Pork Chashu Bun, Beef Bulgogi Bun, rice and Edamame Soy Bean. Generous portions.

Very cute cafe across from Firestone very convenient while having service done. The food is great made to order and quick. From poke bowls to steamed buns, and Ramen this cafe has it all. Absolutely a great place to relax sip on a bubble tea or smoothie and enjoy the family friendly vibes. This place is a hidden gem. There is ample parking and enough seating available for a small group. Happy Eating Yeeps!!!

I want to start this by saying, I go to domoishi, all the time, and I wanted to try something new. I'd ordered my food and gone right home after receiving it, I didn't check it in store, and I will admit, that was my fault, I just thought it would all be fine because I have never had an issue before. I ordered a the new beef curry bowl, and was served a bowl with 3/4 rice and 1/4 curry, that was mostly potatoes and little to no broth. On top of that it had eggs, and cucumber on top, which is fine, but the description did not contain those item. I contacted the establishment and they let me know that is their normal serving sizes despite my concern. The curry is beyond mid, I will never order it again, and I may never go to this particular Domoishi again. Don't waste your time ordering this dish, it's basically all rice and no curry and you will be disappointed. I will say the girl working up front was so sweet when I told her. I love this spot, and I've never had any problems until now. Very disappointed, very dissatisfied. In the picture I did mix it together. Sorry, I wasn't sure I was going to make this review, but you can literally see the massive amount of rice they served. There was quite literally five bites of curry that I ate before taking this picture. I measured and the bowl is about 3 1/2 inches in depth, and that mostly rice, as you can see, and you can tell there was barely any broth catherine rice isn't even discolored how it would be with an abundance of curry.

As a part-time "Doordasher", I delivered food from this restaurant many times before. The atmosphere is bright, you can order from either a kiosk or the register. I've always wanted to try the ramen bowls, but didn't get down to it until now; let's quickly say I couldn't stop eating the bowl. The chicken base added flavor along with the shredded beef, and it's a good portion. Now let me say that the bowl I got was a little pricey-for me. On the same token, it was so good I would buy it again and again. Not to mention, this location is where I love to be; it's a must to try the location near my home as well!

Domoishi is very good but very expensive. The poke bowls taste great, and are filling, but they cost 15 dollars. I usually skip the food and just get milk tea. My favorite is the classic Thai tea with brown sugar boba.

I really enjoyed my Poke Bowl today, and my son liked his Ramen Bowl! We both enjoyed our drinks - Coffee Latte and an Amber both with bobas! The gentleman at the counter was super nice and helpful, and all of the staff were working hard to get the orders out quickly! This was my second time there and I enjoyed it both times! Nice change of pace!

This Domoishi is the very first poke restaurant in the Western Branch area. They have another location at College Drive, but for some reason, they haven't opened yet (2 years after I first noticed it). As a poke fanatic, I was so excited that a poke place is nearby. I've been to 4 other Domoishis before and my experience were 2-3 stars on those other for locations. With than in mind, I wasn't expecting too much from this location and I was just planning to go here whenever I didn't want tor drive to Battlefield for my favorite (and still is) poke restaurant. But I was wrong... I will start first with the things that makes this place similar to all the other Domoishis. They offer poke, korean chicken wings, and ramen. They also have milk teas and some asian appetizers like Takoyaki. When it comes to ordering, you can choose between ordering in person at the register, or through their iPads. When it comes to ordering poke, I am very opposed to these kinds of ordering because I like to order as they put it in my bowl. At the same time, I like seeing the amount of toppings they put on my bowl. I want light rice and heavy on the crab salad and seaweed salad. We can notate it when we order using the iPad (which took me 4 visits to figure it out) and letting the staff know, but I still think they are not putting the proportions that I want especially when it comes to rice. Once you pay for your order, you will get a number and they will prepare for your food. The wait is within 5-10 minutes so it is not that bad. The staff weren't as friendly compared to all the other poke places in the area. I think they only talk to me when they tell me that my food is ready. As for the differences, this location is probably the most generous when it comes to their portions. This is why this location stands out among all the other Domoishi. This is also the reason why I am giving them 4 stars. They do not have that much toppings compared to Poketastic (which is my favorite poke place), but they're toppings are good too. I also tried their mango smoothie, but there's something about it that i can't pinpoint that I am not a fan of. I think I liked the other locations' mango smoothie more. This is the only Domoishi location, where I tried their ramen. I was impressed with the presentation. The ramen bowl is separated into 2. The lower portion is the broth and the top are the toppings. While the flavor and the broth are delicious. While making it spicy is an extra charge, I love how spicy my ramen tastes, but maybe next time, I will ask if they can make it spicier (once I figure out how to notate in the iPad). I am not impressed that the noodles looked like they are instant noodles and are not fresh. They look like they were fresh from the package. Overall, this Domoishi is probably the best Domoishi among all the Domoishis. Since all the other poke and ramen restaurants are 30 minutes away from me (if I opt out on tolls) , I will be a regular in this location especially if I don't want to drive too far. Hopefully, they will add more veggies on their poke so I won't have to add those when I get home.

