Work potluck coming up and I'm serving soup so I needed some bowls and spoons. There is a 'catering' section which had small and then large bowls. I was trying to find some which didn't make the cost a lot since I needed a bunch. I chose some and then looked around. Decided to see if Tupperware was more affordable so people could take food home as well. I found some other soup bowls which were a better value and got those instead. For a dollar tree it is decent. My neighbor keeps mentioning to shop here because she finds some fun toys for her boy. So I thought I'd check it out. Since I only had a few items in mind, it was an in and out shopping experience. They did have some Fpurth of July decorations and summer items as you walk in. Can get distracted and I have to be careful when going to these sort of shops because I buy more than I need. Bought a hairbrush for my fur baby since h hates the brush with hard bristles. And also toothpaste to save me a trip. Which I was pleasantly surprised they had brand name. After I found what I needed headed straight to register. Why is it everywhere you go they ask if I need a bag? Good thing I have a few sitting in my car just for these occasions. I'd stop by again if in the area. read more

This store, like many, has been having difficulties retaining employees. As a result, the store is under stocked and very messy. Yesterday my husband (and numerous other shoppers) was turned away by an employee who said they didn't have enough employees for a register. I dislike the access to the store, with steps down to the doors (which are not automatic), or a ramp. It's not very accessible. The handicapped parking seems far from the front doors. This is the only Dollar Tree in Parker. I'll be shopping at other locations. read more

The staff at this dollar try are what you'd expect they give minimum-medium effort in helping consumers. The selection there isn't extremely large but is good for only 1.25! The deals they provide are exceptional for the quality. Most of the employees will try to help if you ask them. I will be returning this dollar tree in the future not for the service but for the deals. read more

The inventory is awesome. What you say do they have? Well everything for that party you're about to throw. Table decorations, serving utensils, plates, cups, you name it and they have it at a great price. Ken gave us excellent service. This Dollar Tree is located in the vicinity of Parker Center strip mall. That recent visit was on Saturday February 8th 2014. Time was about 15:40hrs ish. Since there are other establishments such as the GOODWILL, Rocky Mountain Guns and Ammo, The UPS Store and Walton Donuts to name a few in this strip mall, PARKING can be a little nightmare-ish. I get it dollar tree and you don't pay your workers enough to give a crap, but the manager should get some training on how to run their store. Today there was a long line all the way down the isle between only one cashier was working. There were 2 girls standing behind another register talking. Several customers walked up to them and were told they were not open. When one asked why, they were told they didn't have a drawer. So everyone that had time waited while a few that were in a hurry left without making their purchase. When I checked out, I asked the cashier why he was the only one working and was told the other cashier had signed out. (Do the managers not know how to run registers? If not, u should think about doing some cross training so the girls who were standing there could help). Just as I was paying, another worker came up to the mirrored office window and yelled "can I go?" And someone yelled back "yes". So that means the manager was sitting in there watching the line but couldn't be bothered to give his staff help or a solution. read more

We're new here and this was my first visit to this location. It wasn't pretty on the inside or out (it looks like they just moved into an empty space and haven't decorated or finished the walls yet). However, it had everything a normal Dollar Tree has, the shelves were well stocked and although their was only 1 cashier with a long line and she was slow, she was very nice and seemed to know many of the customers personally and took a genuine interest in them, like a cute small-town feel. read more

