This basic ramen place does a great takeout/door dash. However, we ate in and it was just a weird vibe. Almost like you were in the living room of someone who stores too much stuff. I've been to a handful of Domoishi locations and this one in particular (which was my first time here), I was not too impressed. It was not busy at all on the early weekday evening. We were not greeted upon walking in. There were two staff members working, although one was next to a computer she did not offer to take my order which I went ahead and proceeded to browse on the self-order kiosk. I'm not sure if that's the standard for this location and immediately expected of customers, but I've usually had my order taken by someone at other locations. I did eventually ask if she could take my order as she was standing there. I thought about getting food, but only ended up ordering a Matcha Berry Latte with no boba and light ice. Presentation was nice and it was a delicious and refreshing drink. Not overly sweet. The cleanliness can use a bit of work. Trash can was overfilled. When a group had left after eating, no one came to wipe down the table during my time there although it was not busy. Although I have 3 stars, this doesn't deter me away from this location as I like to think that I came on an off day and am willing to try again. read more

Stopped and ate here because I was nearby for a school project. They have a lot of options, sushi, poke, ramen, wings, bubble tea. I tried the spring rolls, shrimp shumai and the wings. You order yourself of an ipad. After I ordered, I sat. The restaurant was kind of cluttered with boxes stacked all around. I then tried to use the bathroom. There was no soap at all. Not even an empty canister. I alerted the employee who'd just been in there, which means that she'd washed her hands with just water and returned to work with no intentions of refilling it and/or washing her hands again ): If my order wasn't already being made by the other employee, I'd have probably just left. I am not a fan. Food was mediocre. Service was good and staff is knowledgeable but the food is seriously not good.

Incredibly disappointed. For the price and the description of "spicy" my dish was about as spicy as mayonnaise. The chicken tastes exactly like okay Chinese take out. Is to Asian food what McDonalds is to Cheeseburgers. Mass produced slop from the pig trough... and that's as nice as I can say it. I lack the eloquence to further describe my experience. I had the Gyudon beef rice bowl. This is the worst rice bowl I've ever had. The beef is so low quality you're basically eating stringy fat. The bowl is basically 7/8s rice and 1/8 toppings so even if the flavor was good it still wouldn't be worth the price at $17 read more

I come to this location a lot. The Thai tea with Boba drink comes with Boba. I paid extra to have another topping put in my drink. The cashier argued with me that if I add something to the drink I have to then pay for what already is supposed to come in the drink. I asked to speak with someone else since she wasn't going to help me figure it out without attitude, and I guess the "manager" said go ahead and make it. Nice place to go to for bubble tea vs. driving to Richmond or Northern Virginia. All drinks come in one size so starting price is at least $5.50. They have a variety of toppings like fruit poppers, tapioca, jellies, etc. I like how they make their tapioca pearls (boba); it's not dense like it has been sitting out for a long time. They're pretty good with having fresh tapioca pearls. It's also not too sweet, but I still reduce my sweetness in my drinks. If you come, order ahead of time if you can because they can get busy, especially during dinner time with only two people(?) working. I had a great experience at Domoishi . The outside of the building looks like the inside would be huge. The inside wasrather big and clean. They only had one person working in the afternoon, but she was extremely efficient and she took care of a few of us patrons in a nice amount of time. I ordered spicy Korean chicken wings and a poke bowl. The chicken was crunchy and the spices were excellent. The poke bowl was the highlight. Everything tasted fresh and the sauce was magnificent. A fairly decent boba shop. There isn't a wide selection of boba tea spots outside Carytown, so this did the trick!

A hidden gem in North Chesterfield. My coworkers and I were craving poke one day and this place showed up as selling it. I ordered the 2 protein bowl with salmon and tuna, sushi rice, edamame, kani salad, mango, and seaweed. They gave me a decent amount of fish to rice ratio and didn't skimp on the fish like most poke places do. I also tried their ramen on a separate occasion and they were able to conveniently separate the noodles from the toppings and the bowl in the to go box so that all you had to do was dump it all together and dump in the soup. Which, their ramen was decent and definitely didn't taste like instant ramen. I would recommend if you're in the area and craving poke or ramen. I will definitely be back to try their bubble tea. read more

YUM! We ordered the chicken wings, half original and half spicy... definitely should have gotten them all spicy. They were SO good and definitely better than the original, which were also good. I also got ramen with pork broth and tofu! Tofu can be difficult to execute, and especially doesn't turn out good when it isn't fully drained of moisture and tends to turn out soggy. But their tofu and the entire ramen dish turned out wonderful! My boyfriend also loves their Boba Tea! We both love DOMOISHI and their food and would definitely order from them again! read more

It's hard to know what to get without knowing anything about the options...poke bowl sushi rice? Poke bowl sauces? Ramen fish cake? We had a hard time and the ordering process provided little clarity of what the heck everything actually was! So clearly we wer guessing. Onto the orders! Wife ordered a milk tea which she liked but never had it before. Wings she also really liked (but not nearly as good as other places we've been to like Bonchon just up the street). I really likes my poke bowl (pick 2) but was expecting it to be hot and I guess it isn't? Still good. Had sushi rice at the bottom, several random things like cucumber, green onion, edamame, seaweed and I can't even remember because I just like most asian fusion stuff. Ordered shrimp (cooked) and spicy tuna (which is raw so you know if that's not your thing stick to the chicken, shrimp or tofu) which all mixed together was just delish! Quite filling I might add. You can certainly add all sorts of extras to kick up the cost but seriously why? For the sauce I went inside and asked for recommendation and was told the poke lite is popular so I tried it; can't tell if it was good or not as it was not noticeable. I would try something different next time as I like strong flavors. Onto the ramen soup! My wife got chicken and she expected it I don't know served differently; it was like slender long strips that I'm used to seeing blackened and with a fettuccine alfredo or something. Included egg which she didn't particularly enjoy as well as fish cakes (which she specifically requested and oddly paid extra to not have but still got) - not happy about that. The ramen pasta itself and toppings stay on top of a lid with the broth underneath. She really enjoyed the broth bit everything together not as much. I'm sure with the right toppings and combination it would have been better. Should note of course you cannot eat indoors and no seating outside, just place your order and pickup. read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel and walking my dogs. When I discovered this restaurant . I was looking through the glass door to possibly order in the near future as I will be stYing at this hotel for a few months . A girl behind the counter came over and rudely told me they don't allow dogs inside . DUH!!!!! I was trying to figure out the name of the place and read the menu since it was sort of empty I wondered if it was any good . Also I would go back to my hotel room and order and have it delivered . My husband took her food and my son's order back to Domoishi for a full refund but was told they'd only refund my daughters order.
