A lot of these reviews had the same problem but it's more than likely that they called and had an attitude with the employee on the phone. Kent the delivery driver forgot items in our order. We told him when he delivered and he got mad at us and acted like it was our fault. That is stealing my money when I purchase something with no end product. Kent looked very unprofessional and ungroomed. His shirt was un tucked with very messy hair. We called the store to see if we could get credit for those missing items because by the time Kent came back with them it would be late. The manager Leah said she gave us store credit but blew us off and didn't acknowledge our name or address. This store is stealing customers money and need retraining on providing service. We ordered our food online at 4:29. A few minutes later we noticed a small typo in the delivery address that would've had the food delivered to our neighbors. We called to correct the address, but the lady who picked up was extremely rude and aggressive right off the bat. She wouldn't let my friend finish his sentences or even explain the reason for the call. He tried to give his name for the order but she interrupted him saying that she knew who the order was for (not sure how she would've known that). I was sitting about six feet away from my friend and could hear the lady yelling at him on the phone (it was not on speaker). She said she knew what we wanted and ended the call. The original order estimated time for delivery was 5:30. Between 5:30 and 6pm, my friend called the store multiple times as the app did not show any progress on our order. At 6:03pm, I called the store on my phone and the same lady picked up. I politely explained that I was calling to check on our order. This employee placed me on hold four times (without warning) during our brief call. She eventually explained that they had no drivers to deliver the food (which obviously wasn't their fault, but they also didn't let us know this until we called) and asked if we wanted a refund. I paused and looked at my friend to get his input, but within that short pause (2 seconds max) the employee yelled, "HELLOOOO?!" On the phone. I informed her that I need just a moment to check with my friend. She put me on hold again. About thirty seconds later, a man answers the phone and said "I'm sorry, she kept putting you on hold for no reason so I took over." He explained that he was the manager. I explained our situation and the employee's behavior to him. I let him know that we were upset that they couldn't find a driver (though a follow up would've been preferred) but that the employee's behavior and attitude towards us was unacceptable and shocking. The manager apologized and offered a refund (for the food that we would not be getting). He said he would follow up with the employee, however his tone appeared dismissive and he did not offer any other way to make things right. We're not searching for free food, however the only thing we got was a refund (again for the food we did not get) and a halfhearted apology. We don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was so bad it was borderline ridiculous. We were both shocked at the way we were talked to when we had both been polite when we called. This is not my first time having issues here but I figured the last time was a fluke (last time: ordered online and waited 2 hours past the delivery time and ended up driving there just to be told they gave my pizzas away and had to wait an additional hour for them to make my order again). EVERYONE at this location needs to be fired the last FOUR times I've ordered for delivery here I have had issues with not only the delivery but also the customer service they provide over the phone, I've been hung up on and lied to multiple times. The first time they have claimed to have delivered my order but never did. The second time their "phones weren't working" but I heard it ring when I went into the store to pick up my order that I never got. The third time I was told that someone with my name and phone number came in and picked up my delivery order? But I did not...they tried to argue with me about it and hung up in my face without a refund. Worst dominoes with worst service ever. The manager is probably the rudest individual I've seen in a service business. I walked in to get my order bc the app said it was ready. She says what's the name. I tell her. She then replies "it's not ready. What the board say?" I reply "it's ready." She replies "Yeah like I said it's not ready if it was ready the board would say it's ready." I tell her again that's that's what it says and she says "well it's wrong and walks off. Read the other reviews for this location, they're all true. Online order cancelled for no reason, and waited on the phone for 30 minutes with no answer. Order from any other pizza place for better service. A shame cause most dominoes are extremely efficient. I feel like a Karen but I contacted corporate and will be following through as much as possible to either get this place acknowledged by higher management and either fire the current manager for poor business that reflects poorly on their business, or just close the location. I ordered a pizza a little over an hour ago. The tracker will not update to tell us if it is even being prepared and the store isn't answering their phone at all, we've been trying to call for about half an hour to no response. Really unacceptable to take people's money and then just ignore them. If there is an issue, COVID or otherwise, the least they can do is communicate there is an issue rather than shutting off phones but continuing to take orders. read more

