This is the slowest dollar tree I've been in thus far. Going to get two things turns out to be a 4…read morehour line wait (exaggerating of course) okay, at least 15-20 minutes in line. This store is already small and cramped so when there's only one cashier it's horrible. Lines go way into the isles and it's very unorganized. I think it would help space some things out a bit if they didn't have a giant POS soda refrigerator near every cashier station and a clumsy ice cream freezer at the checkout area. That's just an opinion though. Cons: It's dingy, average lighting, lately the store has been a consistent mess, often long waits in line. Pros: Everything is a dollar lol ***To give you an indication of the wait times in line, I wrote this review while waiting in line.***

How can you not love dollar tree??? I'm not saying you can do your weekly grocery shopping here,…read morebut there are some things that I definitely prefer to buy here: wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbon, bows, tape, batteries, party supplies (plates/cups/utensils/tablecloths), movie theater candy and balloons. They also have some cool seasonal stuff, if we're having a party (4th of July, Halloween, etc), we always some cute serving platters or bowls. I even got a bunch of ribbon at Dollar Tree for my wedding favors. It's always my first stop if I'm looking for something. They don't have everything, but it's worth checking so that you don't overpay at regular stores!

In other words, the usual at Stop and Shop Middletown. And who was this Customer Service clerk? The assistant manager! Rude, unhelpful, and just plain unpleasant. I wss going to buy groceries too, but I just left my cart and walked out. The worst grocery store I've ever been to, and it's because of the service, or lack of it. I live only a mile away, but I'm never going back. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

There is one reason I keep coming here - it is three minutes drive from my house. That is where my…read moreenjoyment of this supermarket ends. For me, shopping here is truly a displeasure. The stocking is inconsistent so I can never rely on being able to get the products I come in for. This is particularly true for buttermilk which I buy weekly. Yes, it is a specialty item but the store is plenty large enough to keep it in stock and perhaps carry more than the one expensive option offered. In terms of the other selection, it is hard to find unusual ingredients and yet there does often seem to be a decent selection of tropical fruit. The bakery has very mediocre bakes and an average selection at best. There is nothing truly horrifying; I mean to say the place is relatively clean, no vermin, nothing that could actually get me to stop being lazy and go somewhere I enjoy shopping. This particular branch is pretty basic and low-tech. Finally, the staff and employees are a mixed batch that kind of breaks down to be 25% spiteful, 50% ambivalent, and 25% pleasant. If you have better options or more motivation, head elsewhere.

Even though every thrift store is a gamble, I'd give this store a chance. An organization building…read morehouses is definitely worth the cash, and worth keeping our stuff out of landfills. Go here before the big boxes! The furniture is laid out by rooms, plus a few dish, art, and lighting sections, so it's pretty easy to find your furniture genre. A pallet of tiles and some paints was also available. I didn't have the experience of donating, yet, but the browsing was a decent experience. Alas, the novelty kids bed was gone before I could inquire. The store has a facebook page if you want a head start in your browsing. The staff (or volunteers?) on site were kind. Overall, a good and green experience.

Laminate furniture appears to match prices you could get for new at Target, and it's dinged up here. But building supplies, drawer handles, sinks and other fixtures, and some appliances, as well as windows, doors, etc, are often priced well and can be the best match for someone looking for specific styles to match an older house, for example. I did find a very nice solid oak sofa table to refinish here last time, though, for only $50, so if you're here anyway for the affordable stuff, you might find a stray diamond in the rough.