It's the Dollar Tree and I left happy! I don't go in with much expectation when I shop here but had the best experience tonight. When I got to the register the lady asked if I found everything I needed and when I replied not actually. She asked what I was looking for and I told her. Another employee actually spoke up and said they had it in the back. She then immediately went to get it and put it on the floor. I've never had such great customer service at a Dollar Tree before and will definitely be back. Happy Thursday Facebook! Not one to usually complain but have to say something about the dollar tree in Parker. Worst customer service every. I went in today to pick some balloons up and the gentleman said his name is Joe but on receipt says Elmer tells me we blew some up this morning just go find what you want. Which I've been told before by the manager Tina who is a b****. She saw me and said she always wants new ones. The reason is because usually the ones that they've blown up on the floor don't float. So I go with a line behind me to try to find some balloons that float. Found 3 but a few hit the ground. Brought those up to the register. Needed a couple more Joe or Elmer argued with me about blowing them saying they had them on the floor and I said yes they are on the floor! Finally he was going to blow them up but didn't have any. Dude it's Dollar Tree. Get over yourself. They have Halloween decorations for a dollar. Same ones that Walmart has for five to ten dollars. It's the only place in town that has Musketeer minis in the candy section. They also have owl doo-dads in the fall decorations. You get random brand name surprises in the skin care and shampoo aisle. White Rain is a constant, but if you see discontinued Suave you better stock up boy cuz it's gonna run out!!! This store is small enough to find what you need without much assistance. The cashiers have always been really friendly with me. Of course if their heads spun around and they spat on me I would still shop here cuz it's Dollar Tree!!! read more

The store was pretty clean and well kept, but when I was ready to check out, the sales associates all seem to hate their job. My wife had a terrible experience tonight at the Dollar Tree in Parker, CO: "The store manager at the Parker Dollar Store yelled "Mother F'r" at a male customer right in front of my young daughter, her friend, and me! The customer dropped his basket and walked out. When I talked to him about it, I told him that he should NOT raise his voice or use that language in front of young girls. He replied "I stand by what I said!" This is totally unacceptable, this frightened my daughter and her friend, and I want every other parent in Parker to know this happened. It was a threatening environment at a family store where a lot of young kids go by themselves, especially because this man is large, about 6'3" and has a very loud voice. I don't know his name, but he was acting manager at 9:00 pm Friday night July 15, 2016. My friend and I fill boxes for our deployed military every year and needed more items to fill the boxes. I notified the cashier when we walked in we would have a large order so we didn't interrupt their other customers. JOHNATHAN was our cashier and he was the worst! We tried hard to make the checkout process easier for him but he just continued to huff and puff like we were the biggest inconvenience of the year. I love coming to Dollar Tree to find cheap items to use for DIY projects around the house. Whenever I go in (doesn't matter the day or time), there never seems to be more than one lane open! The checkout is super slow and all the employees seem less than excited about their job. I'll continue to come here, I just hope the next visit is better. read more

Let me tell you about Lynda. She's a really mean person. Mean enough that my 3 year old apologized to his mom, while she was crying, for how mean Lynda was. Lynda told my wife she was a bad parent, she needed to "train her kids better", and that Lynda's four boys never did anything like that. Lynda also asked her manager to call the police on me because she didn't want to talk about it and that her customers didn't really matter to her. Don't be like Lynda. She's a bad employee. This dollar tree was incredibly rude. I left the store in tears. I usually come here to get some things to make crafts with my kids for the week. I've been going to this exact dollar tree for 2 years now. They are completely intolerable to kids. They've given me rude looks before when I let my 11 yr old and 5 yr old grab things for a craft project while i was an isle over looking for things for a baby shower. BUT TODAY WAS THE WORST IT HAS EVER BEEN. I went in to get a few things today and when I went to check out my 2 yr old son went straight for the "giant lollipop" dollar tree has strategically placed for kids to reach for on the bottom shelf of the checkout line. After he picked up the lollipop I told him to put it down and while doing so the lollipop broke. The cashier looked at me and said "You'lll be buying that now" and put it on the belt with the things I had already planned to buy. When she was ringing me up I figured "okay, fine i'll buy it. it is broken". But I decided to tell her "If you placed the lollipops higher kids wouldn't be able to reach them and you wouldn't 'have so any broken lollipops' (as she had already previously stated 15 lollipops had broken because of children). She replied irritated " If you trained your kids better they wouldn't touch them!" I have never in my life felt more belittled by a complete stranger! She told me it was company mandated to put the lollipops there so the store wouldn't change where they were placed, but that i needed to "train" my kids better... I felt like she was attacking my character as a mother and speaking about my children like they were animals. I will not be coming back to this dollar tree until this lady is gone.
