Life savers! On my way home to Westchester from Brooklyn, i hit a huge/deep pot hole on the ramp to the Bruckner Expressway. I knew i had a flat and was looking for a place to find a spot away from traffic and I was able to exit to the Bruckner Plaza. Usually I can change a spare tire by myself no problem (this wasn't my 1st rodeo). However, for some reason the flat tire wouldn't come off, and it was freezing. I eventually resorted calling my automobile's roadside assistance. I provided them my location and the problem. They indicated that they contacted Hope Roadside, and that the ETA was approximately 45 minutes. This was like around midnight too, and it was freaking brick outside. They came on time as estimated. The guy helped me out. At first he tried to pull off the tire too, but he indicated that it's stuck on pretty good (probably frozen). He proceeded to pull out a sledge hammer and knocked the tire off. Luckily the hub wasn't damaged from the sledgehammer. When putting on the spare, the mechanic noticed that one of my lug nuts was shredded, so it wouldn't screw on correctly. He indicated that he can only screw on 4, which should be enough, but I need to eventually get it checked out. The guy that helped me understood that it was late at night and it was freezing, so he came and got the job done as quickly as possible. I definitely appreciated the help. He provided recommendations to drive only 40-50 MPH since i am using a donut with only 4 nuts bolted on. The guy was very helpful. 2 thumbs up! read more

My mom and I got stuck with a flat tire yesterday on a cold and rainy night. I called Hope Roadside seeing that they were open 24/7 and they have a 5 star rating on here. DISAPPOINTING! They told me that if I had a spare they'd be able to help me, I told them I don't and whoever picked up the call did a chuckle and said they couldn't do anything. I asked if they can put a plug and the guy seemed amused, frustrated and confused all at once. Finally he said "alright, I'll call you back" & nothing. No call back. If you can't do anything for me, that's okay, but don't tell me you'll call me back and leave me hanging in the middle of nowhere. read more

I contacted Hope Roadside after my boyfriend, and I realized we had a flat tire. He tried to change the tire himself but the lug-knots were super tight and he couldn't get them loose. Not to mention I really wasn't a big help either. I was trying but let's face it i had no idea what I was doing or suppose to do. That's when we decided to look for some help. these guys were first on yelp when we searched for 24 hour roadside assistance. And I'm glad they were! We gave them our exact location and They told us they would be there in 15 minutes, which I believe they got there in 10 minutes. And then only took 10-15 minutes to change out the tire! Quick and efficient and very professional. Hopefully we won't need road side assistance for a while or ever do that matter, but if and when I do I know who I'm calling. I contacted the Roadside Assistance service provided by my dealership who sent this company. I received a text immediately letting me know the service has been placed and someone would arrive in 30-40 minute. Within 20 minutes, they called to inform me they were 10 minutes away. As soon as they arrived they addressed the issue (very minor) and problem solved. The guys that came were very nice and professional. This service was provided to me via my insurance company so I really didn't have a choice in who came to jump start my vehicle. I called for a jump start at 5:45 am and I'm glad I wasn't in a rush, as it took an hour for the person to show up after a promised wait time of 25 minutes. When someone's car is disabled, a timely response is what makes or breaks your business. I would've been satisfied if I was given a more conservative wait time and the tech shows up faster than expected. And also, the address listed on the side of the truck is 1.6 miles/5 minutes away from where my car was disabled. Granted, the tech could've been coming from anywhere but these are things that I notice. read more

We were referred to this company by OnStar in my vehicle. My car was parked in our indoor garage. The car would not start and the key got stuck in the ignition.
