My wife and I have lived here in Lago for roughly 6yrs now and have ordered from the local Domino's numerous times. Unfortunately, the quality of service has slowly declined to the point that it's literally become a last resort for a food option. As in "LAST RESORT". They continually get our order wrong, forget things, or just convey a lack of pride in their product. Most recently my wife put in an order that cost $50 for a pizza, sandwich and soda. That's absolutely insane! They ended up getting my sandwich wrong and it had to be delivered. When it came, my buffalo chicken sandwich only had chicken on half. Had a hard time parking as employee's take up most spaces. Sign in front "under New Management". I thought good but when I sent a complaint to Domino's the owner sent me an email. Same owner and he said parking is a problem. He also said he tried to have the shopping center give him designated parking. I said maybe your staff should not park in front of the building! There is never enough drives and the manager doesn't care about customer service. Tracker shows pizza done 35 minutes ago so I called manager and asked when to expect it. He says at least another 30 minutes which is over an hour after it comes out of oven under a heat lamp. I told him it would be dried up by then and asked if he would eat it like that and he said yes. I'm going to wait and see how bad it is before reporting to Domino's. And now you know why Lago Vista Dominos has such bad reviews. We need and new owner and employees. It's a very convenient option for anyone living in or visiting Lago Vista, but the convenience seems to be the only positive aspect of this establishment. They won't deliver to Point Venture, so we have to drive to the delivery spot to meet our driver, which isn't a huge deal, and our driver was friendly and timely and held good communication with us. However, when we got home and looked at what we received, it was very disappointing. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, with bread twists and a cup of marinara sauce. Our pizza was incorrect, only having pepperoni on it as well as having a pathetic amount of cheese on the pizza. It was basically cold pizza crust with pizza sauce and a few pepperonis. And the bread twists were horrible. They were cold and soggy, and the tiniest excuse of a bread stick I've ever seen. The super tiny pieces were also super crunchy and tasted slightly burnt. So is this really a meal of convenience if I have to drive to a place to get it, or if my entire order is severely disappointing? I would only recommend this Domino's Pizza if you're truly stuck at home with no other option, or just really want to sloppy, sad pizza. read more

I can doctor up frozen pizza to taste better. I have ordered and paid for Double Italian sausage, Double Pepperoni and Double cheese. It doesn't matter. They just put on the same skimpy portions of "single amounts"; and charge me Double. I hate to complain. But one time I opened up the box on their counter top prior to leaving. I asked "does this look like DOUBLE to you? They made a new pizza CORRECTLY immediately. They were apologetic, and told me to take the incorrect pizza home with me. THAT'S GREAT! BUT, I would have to complain in the same fashion EVERYTIME, for them to make it right. Why can't they just make IT CORRECTLY the FIRST TIME? They must hire 14 year olds because these people have zero customer service or personal skills. Well, after much thought, I feel it's necessary to post this review. We normally order Pizza and they are good pizzas, they are fast food. I deviated from our usual order of pizza and looked at the menu. The picture of Chicken Parmesan Alfredo looked good, so I ordered that item. Delivery was rapid, timely and courteous as always. But when I opened the pan of Chicken Parm and found that it was not like the advertised picture, I was disappointed. The quantity of product appeared to be 1/2 of what was pictured. I contacted the HQ of Dominos, and received apologies and 2 free pastas if I wanted them. Which was nice. When I asked about the difference between the advertised picture and the delivered product, I received this answer : "UNFORTUNATELY THE PRODUCT DOESN'T ALWAYS LOOK LIKE THE PICTURES. WE HAVE FOOD QUALITY STANDARDS THAT WE HAVE TO FOLLOW. PORTION GUIDES AND SUCH. 5.5 OZ OF PASTA, 2 OZ OF CHICKEN AND 4 OUNCES OF ALFREDO SAUCE. WHEN THIS PARTICULAR PASTA IS COOKED, IT SETTLES QUITE A BIT DUE TO NOT MANY INGREDIENTS. Called in to Dominos. Spoke to a girl who took my order. Large pepperoni, she asked if I wanted hand tossed or not, I said yes. I requested cheesy bread and the cookie brownie thing. She stated that would be something like $36.00 and a 20-30 minute wait. No big deal. Asked if I can pay over the phone or pay at carry out. Carry out