This is a great place to order and bounce. I like to order online and just place a time to pickup. They've been spot on every time. It's hard to go wrong with such a simple model. The vast array of options to select from as far as 'modding' your dish are quite endless. Having these options makes it fun for keeping things fresh. I will add that the parking lot issue still stands. Definitely park near the back or the side. Don't ever trap yourself in from Starbucks' long line of folks. I want to start this by saying, I go to domoishi, all the time, and I wanted to try something new. I'd ordered my food and gone right home after receiving it, I didn't check it in store, and I will admit, that was my fault, I just thought it would all be fine because I have never had an issue before. I ordered a the new beef curry bowl, and was served a bowl with 3/4 rice and 1/4 curry, that was mostly potatoes and little to no broth. On top of that it had eggs, and cucumber on top, which is fine, but the description did not contain those item. I contacted the establishment and they let me know that is their normal serving sizes despite my concern. The curry is beyond mid, I will never order it again, and I may never go to this particular Domoishi again. Don't waste your time ordering this dish, it's basically all rice and no curry and you will be disappointed. I will say the girl working up front was so sweet when I told her. I love this spot, and I've never had any problems until now. Very disappointed, very dissatisfied. In the picture I did mix it together. Sorry, I wasn't sure I was going to make this review, but you can literally see the massive amount of rice they served. As a part-time "Doordasher", I delivered food from this restaurant many times before. The atmosphere is bright, you can order from either a kiosk or the register. I've always wanted to try the ramen bowls, but didn't get down to it until now; let's quickly say I couldn't stop eating the bowl. The chicken base added flavor along with the shredded beef, and it's a good portion. Now let me say that the bowl I got was a little pricey-for me. I've been waiting to try Domoishi for a while. While I was out doing deliveries, I passed this location and walked inside. They were playing 90s and 2000s country, just as any quality Asian eatery would. The restaurant was kept very clean, that's always key. First of all, credit for having Wi-Fi and having the password painted on the back wall. Ordering was a little bit interesting as they have 3 kiosks where you can select your meal and pay for it as well. Now I'm a little bit of a novice when it comes to ordering poke or these types of bowls. And they had so many sauces to choose from, that I really wasn't sure what to go with. I guess I didn't want to annoy the staff by asking questions, so I just went with 6 wings and an order of 2 veggie spring rolls. I thought about ordering one of their fruit teas, but $5.95 seemed like too much for me. The food was ready in a little less than 10 minutes. I got 3 regular soy garlic wings and 3 spicy soy garlic wings. They were pretty small wings, but they had that nice crispiness that is trademark of any good Korean wing. The spicy sauce only had a mild to moderate level of heat, nothing overwhelming though. The two rolls were served with a sweet chili sauce, super crispy on the outside. Pretty nice app. I had a fair experience, though maybe I didn't get the most out of my visit. read more

Cheating the customer on the price for Korean fried chicken wings. I paid $19.95 for 2 orders of 12-piece Korean wings total $39.90 thru Doordash. The lady at Domoishi confirm the price at $14.95 to pick up. Their website does not display the price on their menu. She mentioned they have nothing to do with the pricing at Doordash. Meanwhile, Doordash support team confirmed "the prices are provided by the restaurant; they're the only one who can update these prices" Try to get a manager was impossible. Domoishi is very good but very expensive. The poke bowls taste great, and are filling, but they cost 15 dollars. I usually skip the food and just get milk tea. My favorite is the classic Thai tea with brown sugar boba. read more

