I ordered through the app and chose to drive to the restaurant and pickup my order to-go. The pizza was ready quickly, and the quality was good. But, I was asked to tip twice. Once when I ordered, and again when I picked up the order. I think tipping is for personal service like delivery or table service, and I'm happy to tip well under those circumstances. However, if I drive to a takeout only pizza place and pickup my pizza, who would I tip, and why would I tip? I even used Apple Pay when I made the order, but they just did a pending charge so they could try again for an unearned tip when I arrived. read more

Better than it used to be. Domino's was serving cardboard pizza for a few years but they have turned it around. I was surprised how good the pizza is now. I ordered a pizza for carry-out to take back to my hotel the other night. When I tried to remove a slice the pizza was not cut deep enough to cleanly remove a slice. I literally had to tear the pizza into pieces to eat. SO WHY THE FIVE STAR REVIEW??? After eating I noticed their Tracker App was still on my phone and a "Let us know how we did" box was there. I filled out the box explaining the order issue. Within two minutes my phone rings and to my surprise, it's Dominoes! The employee tells me that they saw my remarks and I explained that while the pizza was good, I had to tear it to eat it. She said they would be happy to make me another. I told her I had eaten and was full. She informed me that they would place a marker or something or other on my account for a future free pizza. I gotta tell you, I applaud this team and Dominoes for their commitment to customer service. read more

This review isn't based solely as much on the food as it is the service. I order from this location every time I am in town (about every 2-3 weeks) because they have my mom's favorite pizza. I always order the same thing, 1 white pizza (occasionally 2) and 1 order of garlic bites. ALWAYS. I always have it delivered because I can't leave her alone. About 6 weeks or so ago, I ordered our food. It got delivered. When I went to serve it, it was the wrong kind of pizza. I called to get my order corrected and the manager was so RUDE. She advised that I could come pick up a new pizza. I couldn't leave the house, hence the delivery. She said if I wanted a new order delivered it would be 2-3 hours! I said that was not acceptable and she said those were my options. She said she would put a free pizza on my account which to my knowledge she didn't do. Last night, I ordered our standard order. Again, for delivery. It took 20 minutes from the time the delivery driver left the store until he got to the house (7 minute drive max) so I already knew the food was not going to be hot. I watched him make at least one, possibly two deliveries on the map before coming to us. The food was indeed luke warm by the time it got here. After he left I went to serve the food and the order was wrong. They sent a jalapeño cheese bread instead of garlic knots. I called the store and the guy said the driver must have mixed up the orders; however, the pizza was correct so I knew that probably wasn't the case. He said he would send the driver with the correct order. I told him that would be great. Fast forward 17 hours, I have not seen or heard from Dominos. read more

Third time is the charm. After calling for an order of pasta and a small pizza and no one showing up in an hour and 15 minutes I called the store and ask why. They said the order has not left the store yet. Didn't recommend any discount or anything when canceled. The first two times they were over an hour also. Ordered food at 8:50, it is now 11:15 and still have not received food! Was told it would take one hour. Called to check in and they said food got in at 10:05. Called back a third time and found out that driver came back to their store with our order because couldn't find common address. I would love to leave a glowing review but considering NO ONE would answer the phone after calling numerous times and being left on hold listening to their recording about how someone would be right with us, we just assumed they weren't in business anymore. After many failed attempts to eat in ruidoso we decided to just order a pizza ... and wow it was delicious , arrived hot , fast and our customized pizza was perfect !!!! This place is seemingly the last place open past 9pm in the New Mexico. Is it good? It's dominos. Is it pizza? It is surely, and don't call me pizza. But, these guys are pretty cool. Placed my order at 10:46pm on a Saturday. All apps, the website, even google say this place closes at 1am. Tracked my pizza and got concerned when an hour passed, and I noticed the tracker was stuck on "perfection check" for about 20 minutes. Tried calling the only number I could find for the location and kept getting a busy signal. DROVE to the location and found it was closed at 12am. I was lucky enough to catch 2 employees outside who very rudely told me they were closed, 1.5 hours behind on deliveries, and that my order was about to be out for delivery. I asked them to just give me my pizza now since I was already there. They gave it to me out of a delivery bag COLD. At least my order was made correctly. This is the THIRD time where I have ordered from this place in a row! I keep giving it chances but this is multiple times where all of which has happened: 1. It took over an hour for delivery. (I live less than 5 miles from this location) 2. While taking this long, obviously the food was cold. 3. They told me my condiments were in the box. Literally the worst managed dominos I've ever encountered. You place an order. The app says approximate delivery time 20-30 minutes. An hour and a half later your pizza still isn't ready. Terrible staff, horrible customer service and I've been delivered RAW pizza before. Literally, pizza dough instead of pizza crust. I'd give them zero stars if I could. If you call to confirm your order they can't find it half the time, if you call to try and get an update because your app said the driver was on the way 40 minutes ago, they get upset... and usually let you know the driver hasn't even left yet. Very problematic, not worth the trouble, because believe me, it is troubling to order from them. read more

We ordered pizza online and within 30 minutes it was delivered! It was supper fast, and the pizzas were fresh and delicious! Our delivery driver even brought us some paper plates which was extremely sweet and considerate (we were staying in a hotel). After waiting two hours I called and was told the order had been cancelled because they could not get a hold of me. I had left two cell phone numbers and waited 1 1/2 hours in the spot I told them I would meet the driver. No remorse no apology just incompetence and mediocracy.
