We ended up here when Frank's wanted us to wait 45 minutes for our order to be ready. We were on the way to a friend's house and didn't have that kind of time. Our order was ready within 15 minutes at Lil Niros (I think it used to be Deniros). We got two pizzas and Jeremy couldn't resist getting a cheesesteak. Our friend Katie likes green peppers and olives on her pizza, and she seemed to enjoy it. The other was just plain cheese. If a place can't make a good cheese pizza then I can't expect them to build on a shaky foundation. Personally I was not impressed, but our friend Sharon could not stop talking about how good it was and how she would order from them in the future. Came here for a cheesteak. This is suppose to be one of the best cheesesteaks in Baltimore. We got a traditional one with lettuce, tomatoe and hots. The staff were pleasant and the ambiance of the establishment was what you would expect from a carryout business. So it's this little pizza spot on bel air road that I've been dying to try ever since I was working to the 33 bus. So luckily yesterday I was in the area in decides to give Lil Niro's a shot. First off it's a carry out so the dining in option is dead. Second it's on an intersection so the parking & getting out is really dangerous. I literally had to wait for a red light so I could get back in the truck with my food because the cars were flying up Bel Air road so fast. But all of that aside it was a great call by me cause the prices & product were amazing. I order 2 slices of pizza & a soda special that was only $5.99 plus the jerk chicken cheesesteak that originally lead to me wanting to try them because it was always advertised on the sign outside. That surprisingly combined came to a total of $16.16. The only negative was my service the guy waiting on me seemed to have an attitude & be very unprofessional as I made requests & inquiries bout certain things on the menu. But I will say that was short lived because once he left the register a much nicer & friendly woman came up who was very helpful. Best part is it wasn't too crowded so I got my food & was on my way in no more than 10 minutes. The food didn't disappoint at all the jerk chicken cheesesteak was delicious one of the best I've ever had. The pizza was too bad but it wasn't something I would take the ride back over there for like the jerk chicken cheesesteak. So overall I'll say that if you're ever in the Overlea area Lil Niro's is a good choice to pull up for a bite to eat. read more

I'm only giving this place a 3 star rating because when I called and asked if the Jerk wings were DRY RUB, the guy on the phone said yes, so I went ahead and ordered them. Unfortunately when I picked up my order of jerk wings and saw that it's actually a sauce I was upset and had to wipe the sauce off of them. Overall the wings were a nice size and pretty good after I wiped the sauce off. Will I go back after they lied to me....probably not instantly, I'll give it a few weeks until I return. read more

I ordered from the through Slice, which is a pizza delivery app they use. When it was past the latest delivery time, I called to check in. I was told immediately it was on it's way. Okay, that's fine. They're busy. Then another 25 minutes go by so I call again. He puts me on hold. Then he comes back on like 5 minutes later. Says he's really sorry, something went wrong with the app. They won't charge me for anything but they're going to send a pizza anyway. Okay. I accepted that answer, and politely. Then guess who got charged for the pizza? I called them to fix what I assumed was an error and they say I have to call Slice. I call Slice. They tell me they have to call the restaurant. Then Slice tells me the restaurant won't authorize a refund but they'll offer me a credit to order with them again. What? Umm... I would have straight canceled if they hadn't offered to refund on their own. I only accepted because they offered to refund on their own. So they sent me a pizza two hours later, past my child's bed time, and then charge me despite telling me they wouldn't and now they want to say well, you got the pizza, so.... Seriously?! Then they want to be mad because I'm angry and I yelled at them about it? Please. I only regret one thing. The woman I yelled at said the guy who told me I would be refunded didn't have authorization to do that and I said well I guess you should fire him then. That was wrong. He was trying to do the right thing because he knew they messed up. She is the one who should get fired. She should have refunded as promised right away. Then no complaints, no yelling. Could have avoided the whole situation. Instead she wasted my time and hers. And at the end of the day, I'm not even mad about the money so much. Good day, After a very negative experience from the Overlea location approximately one month ago, with credit card over-charges and incorrect orders. Today, it took the delivery man more than 10 minutes to enter the building after, my order was incorrect-- asked for no tomatoes due to allergies, but there were three tomatoes on my order--, cup of ice for order was charged but not delievered, the other chicken salad order was not as it was requested, and the Greek wrap was falling apart. When I called in, the manager was a bit abrupt and short-tempered. We were charged $14 for 2 slices of pizza and a kids meal.This is totally disappointing. UPDATE: So this is my second time ordering. The first time was great. This time not so much...my wings were supposed to be honey mustard. I got them and they are definitely NOT honey mustard! I can't place the taste but it isn't honey mustard. The color was pinkish and had a funky almost spoiled taste to them. They were also sloppily thrown together. The wings weren't fully covered and it was just a big glob of whatever flavor that was in the middle! I ended up throwing them out. I've been going to Deniro's since I moved to the area a year ago. Deniro's is the only local pizza place that is consistent with flavor and service. The pizza cheese is gooey and the veggie toppings are fresh. I always do take out and my pizza is normally ready in under 20 minutes, even on game days. This location is very small, there is no dining in. When you go, don't forget to ask for the garlic butter sauce and use your punch card. read more

Deniros is our go to place if we want to order delivery. We've explored the menu and aside from the mashed potatoes (but hey it's a sub shop) everything is delicious. Everything is always hot, delivery is typically 5 mins or more faster then what they tell you. They've always been nothing but polite to us. Their sauce on the pizza and pasta is fantastic. Finally I said I'll just order thru Door Dash. She hung up on me. After she did that I chose not to order from Deniro's. I called back and she would not let me speak to a manager and refused to give me her name. She claimed I hung up on her. I have ordered from Deniro's once a week for several years-she claims "you have only ordered from here twice". Ok if it was 20 times or once how dare you speak to a customer in that manner and hang up. Crimmy I have Deniro's phone number in my contacts!!!! This used to be our favorite neighborhood pizza spot, but over the last couple of months the service has been increasingly bad. The young lady who answers the phone is very rude and does not put the customer experience first. We have ordered several pizzas over the past 2 months and half of them were mangled (cheese slid over to one side, stuck to top of box, and crust folded over). The young lady who answers the phone is not accommodating, instead she is very rude and is almost accusatory as if it's the customers fault. Unacceptable. All i have 2 say is AWESOME!!!!! The best pizza on the east side. Maybe Gils is a little better, but not by much. Usually i go 2 1 place 4 pizza & another 4 subs. This place is good at both. My personal favorites are 18 pepperoni pizza, Italian cold cut and last but not least is the chicken greek salad. Both locations are great, but the clientele is definitely better in perryhall. Customer service SUCKS!!! and the food is below average. I come to Baltimore two times a year from Northern California to visit family. My brother in law suggested this place because it's not to far from his house. We placed a pick up order for one large pizza, two salads, two orders of fries and 2 kids chicken tender meals. So we picked the order up and went home. As we began to open the bags of food we noticed a few items were missing from our order. So we drove back, which was a 10 minute drive in the snow. I let the cashier know that we were missing some items and she give me a dirty look. She finally found my food but I asked her that I would like it to be re-cooked because the food was cold by now. Then again lady yelled, " were not cooking nothing". So I asked for my money back. My brother in law didn't want to cause a sense so we just took the cold food. So we got back home to eat the cold food and it was terrible, the only thing that was okay were the salads but how can you mess up a salad. The pizza had no favor, fries were hella cold and greasy and the chicken tenders looked hella old. And another thing, some of the employees were smoking in the back of the kitchen, smh.
