I'm not sure if that's because they used less pepper to prepare mine (originally, he brought them out but when he sat them down on the table, he took them back saying he forgot seasoning and brought them back shortly after with pepper flakes on them) Either way, the wings themselves tasted good. But not a stellar "hot" wing flavor to really hype me up. They run a number of specials, though, like $1 per wing sometime during the week. And I saw they had some weekday combos as well. Overall, they seem pretty affordable and they are a local business so I hope they do well! I may come back one more time to try it and get a final verdict on the heat and flavors to get takeout. They also kept favorites like the cauliflower wings and deviled eggs, which have always been solid. Drink-wise, my friend ordered an espresso martini. I started with the Paloma, but it tasted a little too sweet for me--the grapefruit juice seemed off. I switched to a glass of Pinot Noir and was happy.
