I went to this location today (12/22/2020) and there was a man that was not wearing a mask. I asked one of the employees if they could please ask him to wear one and they said, "management does not allow us to ask customers to wear masks." This one is terrible!!! It's just like a mish mash of random stuff. The drinks are all mixed up, the noodles and canned foods are all mixed up. Toiletries are in 2 aisles but certain product is appearing in both aisles. There's always only 1 cashier, it's either that young girl or the older woman Rosy, and the line is a mile long and takes half an hour to buy 1 thing. This is exactly what you'd expect from the Mickey Mouse en la Mañana city's Dollar Tree, you can tell everyone here is half awake. My wife and I stopped by this Dollar Tree store because she wanted to buy some birthday cards. We were in the area so it was just convenient for us. They only had one cashier working so the checkout line was long when we walked inside. We parked in the public parking lot across the street which was almost filled up. The store is very out of date and wasn't organized well. My wife found the birthday card area but they didn't have much. This dollar store was not bad at all. They already have Halloween decorations up and other accessories. We stopped by looking for birthday themed decorations, bags, etc. The store was well organized and I found other items that I needed along the way. Dollar stores offer gift cards for a lot of different places, it really is a one stop shop for gifting needs. Only one cashier on the floor but the line was not long and we were assisted pretty quickly otherwise. For those of you in the Sylmar/ San Fernando area, we all know that famous dollar tree on the corners of San Fernando and Brand. It's literally been there forever. Overtime it's been progressively getting worse and worse and today this is how just one of the Isles look. These pictures do not do any justice. The staff I've met there is amazing. I've been coming here since I was a kid and they've never once been rude to me. My only issue is the customers. Very nasty for a discount store Me and two of my friends just got out of class and headed to the dollar tree to go and buy some "Gamer food" which is just doritos and soda. We also like to walk around the store as we know they restock every Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately this was also the day only two employees (it was about 12 or 1 in the afternoon) were working meaning they would get very suspicious beacuse we were taking our time looking at some cheap toys to buy or off brand foods to eat and they couldn't see us everywere we go.While we were walking we went to the one corner of the store because its more quiet to look at what we were going to buy. I was pooking through my backpack for my wallet because it was my turn to pay for the day.But i made a mistake of leaning my backpack on a base to look for my wallet and so my friend looked through their backpacks as they saw i couldn't find my wallet so when the other worker who was working with the best cashier at the store Karla passed by she instantly assumed we were shoplifting. She yells at us with a almost indian accsent and looks through our backpack. So today September 4 around 7:50-8pm I walked in and the first thing I hear is one of the employees scream at at customer telling to stop and leave what she didn't want in its place(screaming at her) the lady got scared and put her head down and to mention the customer was and elderly lady.
