This location is especially great. I come here often, and the supervisor Hope is always so friendly and welcoming. She recognizes me as a regular, greets me every time, and is genuinely kind. Hope is great at her job. She is able to fix any issues that take place and is really good at fixing any issues with prices at the register. They truly have just about everything you could possibly need or want. Definitely a go-to spot for great finds and even better deals.

I know what you're thinking, the quality is trash, but you'd be wrong. We did some research on what we bought and whether there are any additives and it checks out. I can't say that this is the case for all items, but worth a try to save some mula. This store looks like it's well taken care of. It's clean, organized and the staff here are great. This store is literally racist…read more I went there to pick up an online order. My order was missing two items that were on the shelf. The employee called the manager. First, I was expected to take it without the items I paid for online. Then, the manager cancelled and took back my entire order because I wanted the two items to be added to it (they were paid for and under the same item code as the ones in my order). Prior to cancelling the order, she would not allow the person I entered the store with to hold my order (despite me having paid for it) which we feel was racially inclined. She started to ring out the items after cancelling the order, and wanted me to pay again. Afterwards, she refused to refund the person (I came in with) for a defective item (which was bought the prior day and had scratches that weren't noticed till opening the box). She said she could not help, and claimed there were no scratches. There was a receipt showing yesterday's date. She spoke very rude, and kept saying she would not help. This was even more horrifying considering that she only cancelled my entire order after taking it from him. She was openly uncomfortable around someone black, and she refused to process a return for an item with a valid receipt per Five Below policy.

In addition to manufacturers coupons, you can stack store coupons or sale pricing too. Combine these savings with the bonus Saturday only $5 of $25 digital coupon in their app and you can score many household products from laundry supplies, household cleaning supplies, shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste for awesome prices. This dollar general is closest to my house and even though I only shop the weekly "household deals" the store is well stocked with many different types of items, is organized well, and the staff is pleasant.

This review will be my opinion on the Dollar General stores as a whole and not just a reflection on…read morethis location. I'm not a fan of the concept of "Dollar" General because in my opinion putting the word Dollar in your store name insinuates that it is in fact a "dollar store" and with Dollar General (as well as Family Dollar) this is simply not the case. In fact there are very few things that cost $1.00, if any. This location is convenient to my home and in a pinch I will stop in to grab something I need quick, but overall I try to avoid it. Not only are there few to no items that are $1.00 the items that are not $1.00 always seem to be overpriced in my opinion. The tape measure or dish towel that is $1.00 at Dollar Tree is of the exact same quality of the se items available at Dollar General, yet at Dollar General they are easily 3 to 5 times the price. When this specific location was a Benny's store a few years back I didn't mind paying a little extra to a local owned and family run business who was selling a decent quality product at a competitive price. This new model of faux dollar stores seems to be selling the same low quality items as the true dollar stores, except selling them for the prices of a higher quality item at a regular store. It's for this reason thst I do my best to avoid Dollar General (and Family Dollar) stores. Use your own judgement and decide for yourself, but as I said, when necessity strikes I will grab something at the Dollar General. Thanks for reading!!
