I go grocery shopping for my grandmother and had an item that I wanted to exchange because it was purchased in error. I made the mistake of not realizing that the receipt pops out of the bottom and so I did not grab it and when I returned to the store, Kat took her time to search through all of her receipts, found mine and was able to give me my cash back. I was in the store about nine minutes before I had returned and she had a system that was able to help her locate my receipt. Most people would have told me to kick rocks or gave me such an attitude. But Kat showed her kind heart, her outstanding customer service and such amazing professionalism. She deserves a special shout out and if she isn't already, she definitely should be upper management. They have been in town for a number of years and have remodeled along the way, adding items such as more food choices. I visit FD for items such as paper products, cleaning supplies, greeting cards and wrapping paper. They have good prices on aluminum pans for cooking and plastic dishes and platters, which are nice to have on hand to bring an appetizer, dessert or other item to a party. You don't need to worry about getting your dish back! I have also purchased underwear for my son there at a good price. They do have additional clothes selections if you are on a budget. If you are looking to save a few dollars then FD is worth a look. Of course it is not a large retail store, so the selection is limited.

In terms of the other selection, it is hard to find unusual ingredients and yet there does often seem to be a decent selection of tropical fruit. The bakery has very mediocre bakes and an average selection at best. There is nothing truly horrifying; I mean to say the place is relatively clean, no vermin, nothing that could actually get me to stop being lazy and go somewhere I enjoy shopping. This particular branch is pretty basic and low-tech. Finally, the staff and employees are a mixed batch that kind of breaks down to be 25% spiteful, 50% ambivalent, and 25% pleasant. If you have better options or more motivation, head elsewhere.

I was happy to find out that they offered shipping and so off I went and supported this small business. After the purchase, I looked over what else they sold and noticed, they have a lot of cute items! From jewelry to knick knacks and awesome greeting cards. A lot of handmade stuff.
