For a dollar store, it's obvious people buy many items. I see more people stocking items than working on the cashier. Relatively nice dollar tree!! The staff is pretty nice. Usually there's a long line here, theyre a bit understaffed so at most theres about 2 cashiers and many customers with lots in their carts. Pretty clean, stocked, and honestly you can find a lot of stuff you wouldnt think of here! I got a treat tray, starter pots for plants, and some cute birthday candles here! My best friend's birthday is tomorrow and I was able to make this cute dessert for him using the candles and tray. It's a little unruly here, but considering they're understaffed, theyre doing pretty well! read more

Parking is rather plentiful and the store has adequate space for your basic household needs and other unrelated items at a much affordable price. There is a Blockbuster (RedBox type) inside the store and I can't get enough of your typical gift wrapping needs; that is why I go to this store. The store is stocked most of the time but it's disorganized, most likely due to the type of customer demographics that come here on a daily or weekly basis.. 2nd time I went here on Saturday after 8. Never follows their store hours. The funny thing was I visited this place a few nights before. Supposedly with 5 minutes before posted closing time, and low and behold, lights were off and door locked. The Dollar Store has EVERYTHING from tupperware, cups, plates, utensil, plastic cups, table cloths, kitchen ware, laundry detergent, bleach, bread, water, juice, candy, gift bags, crayons, coloring books... you get the idea. We like to come and pick up cheap items that we use once at the park or parties we have at home. The store is always messy and not organized but like everyone says "you get what you pay for" and I don't mind it much. Service kinda sucks. The cashiers are not very friendly. Great place to save some of your hard earned money! The store is a little messy, but everything is a dollar so I am not complaining. Long lines can also build up at the registers because there are only ever 1 or 2 open at a time. I always pick up some toiletries (toothpaste, floss, cotton pads), cards, snacks, drinks, wrapping paper, and Christmas decorations because those are the products I can skimp on so I do not have to pay more elsewhere for basically the same thing. They even have helium balloons for purchase in the front of the store which I find is a great deal because those balloons can be $5+ at places like Safeway or Lucky's. I have even seen dollar pregnancy tests in the checkout lines. Curious me might have to try one of those in the future just to see how well they work. read more

I come here every Thursday with my 6 year old cause it early day for him at school and we got a hour to kill till I pick up my 4 year old. I always tell him he can buy anything he wants in the store and he goes straight for the candy. This store has some good stuff for a dollar like school supplies, party supplies cleaning supplies, candies,snacks and lots of other little things to me a lot of the stuff breaks real fast or is cheaply made like the garbage bags I don't get them from the Dollar store cause they alway break when you pull them out the garbage or the little toys if I get one for my kids it will be broke in the car and on the floor the same day but you get what you pay for. Over all the store is good and I save on somethings that cost more at other stores. Also there plenty of parking out side you will never have a hard time finding parking endless you one of those lazy people that need to park right in front. I came here today to look for some inexpensive photo frames for some 4-by-6 photos to display on my desk because I was in the area. It has been a long time since I have been to this store and it has not changed much. The store is one of the smaller Dollar Trees I have been into and probably the messiest one. There was so much disorganized merchandise everywhere in the store. However, for the prices I can live with the disorganization and small store. Customer service on the floor was nonexistent - you are on your own. It was like an adventure in this store. I did find what I was looking for, which was a couple of inexpensive photo frames and a bonus item - a 3 LED flashlight, which is bright when I tried it later in the day. For the prices I paid, I can not beat the store for bargains. Parking in the shared lot is great even with a lot different businesses in this strip mall. When in the area, I will definitely stop by to look for inexpensive merchandise like dish-washing liquid, forks, plates, etc. This store has a great variety and for a dollar each, the price is great! There was only one cashier and a lot of people like myself buying from this store; therefore, the wait to checkout took some patience. I'm upset that this is the only dollar store near my job. I've been in here once to purchase a few balloons for an event and I wanted to scream and pull my hair out that's how bad the service was. The employees are the worst. Do they know they're working retail which means customer service? I understand I'm getting all my items for a dollar but come on! I really love this store. For a college student on a budget-- I always come here for anything from canned foods to birthday gift bags! I always finding spending more money than I should because I buy things I don't need. It's $1 how could I not spend freely? I always come here to buy flashcards for school and long note paper for my waitressing job. Oh, and the balloons here are cheap also! All $1, which is super cheap compared to places like Party City where it could be $3 for a single balloon. During holidays there are so many fun little decoratons! I like that everything is SO CHEAP. Especially for Valentine's Day, I love to celebrate, but it's only one day so at the end of the day, most people toss out everything. So spending a lot of money for different holidays doesn't make sense at all to me. Only presents need a lot of tender loving care ;) I always get birthday cards here too. Before I headed out to Dollar Tree in Milpitas, CA I checked the back of both of my receipts to make sure that I can come in and make a exchange of some wrapping paper that I purchased two days before Christmas. Nothing on the receipts that I have said nothing about no exchange on Holiday items. I went to the store talked to a sales associate and was denied an exchange despite me showing my original receipt. I talked to a store manager named Stephanie and showed her my original receipt and she denied me doing an exchange even though my receipt says nothing about Holiday items. Their store policy has to be clear and they should of been prepared for the holidays but it seems like communication is a problem with Dollar Tree in general. Can''t go wrong with the price. My go to place when I can't get out to wal mart. kitchen supplies, snacks, office supplies. I've bought frozen foods from here since they have a section but please if you do buy food products from here check on the expire date if it has one just to be on the safe side. Since like they say you get what you pay for. Also the have a wide variety of gift bags and if you're like me that don't like to wrap gifts this is where you should go. This is of course a budget friendly place and holiday central! I came by the store recently in need of some holiday supplies. They have tons of gift wrap and many different designs to choose from as well. I also love to come here for the gift bags! They have some really nice gift bags. People will never guess that you got them from the dollar store. If you go to target or walmart a nice gift bag may cost you up to $4-$7. I mean why not just make the trip to the dollar store to save some money. They also have many different items around that you may need for a lot cheaper.
