I love this family restaurant a really good food and the people are really nice and service is really good today. I'm posting updated menus.

Cheese enchilada, beef fajitas, green chile, beans and flautas

I'm so happy I gave this place a second chance, it seems to be under new management/owners. Everything I mean everything was GREAT. The customer service was excellent (I believe the owner was our waiter), the food was delicious and hot, and the place was clean! We tried the buffet, I think it was $19.?? I don't remember the right amount. My favorite dish was the green chile meat, but everything was soo good . My sister is a bit picky and she loved the flautas, chicken fajitas, cheese enchilada and beans and rice. The salad was fresh and crunchy. For dessert they had fruit jam filled churros! Fresh fruit slices, jello and I believe yam or sweet potato slices and flan cups.

My husband's family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and for the past 4 years I've also gotten a chance to enjoy the food from this restaurant. There is a brunch buffet here every Sunday which is nice because I get as much menudo or pozole amongst other yummy dishes! Staff and Owner are always very attentive and provide amazing customer service!

Empty trays. Sopas and noplas with chicken.

We went for the highly publicized Sunday brunch. Granted at a price point of under 20 dollars we weren't expecting the moon, but many of buffet trays were empty for an extended amount of time. The food was very slow to roll out of the kitchen and we found ourselves waiting for food. Another big problem, there's something going on with their plumbing. The area near the restrooms had a horrible sewer smell. With that said, when the food did come out it was good! And, the staff were extremely friendly. But the kitchen needed to pick up the pace. The photos were taken on one pass of the buffet table, too many empty trays.....

Nasty! Just nasty! The rice taste like white rice with a hint of red color. They use to have the best food. Green sauce was even worse.

Friendly and attentive, but... The bad. Expensive and very small portions for price, but they are striving for that upscale feel. Quality over quantity which is fine, just don't expect huge portions. I was fine with my portion, others in my party were not. The reason my family will probably never return is as follows and I ate their last Monday and I'm still very upset about it and feel cheated. Waiter asked me several times about trying a new drink on menue. I declined twice as my husband and son each ordered a flight. The third time he brought it up my husband said bring her one, she likes mimosas. . Yes, I should of asked a price right then. It was a champagne drink with strawberry puree. I'm thinking $15 bucks max. It was ok. Nothing special honestly. My son ordered himself and my husband two house shots at end of meal. Waiter tried twice to get an upgrade. They declined. Long story short $40 for my 1 drink and almost $35 for 2 cheap jimador shots. Our bill for 4 was $320 before gratuity. I've never spent that on lunch, even in SD where I live. I feel they push the expensive alcohol on you and purposely do not give prices, so BEWARE! Ask prices! Last, it was a Monday and we were given a brunch menue and then also given a regular dinner menue. Thought that was odd for a non weekend and way too many selections. Overwhelming. I hope it does well, but I don't think it's the right demographic honestly and doubt it will last a year. I hope the waiters are more honest with customers about alcohol prices, because it was really great tasting food and a beautiful place

The restaurant is warm, cozy, and full of charm, with a beautiful country-style atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. I ordered the salmon with pesto sauce, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and absolutely delicious. It came with a fresh green salad topped with sunflower seeds, flavorful beans, and fresh guacamole. Every part of the meal was excellent. My son loved his burrito, and everyone at our table was happy with what they ordered. We finished with the flan, which was one of the best I've had--smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. Even the coffee was served in a beautiful traditional Mexican ceramic cup, which made the experience feel even more special. You can truly feel the love and care that goes into both the food and the hospitality here. If you're driving between Orange County and Las Vegas, this restaurant is absolutely worth the stop. Paulina's has consistently delivered incredible food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that truly feels like home. The food is authentic, fresh, and made with so much care. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into everything that comes out of the kitchen. Whether we're stopping in for a quick meal or celebrating a special occasion, the quality is always exceptional. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the people. The employees are genuinely kind, welcoming, and hardworking. They remember familiar faces, treat everyone like family, and make every visit feel special.
