I was happy to find a gynecologist who is an experienced woman who takes my insurance AND cares to use numbing cream without extra charge. Unfortunately, I found her unsolicited and unwelcome comments about my appearance to be extremely unprofessional. I understand she is also a cosmetic surgeon, but her services were not asked for, nor are they done in the facility I went to. When someone goes to a doctor for medical reasons, the doctor should not suggest the patient get an elective facelift. I was confused why she would even make the suggestion and concerned it may be for medical reasons, but it was not. It is not only unprofessional, it is a danger to the women who already have a hard time in this vulnerable position, working up the nerve to see a doctor for preventative care. When the procedure was done, I asked her for a paper towel because I was uncomfortably bleeding on the bench, she said yes, but did not hand one to me. On top of this issue, she was difficult to get more information about my actual medical concerns. She was dismissive and seemed to want to quickly leave the room. She also did not tell me which birth control she prescribed and I still wont know until I go pick it up. read more

My wife and I called to schedule her routine treatments -- treatments that were being offered to fix an issue caused by the doctor in the first place. Instead of professionalism, we were met with audacity and disrespect from a "manager" they recently hired. This incompetent manager clearly has no idea what's going on and chose to speak in a condescending tone. Excuse you -- who do you think you are? First of all, don't make up stories about your office "trying to get a hold of my wife and I for months and give your unsolicited opinions about something you know nothing about."My wife SPECIFICALLY told your office that she'd be working and would call to schedule when she had the time -- which is exactly what we just did. Instead, we were met with rudeness, hostility, and zero professionalism. Even while being treated this way, my wife remained polite. She kindly asked after realizing the airhead didn't want to make the appointment because she wanted to get her boss in trouble, "How about having the doctor call me?" and this so-called manager actually replied: "How about no!" That's not just unprofessional -- it's insulting. If this is the best "manager" this Dolores Kent can find, it says everything about the standards of this office. Between the doctor's original mistake, the stress caused, and now this clown show of an employee, this place is a joke. The doctor and assistant have already caused enough stress and damage, and now they add this? When searching for a gshot procedure, I found out quickly that finding an experienced female doctor in Los Angeles is like a needle in a hay stack. I chose Dr. Kent because she is extremely experienced and also a obgyn and meticulous surgeon. Dr. Kent delivered results that I am happy with and will come back for more because Dr. Kent is a wonderful doctor that does excellent work! The WORSE!!!!! Is this a real doctor? I scheduled my first GYN appointment in on Nov 2, 2024, their office called me to reschedule because Dolores Kent needs to reschedule to 11/11, they called me the week of the appt to cancel bc she has a conflict and they reschedule my appointment to 12/23/2024 a day before christmas eve, and they called me right before it and told me she needs to reschedule again. They reschedule me to 1/6/2025. when I finally arrive to their office, they told me my insurance coverage for this visit is expired and I will have to pay out of pocket. I told them its because your doctor cancelled my appointment 3 times! I would not want to ever go back! I would not trust this Dolores Kent to be a professional GYN doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Kent for over 15 years. I found here when I was unhappy with several prior Gyno's and took a risk by looking up doctors on my insurance companies website. I liked that she was Harvard trained and gave it a shot. I have since referred her numerous women and have never considered going elsewhere. She is very kind, patient, and LISTENS!! So many doctors these days rush you in and out and she and her staff are wonderful. Her nurse Laura is also a dream. This woman can take blood like nobody I have ever experienced! Dr. Kent is a very knowledgeable doctor and is also on the leading edge of all new information and even some more Holistic practices. When I had a very severe Ovarian Cyst she welcomed my questions about about acupuncture and alternative treatments and they worked perfectly with her help. I decided to take a leap of faith after meeting her and her assistant for lypo with the tumescant solution. Im small by nature and probably didn't need it as much as i thought that being said I was on a mission to get rid of the small muffin top that wouldn't go away with excersize not matter what i did. At the office I noticed there were not a lot of photos of patients who have had lypo on their tummies but then again friends had said she worked on celebs who didn't want their photos put in some book. That being said after meeting with her and her assistant I decided to receive tumescent lypo. Well my first week I noticed that there was something wrong above my belly, and a small indentation on the side but again it was the first week, and I was reassured the problem would heal. Then it was the first month, then the 3rd by the 5th month the problem that I mentioned on week one was still there, and very noticeable. These are things that I mentioned my first week. Finally after seeing the problem had not been fixed with massages etc, I was promised that it would be fixed and never heard from the doctor again. Not only was it over priced but later I learned that others had a bad experience. Im sure there a few people who had great results but not me. So far it has taken me about two grand to attempt to fix the problem that Dr. Kent made. Not to mention, dents and ripples that weren't there before. I did everything I was supposed to do, I wore a garment, one that was special made, I had massages done, I worked out, did all of that only to find that she fucked up. Bottom line is, it was my fault because I went to see a doctor who specializes in fixing peoples vaginas, to fix my belly. Long story short, do your research, don't go on a leap of faith, listen to friends if the doctor specializes in one thing stick to her only for that procedure and see others who truly are the best at what they do. I wonder if she did the stomach of Tara Reed. Thank God I have been working really hard to fix this with diet and excersize as well as seeing specialists. If she couldn't fix it, she should have offered to give me at least half of my money back. She did say she would cover the cost of having it fixed and then poof, gone. read more
