First time trying Milanese Brothers, and I'm glad I did! The Grilled Chicken Pizza was definitely the highlight. The crust was thin and baked just right. The sweet peppers, oil & garlic were in just the right amounts and decent amount of chicken. Absolutely delicious! The cheese fries (ordered with provolone cheese and bacon) were also very good The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the cheesesteak. They say that the bread makes the cheesesteak (or hoagie) and that's the issue here. There was plenty of steak and a nice amount of cheese, but the roll was 2nd rate. I'd skip this item on the menu. I usually go for pizza but had a taste for the wings. I ordered 20 which came to $24 with tax. More flats than drums. Always a positive. I ordered hot though and these weren't given me that kick in use to. The sauce at the bottom of the pan isn't my usual taste either. Not a bad taste just different. Overall these are well worth it. This used to be my favorite place for pizza and cheesesteaks, not anymore. I stopped using them about a year ago because there were a lot of mistakes on cheesesteak orders and the pizza was burnt on the bottom. The delivery was quick and prices standard for this type of place. However the delivery person was nasty, and when I called, I was told that other people had the same problem. In fairness to them, they didn't send that delivery person anymore. I decide to try them again and ordered a pizza. Their customer service was absolutely amazing, but the food unfortunately didn't reflect the service. The employees were great helping us find the restaurant since the GPS took us to the wrong place. They're located next to the Goodwill. The hostess/cashier was EXTREMELY kind and made us feel really welcome! They were also kind and inviting with those sitting and eating in the restaurant. We got our food to go. I'd recommend the cheesesteak but nothing else - cheesesteak with salt, pepper, ketchup, fried onions: pretty good! I only added a little ketchup when I got home - plain fries - the fries were cold, unseasoned, and nothing to brag about - mozzarella fries: didn't have enough cheese and had no salt and pepper whatsoever - buffalo wings: inconsistent texture, but not horrible. The best part was the ranch that came with it - pizza: half cheese & half sausage. would not recommend at all. I didn't have the pizza but my partner did, and they were sick before the night was over. They've never had any aversions to pizza and my stomach is actually a lot more sensitive than theirs. I've ordered this quite a few times now, and it's been equally good each time - crust is on the thinner side, has never been burned or overcooked and the sauce seems to be a notch above the standard pizzeria. I'm from Jamaica Queens NY, I've been living out here about 15 years ago. I tried so many pizza joints out here and they were horrible pizzas. My husband and I bumped into these guys and the pizza tasted just like Queens and or Brooklyn pizza!! We get our pies with extra sauce and it has to be we'll done. I've never met the staff but they are very nice over the phone, my pizza comes nice and hot. I would definitely recommend this pizza joint to anyone especially if your from NY. Oh!!! I've tries multiple pizza places in the area and they've all disappointed. Decided to really try and find a good one and came across these guys. Got the boardwalk pizza and it was one of the top five pie's I've ever gotten. Sauce tasted very fresh and traditional. A bit chunkier than others but it worked perfectly. The cheese was gooey and delicious without sliding off or feeling insubstantial. Very good. Garlic wings were also excellent. Nice sized wings, fried well with a good sauce. I got a chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries, 2 slices of cheese pizza, and a side of meatballs. So far, the sandwich is great! The fries were cooked perfectly well-done (how I asked for them) and the pizza is just downright GOOD! I don't and I like my crust to have some chew to it. There wasn't that much cheese either but after tasting it I think that may be a good thing bc the cheese had a slightly odd taste to it. We have been ordering from Milanese Brothers for years and love them, my husband loves the buffalo chicken pizza, but recently we have been having an issue with un-cooked pizza dough. Last last few times my husband ordered strombolis, the ends have been raw inside. Today we ordered a deluxe pizza and the center of the pie was raw dough, the edges were cooked. The sides are great, sandwiches are good but something is up with their pizza oven lately. read more
