I like shopping at TJ Maxx especially when I felt like just browsing store is basically OK. Dublin…read moreis better. My main concern is the toy section. They really need to have signs stating it is not a playground parents let their kids sit there and play with everything and then it's ruined for people to buy. It's unbelievable. How many parents allow their children to play and open things, but the store needs to crack down on it. Probably why Dublin doesn't have too many toys, but they love her more was ridiculous. Lately the lines have been long notice less cashiers.

Taking one star away because both of the store associates were on their phones when I walked in, and did not greet me. There wasn't really anyone else in the store, so I was surprised when I walked right past that no one acknowledged my existence. With that, The store was well stocked, and prices are reasonable. I am glad that we have options like this here in town still.

Came for the Switch 2 release and... wow. What a mess…read more Total disorganization from the start. There was absolutely no point in showing up early to line up, because earlier in the day they handed out numbers--and that determined your spot in line. So if you couldn't come at 3 PM (because, you know, people WORK), you were already out of luck. Then there was zero clarity on where to stand. Two separate lines: one for bundles, one for non-bundles. Total chaos, people crammed and bunched. Not an actual line. You'd think they would've at least started with the folks who had purchased bundles! Nope! We came back in April to pre-order and paid full price on the spot. You'd think that would mean something--but nope. At pre-order you only had to place a deposit if you wanted and pay the rest at pick up. No priority, no order based on pre-order numbers, which they should've done. Would've been much cleaner. People who walked in at 3 PM and just bought outright (no pre-order) got priority in line at 9pm, just because they got a number at 3pm. So come 9 PM, people walked up and went to the front. Meanwhile, we were still waiting. Honestly, this whole number system was a disaster. Never seen a launch handled so poorly. Their reasoning? The Switch units were stacked and labeled with numbers starting at 100 on top, so they handed out the higher numbers first to make distribution easier--just grab from the top of the stack. So those people, who came earlier in the day at 3, ended up at the front of the line. Meanwhile, we were number 17 out of 100... and still stuck in the back, even though we pre-ordered back in April. Again, they should've prioritized folks by their PRE-ORDER NUMBER. Make it make sense. Oh--and they didn't even limit the number of controllers per person. People walked out with armfuls, so by the time we got our "useless" number, they were already sold out. Whatever happened to the traditional first come, first served? It worked for a reason. Still standing in line as I type this. Just... incredibly disappointing.

This is a new store in the West Valley Mall and as a result are currently having an opening sale…read morewhere everything is $10.99 or less. Not a bad deal. There's a large variety of Women's clothing and Accessories. Lot's of cute tops and dresses yet not much in the way of shorts or trousers. I guess it's still a little too warm up here for trousers anyway. I found a couple of tops which I liked but they don't have regular sizing 0,2,4 ect they are S, M, L and I found that the Small were too big. Boo! Managed to pick up some plain TShirts in black and white for a bargain $1.99 each though. I don't care if they're cheap as I'm only going to add transfers to them for events (Dirty Girl Mud Run). While paying I was also told they have a huge selection of rings for $1 each. They look really cheap and are the ones that will likely leave a big green mark on your fingers so I politely declined. Card is an accepted method of payment and is a 35c charge for debit actions under $10.

Every See's Candies store always has the most pleasant people working there…read more After we'd been to Ramen 101, we went into See's Candies to look for the goodies we should not have. It was a bit late for the Orange Krispys but they still had some. I didn't expect the price, though. I'd been to the store a couple of years ago to get some $25 gift cards for people I knew. I didn't really pay attention to the prices. When we moved from California and the company had a way to ship chocolates, it included an extra fee that made it seem like the chocolate was traveling from Switzerland or somewhere really far away. In any case, one of the dear ladies brought the sample tray. I ended up with the Rum Nougat. I had never tried them because they were my mum's favourite and she'd always grab them as soon as she opened the box. I then, hurried to the cash register to buy the Orange Krispys before my A1C % went through the roof. They have quite a good selection of chocolates and it's always enjoyable to visit.

Really…read more Imagine this - you & your kids come to redeem gift cards given by Santa the day after Christmas (bought my by husband). Only to be told, "Well, this gift card doesn't work." That's it. No other effort. No explanation. That was it for the customer. You're S.O.L. Left me hanging, just standing there. You read it right. The employee Basira provided tragic service & TOLD ME IN FRONT OF MY KIDS THAT THE GIFT CARDS GIVEN TO THEM BY SANTA DID NOT WORK. IT IS ****HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT BASIRA TAKE EXTENSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. STAT.**** There was no "Well, let me see what I can do for you" or "Let me try and help you further or see what I can do." None of that. NOTHING. Again, I repeat...NO EFFORT TO HELP after that. I was exasperated and really had to push this and advocate for myself, the customer, in order to get ANY kind of additional help from her. I told her that these cards HAD to work because these were given to the children in their stocking by Santa! CAN YOU IMAGINE the situation I was in? Picture it, really. Basira was unaffected, unsympathetic, and provided NO level of service at all to be helpful. After a few minutes of my exasperation, insisting that she needed to help further because YOU KNOW THESE GIFT CARDS ARE FROM SANTA AND THEY WORK! THE WORST PART was that she was insinuating that the cards may have been already used! HELLO? Why would I bring my young kids to the mall the day after Christmas trying to use a used gift card? I was aghast & it was unimaginable. Basira then turned the card over, scratched off the scratchable number that reveals a code in the back of the card. (I told her again, yes, these were new cards.) And swiped again. And did something else. She actually did not explain what she did or what went wrong. Just still trying to BLAME THE CUSTOMER. AND OF COURSE, THE GIFT CARDS WORKED! Of course they did! AFTER ALL, THESE GIFT CARDS WERE FROM SANTA, DANGIT! As I said all along. By this point, I just wanted to get the heck out of this Claire's. I can tell you that I'll never buy a gift card from here again & will be telling all my friends with little girls. And I know a lot of them at school, at the PTA, in our scouts, in clubs, on and on. Usually I like to stop by Claire's to buy a prize or reward for my girls, but I will really have to rethink ever doing this again. There are many other stores to buy prizes from (hello, Target) that don't treat their customers like the dregs of humanity & they actually offer helpful service. Not a DGAF attitude. And will no longer be doing the buy 3/get 3 free like we do. So if this gal is there, STEER CLEAR of redeeming a gift card & don't expect to be helped like you actually matter. This abysmal customer service has ruined my ever wanting to go to this Claire's again.
