I feel bad for whoever works here. There was an older, heavier set person behind the door in the corner watching his only cashier ring up the line of about 20 people. I couldn't believe that he wouldn't help. The employee rang everyone up pretty quickly so that was good, but it still took awhile. I get what someone is saying about a sketchy area (not even so much the area maybe people lingering bc there's a laundromat nearby idk) but agree, I do not feel my life is in danger but in regards to the store. They are so quick to change out seasonal & holiday items. They also have great Hallmark greeting cards you would pay at least!!!! $4 more elsewhere. This is my local dollar tree, I've been coming here for years and I've never had an issue. Today I came in about half hour before closing for a quick necessity stop. There was the sweet employee name Zoey who seemed to go to a bathroom break. Then this heavier women (didn't catch her name but I assume is the manager) started yelling out for Zoey extremely loud and harsh when customers were still shopping. When Zoey came back she kindly said sorry and this woman proceeded to say to a customer "sorry sometimes you just have to yell at them" ? What the heck is her problem? I came into the store today with my younger brother (7) and was appalled to hear a worker (seemingly the manager) bad mouthing her for employee without her present. The information I obtained was that the girl she was talking about was late for her shift. I heard this from the back of the store near the cleaning supplies while the manager? Was up front by the registers looking out the window. ... this woman was YELLING. "SHES WASTING MY FREAKING TIME" "YOU CANT JUST SHOW UP FOR WORK WHENEVER THE HELL YOU WANT" "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD SERIOUSLY" She went into the office up front and SLAMMED the door shut. When the girl arrived to work the manager? Came out of her office huffing and puffing. Needless to say this was an embarrassing and crappy shopping experience. Seriously I love the dollar tree! Being a poor college student/waitress they've saved my butt so many times! From chocolate cravings to kitchen utensils they've got it! I love buying just little organization stuff here such as laundry baskets, household cleaners and junk drawer needs! I love that I can get great stocking stuffers for X-mas here and candy for SUPER CHEAP at Halloween. Seriously check it out, you never know what you'll find! read more

The store itself is not bad at all. The surrounding area looks sketchy but I didn't feel in danger of my life at all. This store has cleaned up a lot. Customer's have been a little rude. Dollar Tree has an online return policy, however management at this store will do return for like items, but customers have gotten rude about it. Customers have gotten rude when there's a long line, but you have customers that dig for change, want a return and change mind on purchases and not all customers but some take out on management and cashiers. This location is in a sketchy area. The store's selection of items was sloppy. They didn't have a very big selection of glass vases, decorative stones, or flowers. But fwiw they had tons of ovulation tests next to at home marijuana tests, which I thought was pretty funny and had never seen before. I noticed the lines to pay we're extremely long on my way out. read more

Love this store for home school supplies, gift bags/cards, and cleaning tools. I really like to buy items here that I'd rather throw away and replace frequently, like shower curtain liners and dish brushes. The staff in Norco is pretty friendly, the store is always clean, and parking is good. No complaints! read more

I like coming to the dollar tree to look around. I've been here on several occasions but today was just uncomfortable. I've had no problem even when there is a huge line all the way to the back and having to wait. I don't mind that but when the cashier is not paying any attention to me and talking across to the other cashier and another guy about how she never got a break or a lunch and about how she was at the bar last night and guys being cute. I went in a few days ago. I watched a female customer ask an employee named "Laurie" a question. I guess laurie was really rude to her because the next thing I seen is the customer yelling "You know what, you are the worst and most unprofessional manager I've ever come across.I don't know if the district manager knows you are a bitchy person to everyone. But I hope he finds out.I am never coming back to shop here ever again.Alot of customers in lines watched this happen. I seen laurie moving her head in an attiude way & saying loudly "That's fine!!!!! Don't come back !!! You don't have to!!!". Every customer in line shook their head at her. Laurie pisses every customer off and customers always say to employee register's "How to keep a smile on your faces while she works here?". I think that manager only acts holier than thou because she probably thinks she is "the shit". All she does is yell and give attitude to people.She needs to fired.I won't come back to shop unless she is gone from this location.( Only managers that are cool and nice here when people and I need assistance is Gloria & Stieve!!!! This place is amazing for evryday items where it doesnt matter how fancy it is. The employees there are helpful... at least all but one. The manager matilda or malinda something along those lines is down right rude and degrading to the employees and customers. She was also stocking ice cream and several customers were try to grab something where she was. They had to almost yell at her "excuse me" due to her talking on the phone about personal stuff while working. She then went off to do something else and left the freezer door where she was working open and ice cream sitting in a cart to melt. Me and another customer both noticed the door was still open after 10 minutes and went to close it at the same time. My mom had told me that the last time she was in there she over heard her talking on the phone about how drunk she was the night before and all these plans she had of making breakfast but she was too hungover to do anything. Not very professinal. She walked by an employees checkout and noticed a bag that looked like it may have been a frozen item and instead of asking or looking at it before speaking she rudely yold the employee "ya know if you had told me you had an item to go back to the freezer i would have grabbed it and put it back so it doesnt melt" then decided to grab the back and look at it setting it back down and walkig away(it was dried potatoes im assuming for mashed potatoes or something). So making the employee feel dumb for no reason infront of other customers. Everyone is new at a job at some point they all make mistakes thats how you learn. One cashier forgot to give my mom a dollar back from her change and my mom decided to wait until another customer with cash went through so she didnt have to call the rude manager over to unlock the till. The manager noticed my mom just standing there however and asked if she needed something or would she just proceed to be in the way. My mom told her why she was there the manager looked at the cashier rolled her eyes made some comment about giguring it out and walked away. This place gets 2 stars because of her otherwise its as youd expect. Its nothing fancy or neatly kept its a dollar general not target. read more

I should have done my research and just a heads up; if you order from them, make sure you will like it as there is a no return policy. They won't even return with a store credit. I would even pay the shipping for the return but that was not and option. So if you like their items this would be a great company but if you don't, you are stuck with the item. I love this store! Lots of good values of hundreds of items. Where can you get a nice card for any occasion for 50 cents? Here!! The store is relatively clean and orderly, the staff is friendly. I literally have saved hundreds of dollars over the course of time by shopping here. This location is my favorite Dollar Tree in the area. read more