Nicely packaged! I got the jasmine milk tea with boba, poke bowl & the pot stickers! Very good. I ordered for pickup but the server was willing to give me a side of the wasabi sauce when picking up :)

Flow was consistent but not disruptive. Very clean and server was very attentive. Bathroom (women) was nicely decorated and clean; felt homey. Music not loud, but not dead silent either. I invited a friend who just came back from Taiwan. So wanted something Asian, but not Chinese. This was it! My new go to place for Ramen. Egg is my soup was on point with flavor! Almost ordered an extra but got extra broth instead. About that broth! It was full bodied, but definitely not pasty. The chili oil made even more robust and carried the soup ingredients well. As you can tell, I was quite content. Going back to try some sushi and appetizers. Just wanted something warm for my sore throat and the soup hit the spot!

Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. Our waitress, Cathy, already seemed visibly annoyed while helping another table. Shortly after we were seated, she walked over and turned off the "Open" sign even though the restaurant was still supposed to be open for another 35-40 minutes. When I asked if we could have about five minutes to quickly look over the menu, Cathy told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes, which made us feel rushed into ordering. We completely understand that staff may want to finish up at closing time, but customers arriving during posted business hours should still feel welcomed. We ended up leaving without ordering because we felt so rushed and uncomfortable. That was especially disappointing because the restaurant looked great, and based on the menu and reviews, the food seemed like it would have been excellent. We were really looking forward to trying it, but the service experience made us decide to leave instead. Hopefully, management addresses this so future guests feel welcome throughout the restaurant's posted business hours.

I had the Ebi (shrimp) curry ramen. The curry was very flavorful but different than both Jamaican and Indian curries. I don't like that they keep the tails on the shrimp even though it's in the ramen. I also had salmon rice balls as well as Shumai. The shumai was good and so were the rice balls, but never having had rice balls, they weren't what I was expecting. I expected them to have meat in them but it was just rice with salmon flavored powder. We also added hot green tea to our meal. While not anything special, I do like to end my meal this way. The service was pretty good but we didn't like that our waitress stood next to our table from the moment we sat down. We felt pressured to hurry up and order, and it just made things awkward. She was very attentive though. This restaurant is your typical local Japanese style restaurant. Very authentic in its feel and decor - nothing fancy, basic service. But if you like more authentic type dishes vs chain restaurants, I think this is a place to try! Oh, I will also add this place was alot less expensive than places like Domoishi! I give it a 3 star because I feel neutral about it - not because anything was super wrong about it!

Sophia and I drove from the Peninsula to see if the trek was worth the experience. We were greeted by one of the hostesses and seated immediately. Around the dining area, the decor is covered with anime material. From artwork to figurines to even them showing an anime movie, it's pretty neat especially if you're a fan. And foot traffic started to pick up after we got seated. Great timing for the both of us. After a few minutes, we were ready to order. For apps, we picked Age Dashi Tofu. This one took a minute because I'm used to soft tofu, but the mid-firm was fine. Each piece was fried nicely with each ingredient working together. For my main dish, I chose one of their specials, szechuan style spicy beef noodle (ramen). Very good stuff. The beef shank was cooked perfectly along with good amount of bok choy and scallions for the veggie portion. At first, I worried about the spice level, but it was mild and not having yours truly cough up a storm. All in all, a great experience at such a quaint spot. This won't be the last time you'll see us. More great stuff to try. Till next time :)
