So bam... I went to Dollar Tree like I normally do because it's honestly one of my favorite ones. It's one of the smaller locations, but it's super convenient and usually my go-to. Soon as I walked in though, I noticed the line was literally ALL the way to the back of the store down the beauty aisle I'm sitting there like... "Are they giving away free money in here or something?" because I have NEVER seen it that bad before. On top of that, chirren were running around unattended like it was recess. Then what really got me was it was around 5 PM and there were boxes EVERYWHERE. And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE. I'm guessing the night shift hadn't stocked yet, but trying to maneuver through those aisles was frustrating. It was basically me sliding sideways between people and boxes trying to shop. I couldn't find my normal items, so I asked one worker for help, but baby she had both AirPods in and acted like I was invisible So I asked another employee that was stocking, and she actually stopped what she was doing to help me, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, we still couldn't find the item. Big bummer. At that point I was just walking around hoping the line would magically get shorter. Spoiler alert: it did not. By the time I finally got in line, it was still wrapped halfway through the aisle. Then FINALLY somebody must've said, "Hey... maybe we should open another register." Well duh I jumped into that line and eventually checked out, but for me to only have a few items that fit in ONE bag and still spend that much time in there? Crazy work. I'm giving a fairly low score this time because the whole experience felt like pure chaos. Hopefully it was just an off day because this is normally one of my favorite Dollar Trees. read more

This location is one of the best I've been to thus far. It might be the exact size as most but when you walk in, it feels bigger, more open. There aren't huge piles of merchandise blocking walkways, making it hard to see the shelves. I'm not really liking how the prices are all over the place. There's not much clarity on how much anything is. We went from $1.25 to $1.50 seemingly overnight and now most things are $2 with many items hanging from $5 to $20. It's almost as if the Dollar Tree is now the Dollar General. read more

I also want to commend the employee who helped me with my purchase. I bought some glass items, and they carefully packed them in a box to ensure they were secure and safe. This is a very nice dollar tree. It is well-kept and clean. While I was here today, they had a power outage while I was in the checkout line. The manager promptly came to the checker, and it took her about 10 minutes because the power was going on and off. Both the employee and the manager kept their cool and never showed signs of frustration, while they were trying to hurry as quickly as they could, that truly takes skill because they had quite a line of probably 15 people. While in the store, I picked up several items that were helpful. I got a new sign for my door that says welcome for five dollars, I got some Pokémon cards for five dollars. I got a new headband with a bow for my granddaughter for $1.25 and a stuffed animal for my grandson for $1.25. Those are just a few of the bargains I found today . I highly recommend this dollar tree. It's a fun place to walk around when you have nothing better to do. You just never know what you're gonna find! read more

Dollar Tree is the place where you can find some cool party stuff, holiday/seasonal decorations, cleaning supplies, etc. I personally don't want to spend a fortune to decorate for a holiday or for gift bags that people will throw away. I was happy to see that they opened a store in east Round Rock. It will be very convenient for those who live east. Extra star for that since I normally give chain stores/businesses the standard three star for great. The workers were very pleasant and I have to say that the store was very organized. That could be since they just opened. Parking was easy to find. I can definitely tell that this place will get busy. There were people constantly coming in to shop. The grand opening of the store is scheduled for tomorrow, 7/28/2018. I hope this store can stay organized as it was today. read more

I can always find the holiday deck supplies I need, e g St Patrick's Day, St. Valentine's, Easter day, birthday balloons. Everyday use supplies and everything's a dollar! Staff is friendly and the store is in order and clean. read more

This is by far one of the most organized Dollar Tree's I have been to. The isles were clean and the items within the store were neatly stacked on the appropriate shelves. In addition, the cashier was both professional and personable at check out. read more

I wish I knew the manager's name because anytime he's working the store is clean & it's a pleasant shopping experience from start to finish. He's always happy to help with any questions, and wants to make sure you find what you need if they have it. I've been to other DT's around this local area, and this one is by far the best. Honestly, I love Dollar Tree! This is my favorite area Dollar Tree out of those I've had the pleasure of visiting. It seems like there's always something new, especially in their ever-expanding craft section. The employees here work so hard stocking, organizing, and quickly checking out customers. They're also very careful about bagging my items, including the delicate faux flowers I find there that I use to make wreaths for my bow and wreath business. Okay it's super weird to me that I'm reviewing a dollar store and even weirder to me than I'm giving it 5 stars but I had to tell you! I've been into this one 5 times and I've never been more impressed with a staff. I usually leave the dollar tree stressed out and wondering how some people can have a job. But here it amazes me every time how calm and friendly they are. I don't know if they have different training or what but it's night and day! I even had one staff member suggest I buy my balloons then they would blow them up right before I arrive so they were fresh. Like really? Wow! I'm spending $5 on balloons and you care enough to go out of your way by writing a note and setting my balloons aside. Mind blown! Well today I forgot my debit card and was short on cash, while trying to figure out what I could keep the guy behind the register was so kind and understanding. The line was building, he calmly called for register backup and consoled me saying it happens more than you think and that it's all okay. I don't know where they found these people but dang, it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to service, they certainly have done that and more. read more

This dollar tree is the absolute best I've ever been to! It is almost spotless and everything is in its place (which isn't common for most dollar trees I've been to). The employees are extremely nice and always in the best mood. I drive past 2 other dollar stores just to go to this one! read more
