From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Christie is the definition of a true professional.  She runs your wedding day like a well-oiled machine. Everything stays organized, on schedule, and incredibly efficient, allowing you to make the most of every moment without ever feeling rushed. You can immediately tell she's photographed hundreds of weddings, and that level of expertise is absolutely priceless when it comes to capturing some of the most important moments of your life. You'll quickly realize that you need to not only choose someone whose photos you love, but also someone you can trust to keep everything on track and never miss a moment. There are a lot of complicated logistics involved in getting all of the great photos, and you want someone who has done it hundreds of times and knows exactly how to organize people and keep everything moving. That is Christie Pham. One of my favorite things about working with Christie is that she gives you the best of both worlds. She beautifully documents the genuine, candid moments of your day while also knowing exactly how to pose you so you look your absolute best in your portraits. She knew exactly how to direct us while still making everything feel natural. I trusted her, and it put my general anxiety about the day at ease. The artistry in her work is incredible. She captured not only the stunning scenery, but also the emotion of the day, both ours and our guests'. Looking through our gallery truly feels like reliving the entire wedding.  Christie is also wonderful to collaborate with throughout the planning process. She takes your requests seriously, is honest about what is and isn't possible, and uses her experience to help you get the best final result. She and her husband work seamlessly together, each carrying multiple cameras so they never miss a moment. We were amazed at how many perspectives they captured throughout the day, and yet they somehow blended into the background whenever they needed to. Their creative eye, artistic style, and thoughtfulness helped commemorate some of the most special moments in our relationship. Truly, their work speaks for itself. In addition to their artistic gifts, they are incredibly warm and genuinely easy to work with. I do not say this lightly when I say they have so much aloha--love, compassion, and generosity--and you can feel it in every interaction you have with them. I distinctly remember meeting them over Zoom while my wife and I were interviewing prospective photographers. Their wedding portfolio was obviously stunning, but it was their energy, warmth, and aloha that stood out most. In fact, they made such an impression that we chose our wedding date around their availability because we couldn't imagine anyone else capturing our special day. Looking back on both our engagement shoot and wedding day, Christie and Matt truly felt heaven-sent. As a husband-and-wife team, they worked together seamlessly, always seeming to know exactly what the other needed. Whether it was positioning us, fixing a stray hair or adjusting a collar, or managing the equipment, they made everything feel effortless--at least from our perspective. I think this is important to mention because my wife and I don't consider ourselves particularly photogenic or naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Christie and Matt's expertise immediately put us at ease, helping us relax and enjoy every moment. Before getting married, I never realized just how integral a photographer is to the wedding day or how much time you'll actually spend with them. Of course, they play an essential role in documenting your wedding, but in many cases you will spend more time with your photographers than with many of your own guests. Thankfully, spending the day with Christie and Matt felt like spending it with family. Their aloha was infectious and, honestly, exactly what we needed throughout our 10+ hour wedding day. I also have to mention how incredibly well they worked with our other vendors. The synergy among everyone was obvious, and we were fortunate to be the beneficiaries of it. While browsing on the hotel website I saw they offer photography sessions on the property with Pacific Dream Photography. I was very intrigued so I decided to reach out via email to get details and see if there was availability on the day we got married. I received a response very quickly and decided to book. The booking process was simple and efficient, so I was already impressed. Fast forward to wedding day! We decided to do a sunset photoshoot which was scheduled for 6 PM. We met our photographer, Aman, at the Pacific Dream Photography desk at the lower lobby. My husband and I both expressed to him that we weren't too comfortable in front of the camera. He led the way and gave us directions on what to do which was so nice! We got to take pictures around multiple locations of the hotel including the gazebo, lawn, beach, golf course, etc. We chatted with Aman throughout and got to learn a little about him which helped us to feel even more comfortable with him. Before we knew it our session was over and it really felt like time flew by. When we got back to the lower lobby, we scheduled an appointment with Aman to meet him the following morning to review the photos and go over the different package options. The next morning we showed up at our designated time and Aman was ready and waiting for us. We went over the different packages and decided on one that came with a certain amount of photos, a video slideshow, and print credit. After viewing all the photos, he helped us to eliminate some and compare similar ones so that we could get down to the amount that was included in our package. I am so happy we decided to do the photo session. Although we didn't have a typical wedding, it's so nice to have both the photos and slideshow to look back on and remember our special day.
