Had to get towed from Sprain pkwy on Labor Day and had no choice but to go there. I was lucky. Talked to Fred the mechanic the next day, he diagnosed and shopped for the part. Then the next day (Wednesday) Don gave me a detailed quote including part+labor+tax: 499. I got the car back on Friday. Fred opened the hood and explained the repair to me. Claims management called him to boot that car, but cannot tell who or when. Does not care it's in the assigned parking space. Their procedures violate the local Yonkers code as well, see photos. My car was making a noise so I decided to go to the mechanics at Don Glo since my son gets his car serviced there. Not only did they fix my car, they told me about things that needed to be done immediately AND didn't charge me a lot of money to fix. The men there are very nice, they answered all my questions and didn't take advantage of me price wise. I would definitely recommend them and will be taking my car there going forward. read more

Do not bring your car to this shop. These guys towed my son's car on January 29th and held my car for 3 weeks and were not able to fix his car. Every time he called, he got the same response. I called and spoke to Fred who told me that the car was not able to start and he recommended a shop in Bronxville and to give Brian a call which my son did. They held the car for about another 3 weeks! To make a long story short, car was not repaired. My son sold the car and took a $3k loss. Issues with the computer Brian said. My son got two ez pass tickets in the mail and after reviewing them, we notice that the tickets for non-payment were for 2/15/2024 and 2/16! These guys took my son's car for a joyride at 11pm at night going to NJ and back at 3am in the morning! They lied about the car! They took his car for a ride without paying the tolls! Since moving to Yonkers, we've called on Don-Glo for many a bailout. They're located right down the street from my residence and we've never had a problem getting their assistance. They are a AAA participant and very reliable. They have always arrived, on scene, ready to lend a helping hand with a jump, tow and any other need necessary to make it to work on time. Recently, my car was out of wack and we needed to cart it off to my mechanic ASAP. I was early shift so hubby called AAA and waited for a driver from Don-Glo to come and tow my car to Dobbs Ferry. They came within fifteen minutes, hooked up the car and hubby followed the driver to my mechanic and headed off to work. He was very impressed with the professionalism of the driver and was thankful that the gentleman worked so diligently to get my car up North and my hubby to work on time. Auto Service Sucks - They are lazy. Were dispatched out by my insurance - car broke down on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains (which btw is located in Westchester County). On a recent Saturday, I was with my 89-year-old mother driving around the neighborhood where she AND I grew up in southwest Yonkers. During our nostalgia tour, I punctured my tire. I called AAA and within 30 minutes Jason and Selena came to my rescue. Jason showed up first. He was so nice, helpful and completely professional. He looked at the tire and said he could repair it right there with a plug; fifteen minutes later I was on my way. During the time the tire was re-inflated, Selena showed up to assist. They took my car apart and it never went back together, also they leaned old part from different cars on mine scratching and denting all over. This evening my mother got in to an accident in her Cadillac. I called Cadillac Roadside Assistance and they called Don Glo for towing assistance. After waiting for 1 hour 15 minutes I saw a Don Glo truck drive right by my car and it turned around and went the other way. I then called Cadilliac Roadside assistance back and was put on hold because they were trying to get in touch with Don Glo. My SUV's fuel pump died on me yesterday (May 19, 2018) I called AAA and they sent a tow truck with a flatbed from Don Glo. I was totally impressed. The driver was very polite, professional, and very safety conscious of how he did his work. The truck was VERY clean inside and out. As I watched him do his work I felt more at ease and had peace of mind and my worries went away. He towed my vehicle to my mechanic's shop with no problem at all. He is very young. In fact, younger than my son. Very very professional like if he was doing this job for years. I just want to say thank you for your help.