I have worked in food service for a few years including a Papa Johns and i've always been SUPER understanding because i know what it's like for people to be upset at something you can't control, but this store just isn't it. I understand short staffing. I know things are hard on the job front these days, but clearly there is more to the problem then that. Domino's pizza is about the only pizza joint that will deliver to our home. That earns them a star right off the bat. Sometime we call in a order and sometimes we order online. Our grandchildren love us to order on line so they can watch us build the pizza. Then they love to watch the process bar and give us updates until the pizza gets here. That is almost better then the pizza it self. Anyway they have had our pizza and other stuff we ordered here within 30 minutes of ordering, so there is star number 2. Now the pizza is good not the best in the world but better then the other pizza chains. And their chicken wings are good too but they are on the small size. Good pizza, you get it like you like it, especially if you order online. As many or as little toppings as you want. Ordering was very easy. I love being able to see when they receive the order and the processing. My Pizza was hot and delicious when it was delivered by a very nice young man. They aren't slow or anything, I think because of technology, we've gotten to be too demanding and want too much instant gratification, and when we don't get things in OUR idea of when is long enough, we are disappointed. Let me begin by saying prior to experiencing the pizza from the Domino's in Hopewell, I was a fan of Domino's Pizza. I have a friend who owns a store in New Haven, Ct and I loved it when we ate there. In regards to this one the best I can say is the drivers seem to be friendly. Every time I have ordered from this location the pizza has taken over and hour to receive it and once they just didn't show up! The ingredients are sparse and the cheese can't be found. The only thing they seem to allow you to appreciate is the sauce. There is so much on the pie that it literally drips off. When I have complained they do offer to send another one but let's face it... a bad pizza at any price is bad. read more

Everything in this store (not the DQ side) as far as shelf items were purchased at the dollar tree and they are selling it for 3 times what they paid for it. Crooked ass place. Do yourself a favor if you need condiments... go straight to dollar tree and cut out the middle man. And they trying to sell hot ass beer for bar prices. Very disappointed with my experience at this Dairy Queen. My husband and I ordered the $5 buck lunch deals. We got back to our room and realized that neither one of us received a Sunday. We opened the boxes to see the smallest chicken strips you could ever serve anyone. We also ordered a chicken strip kids meal for our son and for his side we ordered a apple sauce. The picture of the apple sauce on the menu shows Gogo Squeez. I checked the bag after we arrived at our room and they gave him something called lucky leaf unsweetened apple sauce. If I would have known that's what he was getting I would have ordered him French fries instead. But when I walked in with my family to get a bite to eat granting it the nostalgia of college, I should have turned around. There were two patrons, but every table was dirty. The bacon, which came out ten minutes after my meal, looked like something that falls out the rear end of my dog when she eats too many bones. It really took five times to get our order half way straight. We were also overcharged $7. The southern feel of this city could be a bit much for out-of-towners. The staff is constantly complaining, they're unorganized, and customers can hear it all. Makes for an awkward meal. Food is great though. Can't complain about that. But overall the atmosphere makes this place worth getting take out rather than dining in. Or just go to Cracker Barrel and have a better overall experience. We walked out after being sat and treated rudely. Plates were dirty and they do NOT allow you to share a meal with a child. So our 4 kids would be charged 25.00 per person. Now I would say the food was great but quite honestly it was the same as if I had been at Benihana's or any other Japanese steakhouse....sad really because it's not just the food but the environment which is where this spot fails miserably. They are very close to a military base and they (staff) are apparently spoiled by the big tips and constant flow of customers (mind you not regular customers). They don't care to treat anyone special because as many military do they move and new troops come in, so it's perpetual business for them. Just another day for the dollar and they don't give any extras. If you want class, don't eat here, go outside your comfort zone and check out Wabi-Sabi, Petersburg (locally owned), or a few other mom and pops who want to please their customers and give you bang for your buck.
