One thing that always drives me nuts about TJ Maxx is how they assume everyone is there to steal... the purses are all chained together and you have to get an employee to undo them to even look at one. Also, the same treatment at the fitting rooms...very rigid about number of items, etc. I guess they have a huge theft problem? Anyway, it's an okay store. I did not have time to really go further, and almost got trapped in the clearance Halloween section before making it to checkout. If Ollie's has any flaws, other then it feeling like a thrift store, it would be that the carts can't go outside. Having to haul a large coffee maker box and my bag out to my car was a bit of a feat! Also the lady who checked me out seemed nice but was really put out when I asked for a membership card. I told her, if she didn't want to do it, I could see if I could do it online, but would like a physical card. She finally just signed me up.
