When the other brick and mortar kids store failed me, I wandered in here and found exactly what I was after. A warm and cozy little jumpsuit for my girly to wear in the cold outdoor weather. Taking one star away because both of the store associates were on their phones when I walked in, and did not greet me. There wasn't really anyone else in the store, so I was surprised when I walked right past that no one acknowledged my existence. With that, The store was well stocked, and prices are reasonable. Great store. I came by a few times this week and all employees I've encountered were very helpful and friendly and were able to help me with my returns and transactions. Immediately got greeted when I walked in and one employee even helped me carry my big heavy order to my car. Great selection of clothing I'll definitely keep taking a trip to this location. Great store plenty of items in stock I ordered a huge order online to pick up at the store two employees were working the counter and were super friendly and assisted with checking my order and putting the clothes in bags instead of me carrying out 2 huge boxes I will definitely come back to shop in store next time read more

Why??? Why is this store still in business???? Unhelpful staff. Periodic, unscheduled closures. Selection and sizes seriously lacking. This use to be a good place to pick up cute baby/children outfits at a good price. Now it's just trashy. Too bad. read more

I would always shop here for my daughters clothes, until... I purchased a pair of sandals for her, they were her size, but when I got home and put them on her, I did not like how they fit. So I went back to the store with my receipt and the manager told me that because I had taken the tags off, I could not return them, or even exchange them for something different. She didn't care that I had just purchased and that I had my receipt. So I mentioned "don't you guys place the tags in here anyway?" She said yes, we do tag them here, but you cannot return them. I would give zero stars if i could. I bought a pair of pants yesterday for my daughter and when i got home and she tried them on i realized i had gotten the wrong size. I went back today not even 24 hours later to exchange the pants for one size bigger and the associate Colleen said they could not exchange them because i did not have the tags for the pants. I did have the receipt but she didnt seem to care. She was very rude and even answered the phone while i was talking to her. I will NEVER shop at this place again. They have a horrible return policy and the workers at this particular location are very rude. read more

It does not surprise me reading these bad reviews regarding their terrible and rude customer service. Yesterday I went in to the Tracy location at the West Valley Mall to return a pair of shorts i had ordered online. I had driven an hour to get there as I do not have a store near where i live. I talk to Candace who said she was the store manager, and i had my receipt, but did not have the tag for the item as my daughter had taken it off when she tried the shorts on. The shorts were too small so I just wanted to exchange for the next size up, and I had bought them not even 2 weeks ago. Candace was very rude when telling me i had to have the tag for the shorts to even do a exchange and that was the store policy. I asked to see that policy as she ripped out a piece of register tape turned it on the back side where the return policy was written, i did not say anywhere on the back of that register tape that the tags had to be attached. She then proceeded to tell me the policy was online and i should "look it up" I asked what i was suppose to do then, because the shorts were simply too small my daughter could not wear them, and she said she didn't really care and walked away. I had my 8 year old daughter with me as well. So i stepped out of the store and looked the policy up online, I did see where it said the tags needed to be attached and you needed to have the original sales receipt or packing slip and it needed to be within 45 days to return and get your money back, but that they would exchange for the same item in a different size or color if you did not have all those things. So i went back in the store and showed Candace the exchange policy online, she then yelled at me and said fine ill do it this time but that this is her store and she can refuse to return ANYTHING if she feels like it. By this time i was humiliated and my daughter was upset, so i said thank you and went to the rack grabbed the next size up and as i was walking back to the register she stormed over to me ripped the shorts out of my hand and accused me or washing the shorts i was returning in front of everyone. I told her i was not going to argue with her but that i had not washed them that they were too small, my daughter was in tears by now. She did the exchange without saying another word to me when she was done i asked for her supervisor's phone number she said she was the store manager and gave me a card with a 1-800 number on it that i will be calling today to file a formal complaint on her. How dare an employee of a store accuse anyone of anything, and how dare she treat me the way she did especially in front of my daughter and make her feel that way. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THE STORE AGAIN, CANDACE IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER I EVER DELT WITH. This store needs to rethink who they hire. read more

The Children's place as a company has really cute childrens clothes and lots of good sales. My reason for 1 star is that this store is so cramped it's nearly impossible to navigate with a stroller which is unfortunate since it's a store for infants to big kids. You have to expect that families with small children in strollers are going to be shopping here, and yet you cram as much as you can into a small space and make it impossible to get around. I much prefer to shop their items online. read more

The store is extremely tight and compact, everything is shoved together. Not much room to move around especially if you have a stroller ( I have a small to medium size stroller and it was almost impossible to move in store without bumping into something or someone) . Unfortunately I would have to agree that the costumer service there is terrible, there were two employees working and only one was doing checkout while the other one stood there doing "busy work" "paper work" as the check out line grew. I had an issue with a coupon code that was online and this particular employee was a bit abrasive about it as if she was doing me a favor. I wouldn't say she was rude but she definitely wasn't nice about it. That being said Children's Place does have some really nice clothes but pricey so I would suggest going with its on sale or when there are coupon codes online that you can use in store. Which leads me to one final point. I witness the customer in front of me ask if there were any other coupons she could use and the employee answered " I don't know check your email" . This might be store policy but how hard would it had been to give the customer the coupon code that is listed online on the website for all to use? read more

I had such terrible customer service there. There was only one person working in the store, and she only had me and another customer. She was checking out the other customer when I finished shopping and waited my turn to check out. The employee would ring up a few items stop and her and the customer would stop and start shopping in the store again. They did this Three times while I am waiting to check out. It was obvious this customer was not ready to check out as her and the employee were still shopping. The employee would not suspend this customers trans action so I could pay as I was ready to check out. I waited 30 minutes and could get no service. I finally left on the way out the employee watched me and made eye contact with me as I out my purchase down and walked out. All she did was shrugged her shoulder and went back to doing personal shopping with this other customer. read more
