Food wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. Had beef fajitas with rice and beans. Rice was a little bland, beans were good. Now meat, yah I wouldn't order this again. It was brunch time so not busy but service wasn't the greatest either. But it does seem like regulars go there often. Husband had the queso fundido. Was visiting my mom and she said to come eat here because she had been here once before. We had breakfast today and I was surprised. Chips were ok nothing special the salsa was good not too spicy. I had eggs and chorizo. It was actually pretty good, not greasy or overwhelming in spices, could of used a bit more on portion for price they charge but overall it was good. The chilaquiles were good too, not spicy. Service was good, especially since we were the only ones there lol. Will come back again next time. read more

Ate here last night for the first time for their Monday Night Buffet and it took me by surprise. It's a small little restaurant, but it was seriously so delicious! I especially liked their chicharones verde. What made the experience even better was the service. Everyone was so nice. I will definitely come back. I have been eating Garcia's Mexican food since I was a kid in Phelan. I remember this place as De Garcia's well before it reopened. But there is just something about their food that is just good. I've never had a bad experience in all the years I've followed these folks's cooking. Good Mexican food for the price, I recommend burrito's. read more

Awesome quality service. Waiters super friendly and very consistent. I got street tacos and thee hubby got a wet burrito. Overall we gave it a 4 because the food was good but it wasn't unbelievably amazing as I was expecting. I would definitely come back but try something different. A lot of the meals were pretty pricey for a small restaurant. A lot of meals were $12-$14. However I think the amount of food they actually give you makes it an alright deal. The buffet was very disappointing. Majority of the food was gone. We went at 7 and it's not over til 9. Asked the waiter if they were bringing more out and he said yes but they did not. Taco shells but no meat, went up 3x looking for the carnitas and they never put more out. Then whatever food they did have was barely warm. The waiter asked how everything was and i told him and he walked alway like he could careless. So why ask! The dessert was churros that we're hard as a rock. We won't be going back. This restaurant really surprised me with quality of their food and service. The waiter was friendly and very attentive to our party of 6. One of my most critical areas of service from a server is allowing my glass to go empty.. Our severs continually made sure they came by and kept our glasses FULL!!! This is our FAVORITE Mexican restaurant! The salsa is delicious (bad salsa is a deal-breaker for me). We come here about once a week, and they are very friendly. They seat us right away and know our drink order. Great flavor in all the food I have tried, but my favorite is still the cheese enchiladas. Great buffet too on Sundays and Monday nights.
