We have had two other dollar stores in the past couple of years but both have had to close (probably because of the economy)! So hopefully the residents will visit this location. I think they will because this is not your normal dollar store...it is totaly corporate and has great prices. They had there grand opening over the weekend a few weeks ago and the first 50 people got $5 gift cards and gift bags. I did not wait in the line and decided to check it out the next day. The store was quite crowded and organized after a first day grand opening. I was expecting to find it a mess. The store has everything you could want. It is like a cross between a Walgreens (selection) and a Walmart (low prices). They have clothes, food, toys, DVD's, ice cream, candy, light bulbs, paint, lunch meat, screws, chaulk, soda, make up, CD's, cell phones with no contracts...the list goes on and on. This place is going to force the small supermarket that shares the parking lot here to change some of there prices weekly based on what stock is available here. Competition is good...hopefully everyone will spread the money around so that both businesses profit. Again welcome and good luck!!!

BOATERS BEWARE!!! We…read morefilled up our boat on 7/26/11 and later that day had to take our boat back to the dealer because the engine stopped. Our carburetor had to be taken apart and rebuilt. The cause was bad gas. Now I hate pointing fingers but this is the only gas station we have ever filled up our boat at. The boat is only a year old and should have never had this problem and worst of all Mercury does not warranty carburetors. Definately an expensive day!!! This warning is to all the boaters who may fill up here. The dealer said that marine engines are really sensitive when it comes to bad gas. This does not mean the gas here is bad for your car but it may harm your marine engine. We will never fill up our boat here again.

I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.
