There are no Nordstrom Rack stores in my area, and I wanted to find something. I found some blonde conditioner. A pet peave of mine is no price tags or stickers. There is some Clinique makeup but no prices. I brought the blonde conditioner to the front. I'm hoping it was under $20. It scanned at $10.99. I owed $1.90 in overage and tax. I use blonde conditioner for my silver hair. They have some type of rewards program, but I live far away from Nordstrom Rack, and I rarely go to Mall of America.

I didn't want to pay $10 shipping and saw we had a store about 15 miles from home. I placed an online order to pick up in store and I was amazed how amazing this store was. It's like a Marshalls/TJ max but way more stocked and larger. I love TJ Max and marshalls but it is slim pickings. I spent $140 when I just planned to pick up my online order lol. Don't get me wrong; they're very nice decorations and very affordable, ranging from embroidered tea towels to garland to crystal ornaments and larger decor, but that's pretty much ALL that was there today. Make the drive over to the hundreds of other Asian grocery stores there. I don't even live close and I make the effort to do my big grocery shopping in St. Paul for the price and variety. The pre-cooked rice looked mushy. The breads were dried and flaky. Disappointed to say the least. As an Asian person, I wouldn't frequent the establishment even in desperate times.

And I've loved all purchases in the past. The last two visits were not great. Employees have been focused on tasks and talking amongst themselves. Little interaction with customers and giving off that annoyed reaction. In retail, it's beneficial to be friendly to customers. These customers return again and again. Today I came into the store with some clothing to consign. When I walked in, I was greeted with a snear from an employee and a "Do you have an appointment?" greeting. Not "Hello" or some other welcoming greeting. I did not have an appointment and didn't know this new rule. She could have them stated that they now only accept consignments on Thursdays and Saturdays by appointment. (Today is a Thursday btw). Making a customer feel inconvenienced or just being rude makes Turnstyle look bad. I'm disappointed that my fav store has changed. I no longer recommend.

She helped us pick out lighting fixtures, bathroom tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixtures and paint colors. She was so helpful and made suggestions regarding size and colors we wouldn't have normally considered but, so happy she did as we went with many of them. We also ordered a custom master king size bed where we were able to choose every detail and she helped us every step of the way. It's gorgeous!! Everything turned out perfectly. We've purchased home decor items and gifts at the store. Such unique and beautiful items. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful.