the lady responded. I arrive at the appointed time, see my name up on the dominos tracker tv with a green check saying "Ready." Girl, I presume the same one, asks if she can help. I point to my name stating I'm here for pickup for Cody. She taps the screen, looks at the tv, taps some more then with a confused face says she can't find my order. She proceeds to wander about checking receipts then tells me that it'll be another 10-20 minutes. I'm assuming they've forgotten my order. Again no big deal. Here's their chance to make it right. I sit down and wait. And wait. And wait some more. People coming in grabbing their orders, delivery drivers making their rounds. A regular walks in and everyone hoops and hollers for that guy. High fives all around cause so and so showed up. Nobody acknowledges me. Some of the guys working begin making side glances as I continue to wait. After 45 minutes I stand up. Ask the same girl how much longer. She says she'll check up on it. Asks the dude directly behind her and he says he never got an order from me. To which now I'm frustrated. I state how is it that my name is on y'all's tv stating that my order is ready yet nobody can find my info. The girl asks me to reorder for the 3rd time, but I decline and walk out. I understand worker shortages, chaos in the moment, and mistakes happen. However, there is absolutely no reason why something like this should happen. All those people saw me waiting. Side glances was all I received and no one took action for their failure. So glad that I didn't pre-pay because who knows how long that would've taken. Ike the owner is a terrible boss will fire employees out of the blue, I was fired for taking off work thinking I have COVID ( no taste no smell ) after a negative test still feeling sick gave me no option but to come work a closing shift I stayed until 4am that night.. was sacked by the time I woke up the next morning. I ordered two things of breadsticks and they gave me the completely wrong order, which is fine because everyone makes mistakes. They told us we could have our next order free and we told them that we wanted to order our bread sticks again. Following a meatless, cheeseless diet isn't always easy. At the Dominos in Lago Vista I can ask for no cheese, and load my pizza with vegetable toppings. When I ask for 4 or 5 toppings they load it up like I've never seen anywhere else (maybe Schlotzsky's comes close). If you ask for the gluten free crust (which sadly only comes in small) this can be a vegan, gluten free pizza. (Suitable for those with diets that don't allow for meat, dairy or eggs). Best of all, my pizzas are always just as good as the last. The garlic sauce is also vegan (primarily coconut oil based) and taste great on the pizza or when dipped into by the crust. My order is usually ready in no more than 15 minutes. I've never had to show up and wait when I order carry out, even if I leave straight from my house after placing the order. (The online tracker also allows you to check on your pizza step by step as it's being made, which is kinda fun if the 12-15 minute wait still makes you impatient.) The only downside to this meal: it's way too expensive for the quantity. A pizza without cheese simply does not fill you up the same, even when loaded with toppings, although you pay exactly the same amount. I'd be happier to order from here if dropping the cheese allowed me to add another topping of my choice in its place. It's not like I'm getting extra sauce or anything to compensate.. But all in all, I will continue to order from this location anytime I desire a handcrafted, ready to eat fast pizza. read more

Pizza was good, driver was nice, customer service was terrible. Ordered at 8:07pm for delivery at Point Venture, 7 miles from the store. The store confirmed the order and an expected 40 minute delivery timeframe. At 9:00pm we called and they explained that they were busy and a driver should be on their way. At 9:40pm, we called again and the employee explained that with the special they ran online and college football, they were busier than expected. He didn't have an explanation for why we were given a 40 minute delivery time nor why it took over an hour and a half. After asking multiple times if there was anything that they could do or if this was standard, the gentleman finally offered a free pizza towards a future order. We still had not received the pizzas so I requested him to apply the free pizza to the current order. He explained that if he were to do that, it would require him calling the driver because they are expecting full payment and that could be too confusing. Very disappointing. Got my order wrong, only gave me one pizza when I ordered two (with the wrong sauce). Called them, stated would bring 2 more pizzas "this time" as if it was my fault.
