Really nice staff here, They don't have finger nail clippers…read moreor other grooming kits. Which is strange for a travel store. The prices are marked up some due to being inside the airport so understand that. They are part of the book program though where buy a book and if you have the receipt you can get money back on your next book. So if your a frequent flyer you should look into this option. They do have glasses and such which is helpful if you need something quick. Cute maine odds and ends also which are nice. Agin if you can buy them out of security just because it will be cheaper most times. Sometimes they do have sales on though so check and see what they are offering. You can buy and donate items to service men. I recommend the beef jerky if you do it. All in all if your pinch they will do. Always check in for sales if you have time.

When I asked the clerks what the name of the store is - they told me it's a "Paradies Shop" - which is the company that runs it. In any case, this store carries cold bottled water and sodas, snacks, toiletries, books, magazines, newspapers, and tourist knick-knacks. I picked up some cold bottled water here after passing through the TSA security checkpoint.

Plenty of parking on both sides of the store. Parking lot is dirty but again, it's a cheap store, not a mall store. I come here for items I do not want to pay top dollar for: plastic bags for food storage, yard decor, party decorations, helium filled balloons, reader glasses, dishwasher tabs, etc I can keep going. Not a fan of the larger priced items, it's like they are trying to be like The Dollar Store. Glad they keep those items together to avoid confusion. I wanted to name a young man I have encountered at this location several times because he maintains his goodness even when the line is down an aisle and he's the lone man taking care of us. His name is Jacob. I commented on his positive disposition and kindness shown to elderly and the children he encounters. Meanwhile other staff are working on stocking shelves and manager is no where to be seen. He said it's OK as long as he can keep the line moving people are satisfied. I will continue to come here and hope to see Jacob again. The older woman who works the cashier position is also very nice under circumstances with pressure.

Decided to purchase some baby items and when I got home had some second thoughts and decided to make a large return and only kept a few items. One of the items did not have a tag on it but was purchased with the rest of the other things I returned. So as the cashier was trying to figure out the return, the manager MAXINE steps in. Her tone of voice and body language towards me was extremely awful and rude. She clearly made the insinuation that I had stolen the item because apparently there is no way to prove that I had purchased it at a TJMaxx store. I'm a customer that serves in the US Army and works full time for the largest hospital in the state... I don't have to steal from a store like this nor am I going to tolerate an individual like MAXINE making the assumption that I would do something like that. So whatever you do... steer clear of MAXINE and watch your cashiers very closely!!!!

Marden's has been a Maine staple for such a long time. If you grew up in Maine or been here long…read moreenough you likely have heard or seen their famous jingle and/or could even remember the "Marden's Lady". Over the years I have visited quite a large portion of the Marden's stores. I will say I believe this is one of the better locations and one of the largest I think. For selection I would say this location has such a huge variety of everything you could imagine plus so many items you wouldn't expect! You will go in looking to buy say a pair of socks or a rug and wind up walking out with a hammer, garden hose, snacks, and who knows what else. Along with the variety you can definitely find deals that are cheaper than anywhere else. I've found you can find some of the best deals on clothing here. Some other items are just worth passing on though oppositely. Have had no major complaints service wise here at all. Friendly staff although checking out may be a bit slower at times. Despite this and the fact some items really aren't worth buying overall a great store to stop at and browse for some good deals!

The stock rotates constantly and there are always people there scouring for store for deals, whether they are buying for themselves or buying to resell. The store is as organized as they can get it, with things changing over so much, they pretty much just organize by the percentage of discount (center of the store) or by the typical "department store categories" The staff seemed to be ok. Very busy and focused - on products or moving customers through the lines efficiently. They definitely were all working hard from what I could see. The parking lot is always 3/4 full.

I scored a genuine leather flat cap from Meyer the Hatter for $25. When I got home, I looked up the original price and it was $125! Huge steal. I then also grabbed a vintage 90s style striped fleece henley long sleeve for $20. They had your usual vintage clothes and shoes but they also had everything from MTV Raps cards to every little accessory you could think of. Everything is neatly organized by size and color, which made browsing so easy and honestly so enjoyable. I really appreciated how intentional the layout felt. And then the second room... not only do they have 3 dressing rooms but HELLO NOSTALGIA. They have a TV and a Super Nintendo setup where you can literally play Super Mario in between shopping. 10 STARS. I swear shopping here healed a tiny part of my inner child. Getting a Costco in Maine has been an entirely new ballgame for us. Financially, I don't know if…read moreshopping here saves us any money because we buy literally everything we never knew we always needed (appliances, housewares, dog toys, clothing, snacks, outdoor games, electronics, gift cards, travel, and the list goes on). But, for the things we buy that are on our list, it's always a great deal. Favorite Costco (Kirkland) items: frozen chicken chunks and paper towels. I'm a Bounty girl but these paper towels are on another level. To review the specific warehouse: *it's insanely busy all the time, just as other warehouses we've been to *despite the busy-ness, it still feels clean and organized (not organized as in it makes sense because nothing about the layout makes sense) *people are vultures for the free samples. If you want to actually try something, get in line early *they move their stock around frequently. You can't look in the same place 2 weeks in a row because it likely moved *every employee we've encountered has been super friendly and helpful *not only do we get our dog meds at a massive discount but the pharmacist is so friendly! I am definitely a Costco junkie ;) Costco itself gets a 10/10.

Putting aside the question of how worthwhile warehouse shopping is generally, or for house dwellers…read morevs apartment renters, etc... I am very happy with this Costco location. I was excited when they coming to the area and had plans months in advance to switch over from BJs. It's convenient, it's large, it's clean, the gas is cheap, the sample stations are plentiful, the hot dogs are hefty. It's everything you want in a Costco. I have always thought it funny and bothersome that stores like this sell clothing but have nowhere for a customer to try it on, though I am assured the returns policy is generous here. I have noticed they don't sell kids socks here though, that's annoying. I regularly buy paper products, desserts, seltzer, snacks, and greens (we have voracious rabbits) here and have always been happy with the selection. The vegetables are FRESH! Also - when I was considering a membership, I asked to browse the store first so I could make my decision and they let me do that which I appreciate. It was confusing to me that they didn't seem to understand why someone would want/need to do that, but I am grateful they allowed it.
