Well 4 hours later - I felt like I had my own professional stylist who understands women's bodies like no one but a seamstress would (who's been sewing her own clothes since age 8). I'm 5'10" & average/slim weight. She makes stuff for XL, XXL. I walked in wearing an Italian Piazza Sempione pantsuit looking like a "suit" ... & she found great stuff that made me look & feel like "Sexy Suzie" while classy & awesome fabrics from Italy. All made here in L.A.! Owner Ann was a Teamster and she's a good egg. Also I went with a new friend who I'm working on some political things with so we were on fire, talking nonstop & I'm surprised Ann's ears didn't bleed. But Ann was so cool & nice. Prices amazing. Some merchandise is a tad pricey, but I saw more interesting items here, especially some decor items. A bit of everything. Wish they'd have more media and a cooler selection. They have many different selections of wardrobe along with jewelry to accessorize your look, and make you feel good and confident about yourself. Their sizes start from 12 & up. Abundance is a place where you can find different types of clothes from dresses to pants, to skirts, scarfs and more.. Each item has it's own price and value. They had great selection of everything. Some things are even on sale. I was a little skeptical about her size and style and didn't want to risk it and buy something that she wouldn't like or wear. So I ended up getting her a gift card. They have a lot of different labels by different designers. The place is very welcoming, big, bright, comfortable and even has a nice, modern looking couch. Employees are kind and helpful. I have been to this store twice before when I was a bit heavier than I am now. Give this store a try, and you will NOT be disappointed. I was fortunate enough to chat with Lily! She asked me exactly what I was there to receive, and I told her I needed a fun costume, without spending tons and tons of money. We went through a catalog, and then we took a walk to see what costumes were lurking. I found a cool costume, and also another one. We were both pleased that at least we narrowed it down to just two. We came to the consensus that although one may be a bit more lively, the other would be more comfy for an all-day event. I sent a picture for approval, and I was told everything worked except the Hat. Forunatly, We knew that if we switched the hat, we could still have a great look. She got me two potential Hats from a very high shelf in the back. And I couldn't quite decide, so I ended up purchasing both! I knew that I didn't want to take any more time in analysis paralysis, but Lily was very patient with me, and she knew this was important to me, so she was right by my side the whole time! Once I got home I noticed that there was a stain on one of the hats that we just didn't catch, so I came back to make a note, and Christina, her boss, was kind enough to take some baby wipes and make it looks spick and span. It's funny because once the stain from the silly hat was gone, I said, " ok good, now I feel confident wearing this!" Both Lily and Christina were very kind, pleasant, and helpful.
