Ok, where to start…read more.. (Slightly off topic) Years ago I worked for a company called IKON, and that name was an acronym for "I Know One Name"... after today "I Know One Name In Chicken" Wings. IKONIC WINGS!! We've lived in Grays harbor for 5 years, and all this time there are staples from Seattle that I continue to search for. A good sushi place. A good Chinese place, A good Reuben Sandwich. A good serving of wings. I came across a TikTok or Insta Reel about this place (as I've found many in Thurston that way) so I thought I'd check it out. The gal at the counter was very nice, we had a good conversation, we talked about the menu, the sides, and I asked her recommendation for sauces. She told me her couple and I went with it. I ordered a main sauce and then asked if the other sauce if they could be on the side so I could try a variety, and she said she could put them all on the side and I could try them out. (In hindsight I am glad I did because these travels 40 minutes back to grays harbor and they double dipped breading was still crunchy... YES!!! Still crunchy.side note: because we love rural I have a powered hot/cold box that keeps food warm or cold for long drives) The breading has great seasoning and flavor, the plain mean (after the first bite) is seasoned well and very tasty. The wings are very large, which is the way I like them. I tried the Buffalo and the Sweet Blaze, and they were both amazing. I dunked heavily and then topped with some bleu cheese... this is the ONLY wing joint I'll go to. (I think like the heat in the buffalo I think a little over the sweet) The honey biscuits were not too sweet, and very amazing. I couldn't try the Waddles as they were sold out but thats ok, I'll try them next time. The vegan cod is excellent. It's become a team name with my husband. I am eating the broccoli salad right now and am literally making love to it with my mouth. Is it the sunflower seeds? The red onions? Man, it's refreshing, small and guilt free (unlike my double screwdriver). This is a positive space. They help the community, no matter what they look like coming through the door. No need to stop by atm if you forgot to do so before the show. 15 minute intermission at the halftime of the 2-hourish burlesque show, which was enough time to do what you need. I think that they have bathroom here, but unsure of the cleanliness because I did not go. The stage that they perform at is cutely decorated with sparkly streamers and the volunteers do their best to clean the stage after each performed so that no slip-ups happen...and thankfully that did not occur during my time there! I like that the burlesque was prop-heavy for some performances because apparently it is not common in the burlesque scene. The emcee, dulce, did a great job to ensure that the crowd was enjoying their time while performers got ready. I wish that for the ticket, they specified how long the shows were. All tix said 1800 or 6PM start time, so pls look at your entire ticket order because you may be out in for the late-night show at 2100 or 9pm...espscially if that is what you ordered. anyway, the performers were super duper great. No complaints. Got my money's worth for my general admission ticket of $28.52. It is near the vip chairs, but vip got more crowd interaction with the performers dancing on them. if u want that, get vip tix! Not that much of a difference in pricing from what I remember. Another thing was that it would have been nice if they listed who the performers will be on the ticket order or on the front of the spot when you enter the door. Just better advertising would be nice so that even more people can see the talent!! Parking was good with the side street. Car did not get broken into...Read the signs, though! Usually, the side street parking is on the weekdays from 0800 to 1700, or 8AM to 5PM.
