I stopped here to get a watch battery replaced. I'd never been to this store before and have always wanted to stop by - this was my chance. There was someone there already getting a watch battery replaced. So, while waiting, I walked around admiring their clocks and watches. They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. Recently purchased a Breitling B1, and unfortunately, upon arrival, the battery had died, and the bezel was not working properly. I've taken watches to fast fix repair shops before and unfortunately, those individuals don't necessarily handle your watches with care in this case they got the watch up and running they were able to switch out the battery appropriately. I have two watches with identical Sellita SW200 calibers in them. Both were running about +12 to +15 seconds per day. I took the first one in, got it back about 10 minutes later, was charged $0, and now it runs about +2 seconds per day. I took the second one in, they held onto it for over a week for some reason, I was charged $40, and it has gained +5 seconds in the last week since I picked it up. I don't know why it took so long to dial in the second one versus the first one for identical calibers; I don't know why I was charged $0 for the first one and $40 for the second one, which is kind of steep for basic calibration... but if that $40 gets me +/- 1 sec/day accuracy for an off-the-shelf Sellita caliber, I'll gladly pay it whether or not I was incentivized by the courtesy tuning of the first watch. UPDATE: After a month of continuous wear since I got the latter watch back, it was off by only two seconds before I finally swapped it off my wrist for a different watch. Part of that was friction management (I rested it face-up overnight if it was running slow and crown-up if it was running fast), part of it owes to an unusually accurate specimen of this particular caliber... and much of it owes to the watchmaker at this place who was able to regulate it to such a slender tolerance. read more

I have a refurbished antique school clock that I love. The last guy who worked on it did a haphazard job. It never worked correctly and the motor in the back was loosely mounted. I drive past this business on Rand Rd. almost every day but never knew they did repairs. When I saw one of their ads advertising this service, I brought the clock right in. The gentleman at the desk examined the clock and said with a new movement it would be like new again. I asked if the new motor would be attached more securely and he said, "We don't do work like this here." After a week I received a call and the clock has never run better and the motor is on tight. These guys know what they are doing and I recommend them highly. You'll also have fun looking at all the different clocks in their showroom! read more

I took 6 watches in, one needed a battery, another just needed the watch band fitted for my wrist. To my surprise the other 4 watches didn't need any repair. It was explained to me that self winding watches need to be worn more often than I was doing, and to just work them in more often! Finally my old dad's watch that I have is just a wind up watch, and he set the time, wound it and it works fine. Final cost was only $36.00 (amazing, cuz I expected extensive and costly repairs). I''m afraid I have to agree with Stephen S. I took my Atmos clock in for a repair estimate. After the tech looked at it, I was told it would cost $1,000 to repair. My wife and I were not prepared to spend this amount of money so I thanked them and left the store. When I told them my decision, the clerk refused to even speak to me. When I got the clock home, on a whim I checked youtube and found a three minute video that made several suggestions on what I might do to get the clock working again. I followed the instructions and, lo and behold, I got it working again. Two days later, it is still keeping perfect time. The man knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it on the spot while I waited. Repair costs were reasonable and the clerk friendly and eager to help me. I've lived in the area forever, but never really had a reason to stop in. You see, I'm a bachelor, and my ilk don't have need for fancy clocks. Until we buy one and it breaks. OK, OK, I bought it at another store. But now that I am aware of their selection, I will definitely stop there first when the next purchase comes up. Makes me so sad to write a review like this! I work retail myself and know how this affects business. But I also feel we need to be honest and fair. I went into the store on Friday with a clock I dearly love. Needed a new mechanism. Thought it would be about $50. The mechanism is 9.99 on Amazon. The employee told me they had to adjust the hands snd do a few other things but the cost would be $150, and three weeks to fix! Thought that sounded crazy. I went on line and got the part ordered. It came last night. I removed the hands, no tools required, then unscrewed ONE hex nut and the whole thing came apart. Put the new part on attached the nut replaced the hands put the battery in and hung the clock back up! Whole project took 6 minutes including unpacking the new part! I of course am not including the 5.14 minutes of the video I watched on u tube! Took me longer to order the part and write this then to fix the clock! SHAMEFUL service. Hopefully they will see this and be more fair on pricing in the future! Super glad I did it myself. Saved time and money. read more

I have a Seiko wall clock - just love it, with the zodiac designs on it and it plays 5 different tunes every hour. Recently, the batteries died and I changed then and then it didn't work. I was devastated. I took my clock in and when I had changed one of the batteries, I inadvertently lifted the metal part the battery should sit on and that was all. They fixed it immediately and now I have my clock back up on the all and it's playing the songs every hour. read more
