I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and an order of cheesy bread. The pizza was on the toasty side and had a slight burnt taste to it. It was also significantly oily. The cheesy bread was the worst I've ever had. It was SOAKED in oil and it had a metallic taste. We threw this out right away. Very disappointed in this dominos. read more

The service is terrible. Their English is hard to understand. I ordered a delivery pizza because I couldn't leave the house, and the driver called me four times saying he was outside. I went out, and there was no one there -- he lied to me. I don't know if this person was a new employee or simply not capable of doing this kind of job. Later, someone from the store called me saying that if I still wanted the pizza, I had to go pick it up myself because, according to them, I gave the wrong address. Manager Michael is very nasty and rude. He ripped off my daughter who also works hard for her money. They delivered the food to the wrong address and refused to issue a refund. On top of that he was very rude. He's messing with the wrong people. I have reported this behavior to our entire town as well as corporate and my daughter's credit card company. Gross!!! I ordered from here last night. I got wings a medium pie and garlic knots. I was so sick immediately after. I drove to the store and I was shocked to see how dirty the kitchen area was. I am not sure if it's just this particular franchise or all of Domino's but this pizza is terrible!! They are currently advertising that they completely changed their pizza/sauce so it might be partially that but spare yourself. The sauce is gross and they are VERY stingy on the toppings. I ordered extra cheese and I swear it had LESS cheese than I would expect in a regular pizza. I will say their online ordering system is pretty nice because you can see what stage your pizza is at and when it gets sent out for delivery but that doesn't change the fact that the food leaves a LOT to be desired. Terrible, Terrible place - they give Dominos a bad name. We ordered 2 large Pizzas and a medium pizza, all vegetarian combinations - because we are veggie at home. However they messed up the order, sent us Ham and Pineapple pizzas. The extra items that we ordered they did not send with the order. When I called to complain they said they could not do anything about it and could not refund anything - I would have to call back and talk to the owner who comes in on Friday. So I come to this location all the time...I either carry out or get delivery...I am a home care nurse and I work overnight at a patients home near the cos cob location and it seems that every time I get delivery there is an issue...i ordered pizza from them tonight and they came and apparently knocked on the door...i didn't hear them...so when 30 mins went by I called the store to ask what had happened to my pizza..the guy that picked up the phone was rude and told me the delivery guy left...which ok I get it If I didn't answer the door so then as I'm trying to ask if they were going to try and re deliver it he hangs up so I called back and told him he was rude! So then he tells me that he doesn't know when they were going to deliver it...then 30 mins go by and he called back telling me that the delivery guy said he didn't want to come and delivery my pizza ! When I called to find out what the heck was going on, I was told that Domino's online order estimator didn't mean poop (what do you think of that national Domino's?). In my online review at that time, I requested a phone call, gave my phone number, and never got one. When I called them, a women told me "we do the best we can, get over it. I'd give them more stars but I'm highly disappointed. First let me say the pizza itself is good but the size was so disappointing. I was expecting a large not a small. I ordered a Brooklyn style pizza because of the fact my mother doesn't like a thick crust. If it had been mentioned to me that due to the style I would not be receiving an actual large and just only 6 slices then I would have just said screw to the style and order a regular large pizza. How the hell am I suppose to feed a family of four with just six slices, the medium has more slices than that and probably bigger than what I received. When I called to question it I am asked if I want to order another one...... NO!! I would have liked to received a large cheese pizza that I had paid for, not this excuse for a large. Wondering if this location changed hands recently. Service used to be spot on, delivery quick. A few weeks ago delivery took over an hour and the cinnamon twists tasted like buffalo sauce. I ended up driving to the store with them and got a look like I was crazy. They gave me a replacement so I figured ok, maybe it was a busy night. The last time I ordered and was going to pick it up. I waited until the website said it was ready and went to the store. I walked in and no one asked my name, just said I had to wait. Take your money and go to a real restaurant; they wouldn't honor the corporate coupons, didn't give us some of our order and the pizza was awful: super spicy sauce, slimy cheese and chewy tough dough, all of it resulting in a stomach ache. $60 to feed 5 people a couple of slices each, that's it. When my family and I do order out for pizza, we usually order from our local Domino's in Cos Cob, CT. They are normally pretty good about getting the order right and delivering on time and hot. On the one occasion that we decided to pick it up instead of having it delivered, we checked out the pizzas before we left the store. Unfortunately the order wasn't correct. It was already late in the night, we had hungry teenagers at home and the order wasn't too far off from what we HAD ordered that we were willing to wait for it to be redone. We politely refused the managers offer and said, "not to worry about it." We just wanted to get home, feed the kids and get them in bed. After arriving home, we got a phone call from the store manager and he offered to comp our next order because we had a profile on Domino's website and he could tell that we were loyal customers. Having 5 teenagers who love pizza probably didn't hurt. We thanked him for the offer and assured him that this wouldn't be the last time we order from Domino's. Fast forward to my daughter's birthday. We placed an order online and then contacted the manager to remind him of his offer. He adjusted the total and the pizza's were delivered. Since it was a larger order than usual, we sill had to pay for some of the pizzas. Which I fully expected to do. After the pizzas arrived and 14 teenage girls started to devour the pizza, we were surprised to see that no one wanted to have a second slice. I asked the girls what was wrong with the pizza's and their response was, "they taste burnt and like they've been through a fire in a tire factory." I then got a slice for my husband and I to try and the girls description was spot on. It was terrible and I didn't even take a second bite. We tossed the pizza's in the garbage and ordered from different restaurant. I've never had that experience from Domino's before and haven't had that experience since. I'm led to believe that when we took the store up on their offer to comp some of the pizza's because of their previous mistake, this upset/bothered the manager or possible the store employees and our pizza's were deliberately prepared badly. I'm not really sure how that burnt tire flavor can be put into every pizza that was delivered that day. I used to work at a pizza joint as a teenager myself and it still baffles me to this day. My suggestion is, to always pay for your pizza's and if they screw up your order, then you just need to live with it or don't take the order at all.
