I don't know what was in it that made it slightly spicy, but any concerns I had about it being dry were silly. It was so tasty! He also ordered the BLT wrap with hot chicken, which was really good - but the hot in hot chicken was no joke, it was spicy! He also ordered the burrata marinara with grass fed beef meatballs, and carbonara with fried chicken. Florence Pizza and Pasta is located on 19 in West View and is in the same location as at least 3 previous pizzerias. The inside is mostly the kitchen and consists of an area where you can pick up your pizza. On our most recent visit I chose to call in my order and went with a 18" thin crust pepperoni pizza. Total cost for it ended up being $26.20 and we were told it was going to be ready in 15-20 minutes. My wife picked it up on this occasion and I had picked it up on our first visit. The pizza itself here ended up tasting pretty good. The cheese was super flavorful and there was a good amount of it. Meanwhile the sauce was a nice supporting flavor to the cheese without overpowering it. Finally the crust was pretty good and crispy, especially on the edges. Then the underneath was thin as requested although it wasn't as crispy as I had expected. Finally, the pizza was cut interestingly as it wasn't the usual triangles and instead was 4 cuts straight across from two directions. All of this was an improvement over our first trip which included a hole in our pizza. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. While the pizza was pretty tasty, it's hard to justify the price tag, especially after the hole on our first visit.