This Domoishi is the very first poke restaurant in the Western Branch area. They have another location at College Drive, but for some reason, they haven't opened yet (2 years after I first noticed it). As a poke fanatic, I was so excited that a poke place is nearby. I've been to 4 other Domoishis before and my experience were 2-3 stars on those other for locations. With than in mind, I wasn't expecting too much from this location and I was just planning to go here whenever I didn't want tor drive to Battlefield for my favorite (and still is) poke restaurant. But I was wrong... I will start first with the things that makes this place similar to all the other Domoishis. They offer poke, korean chicken wings, and ramen. They also have milk teas and some asian appetizers like Takoyaki. When it comes to ordering, you can choose between ordering in person at the register, or through their iPads. When it comes to ordering poke, I am very opposed to these kinds of ordering because I like to order as they put it in my bowl. At the same time, I like seeing the amount of toppings they put on my bowl. I want light rice and heavy on the crab salad and seaweed salad. We can notate it when we order using the iPad (which took me 4 visits to figure it out) and letting the staff know, but I still think they are not putting the proportions that I want especially when it comes to rice. Once you pay for your order, you will get a number and they will prepare for your food. The wait is within 5-10 minutes so it is not that bad. The staff weren't as friendly compared to all the other poke places in the area. I think they only talk to me when they tell me that my food is ready. As for the differences, this location is probably the most generous when it comes to their portions. This is why this location stands out among all the other Domoishi. This is also the reason why I am giving them 4 stars. They do not have that much toppings compared to Poketastic (which is my favorite poke place), but they're toppings are good too. I also tried their mango smoothie, but there's something about it that i can't pinpoint that I am not a fan of. I think I liked the other locations' mango smoothie more. This is the only Domoishi location, where I tried their ramen. I was impressed with the presentation. The ramen bowl is separated into 2. The lower portion is the broth and the top are the toppings. While the flavor and the broth are delicious. While making it spicy is an extra charge, I love how spicy my ramen tastes, but maybe next time, I will ask if they can make it spicier (once I figure out how to notate in the iPad). I am not impressed that the noodles looked like they are instant noodles and are not fresh. They look like they were fresh from the package. Overall, this Domoishi is probably the best Domoishi among all the Domoishis. Since all the other poke and ramen restaurants are 30 minutes away from me (if I opt out on tolls) , I will be a regular in this location especially if I don't want to drive too far. Hopefully, they will add more veggies on their poke so I won't have to add those when I get home. read more

I'm so tired of so many companies not able to get a delivery order right. I did not order 6 wings, I ordered 12. You scored a 50 out of 100, that's not doing very well. You definitely didn't pass. Most deliveries are missing something from various restaurants, whether it's doordash or Ubereats... you may need to look into your delivery service, and how much do they cost you repeat business. The good news is, this is a business I'll never purchase from again. Might want to look into those delivery methods. It seems to happen to me a lot. Or, you thought 6=12. I finally got around to trying out Domoishi after resolving that the location in Harborview is never going to open. We tried out a poke bowl, takoyaki, and a classic boba milk tea. The poke bowl was surprisingly filling for 2 people. We opted for 3 scoops of protein and we were stuffed after finishing it. There were plenty of topping options and our bowl was packed all the way to the lid. The takoyaki was very flavorful and delicious and we had no complaints about it. The milk tea was good and I didn't mind the sweetness of the honey boba. It is very easy to order at the kiosk inside and our order was packed up nicely to go. Inside, the dining area looked very clean. Overall, I was happy with my experience here. There aren't very many options for boba tea on this side of the tunnel and I finally found a place to get some without driving through a tunnel (or having a drink made with powder). We see ourselves returning here to fufill our boba tea and poke bowl cravings without a long drive. I'd love to come back and try some of the other items on the menu too. read more

I can be a snob when it comes to dining. I cringe when I see the words "fast casual." And actively avoid a menu with an identity crisis--Japanese Ramen, Korean Wings, Taiwanese (or, as I ordered, Thai with Boba) Tea, Hawaiian Poke... what is it you do here?! But Domoishi does it all, and very very well at that. Ultra-customizable Poke bowls with super fresh ingredients. If your's is not to your liking, that's your own fault. (I almost disliked that the sauces were on it when I ordered take out, but somehow it was still not soggy. But I do think it might be even better on the side.)
