Stopped over on Saturday between 5 and 6 and it was empty - just a couple of employees and the previous owner / perhaps co-owner now - and the dining room was quiet and for the most part empty but the phone was ringing for delivery orders. Place was clean and tidy and would have definitely ate here but needed to get home. I had one thing on my mind - a Padrino Wrap - crispy chicken, fresh mozz, and roasted red peppers and fries. You might be thinking this guy went all the way over there for a wrap and didn't get any pizza. If the wrap is any indication of the rest of the cooking/prep and values this place maintained over the years - even under new ownership - I am willing to bet that the pizza now is still just as good as it was years ago. Don't sleep on this place - if you're visiting or from the area, Lubrano's is the casual Italian dining spot.

I ordered the stuffed shells, and even though the shells were tiny, it was very well prepared. The sauce was delicious and very fresh. It had the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. I tasted a bit of their fettucine alfredo, which I really enjoyed. Even with a ton of Italian options in the area, I definitely wouldn't mind trying the rest of the menu.

No upgrades, no premium options, nothing out of the ordinary. At pickup, my husband was told the total was $25. After handing them a $100 bill, he received $65 back. When he questioned why the change was wrong, the employee casually said, "Oh, it's $35." The price literally went up $10 on the spot. When I called afterward to question the charge, they claimed it was a "special pizza" with "special cheese." That's a complete lie. I have a photo of the entire pizza -- it's a regular, basic medium pizza. No special cheese. No justification for $35. The pizza tasted average at best, nowhere near worth that price, and the customer service was rude and condescending, especially when my husband questioned the incorrect change. Between the price switching, excuses, and attitude, this place cannot be trusted. Avoid unless you're okay with prices changing depending on the moment.

It takes a lot to get a person like me write a review...this time I couldn't let it go! So I called Dominic's to place an order, the girl who answer the phone was very rude and pushed on finish the call like she is actually doing me a favor that she takes the order, this is by far the worst customer service I ever got from someone. So I placed the order and then she hung up the phone in my face without even say thank you or goodbye, I called back 10 seconds after and cancel the order she didn't even ask why and she hung up the phone again. At first I landed on an online ordering menu that I don't think was the correct one as it gave zero descriptions on anything. I backed out and then clicked into the correct one. Based on the layout, I assumed I was ordering delivery direct through the restaurant rather than an outside partner, which I prefer to do. Nope. It was DoorDash. Had I realized that, I could've used a DoorDash coupon or ordered elsewhere. Instead, I spent $9.99 for a delivery fee, plus $2.99 service charge, tax, plus tip, and the order was essentially double the cost of takeout. It wasn't obvious that it was an outside partner until the tracking link was emailed. Plus the delivery driver made a stop along the way, so my food was lukewarm on arrival. Ugh. It also took an hour to be delivered compared to their website estimate of 25 minutes. Delivery aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza - the sauce was perfect! The cheesesteak was also delightfully cheesy and cooked perfectly. I probably wouldn't order the tuna club again. I think I overcharged myself, as it didn't have a description so I couldn't figure out what came on it. As such, I added bacon and assumed it'd have cheese as the site referenced "substituting" cheese, so I didn't add that. Turns out - no cheese (so sad) and now bacon on two layers, so I assume they added extra. My mom had a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which she deemed "tasty." High praise from her. Since I overall enjoyed what I ordered, I'd likely go back sometime on a future visit. Though I do feel minorly ripped off by the online ordering experience so I'm more likely to try other local spots first.
