The pain was still not controlled, and when I told the dr I was still in pain he started treating me like a drug seeker "we will not be giving you opioids tonight." Then when I got tired of his smart aleck attitude I asked him if he treated everyone this way. He just kept repeating "do you have any other questions?" Over and over. Then I'd ask him one and he would ask me "do you have any other questions?" I asked him why was he talking to me like a robot. I Then asked to speak to a patient advocate because I knew he was stereotyping me and refusing to treat my pain in an appropriate way. With a smirk on his face he said "it's the middle of the night on a Friday, no one's here but me." Then he walked out. His name was Dr (I use that title loosely) Jeffrey Mason. I will be contacting a patient advocate on Monday and reporting the way he degraded me. The charge nurse and all the other nurses there advocated for me but he wouldn't budge. It was weird. They saw the pain I was in. All he saw was what he wanted to see. People like HIM should not be Dr's.

We were greeted with a friendly face at reception, followed by a full team is staff who assessed what tests were needed and took action. Dr. Jones and nurses were so very attentive. They listened even though they were definitely busy. Thanks to the staff and their treatment, my Mother's head pain was significantly reduced to a tolerable level. Thank you, Bon Secours staff.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone, especially those from minority backgrounds. The…read morecustomer service was absolutely terrible from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and showed zero compassion toward patients. What made it worse was the blatant racism. Staff members were visibly unwelcoming toward Asian and Muslim patients, and I personally witnessed them mocking ethnic names -- laughing among themselves in a way that was humiliating and completely unprofessional. This is a medical office, not a place where patients should have to tolerate discrimination. On top of that, their appointment policy is absurd. If you are even five minutes late -- despite traffic, parking, or any other reasonable circumstance -- they will cancel your appointment on the spot and move on without any grace or understanding. No call, no warning, no flexibility whatsoever. This place is not a welcoming environment. The behavior of the staff is harassing, disrespectful, and frankly unacceptable for any business -- let alone a healthcare provider. I urge anyone from a diverse background to look elsewhere for eye care where you will actually be treated with dignity.

Dr. Patel was approachable, engaged, and spent time explaining the results of the eye exam. She didn't make me feel as if I were imposing on her time. Overall, high marks for this business.

Wow, I made an excellent choice. It's a husband and wife and the wife was who I saw. I have all kinds of eye issues so I normally prefer a ophthalmologist. She was amazing on explaining a problem I have and referring me. The selection of glasses, the staff, the overall experience was excellent!

This is too bad, honestly, because it's a place absolutely dedicated to the best possible experience and the best possible fit for you and your eyes. They're very flexible and very familial, and dedicated to up-to-date technology and hand-crafted accuracy. I also deeply appreciate that they've always had good advice for me on how to afford something I -like-. I've never been upsold on anything, unlike larger commercial places, but I've never been sold anything that felt like a compromise either. It pays to note I am an inherited customer from my long-time optometrist [a dear man who kept careful notes so he could cheerfully ask me how life had gone since I saw him last]. It is a testament to the skill and warmth of Doctors Lindsay and Kurt Jung that I have not suffered the least hiccough or disappointment from the transition when he retired. As long as this office is open and I am within 200 miles of it, I will continue to come here, happily driving from out of town for the experience [which I am doing currently].
