The scent of smoking meat was evident and the echoes of a metal spatula tapping against the flat grill drew my eyes to the small kitchen where a Cuban Philly sandwich was being cooked (see pic). They brewed me a Cuban colada presented in a common styro cup without a logo, lacking a simple and cheap detail. The coffee provided me a quick jolt of pleasure. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and basic with a square cut distressed style mosaic wall mirror above the sink. Will try the Cuban Philly and of course another colada at their other location on West Atlantic Blvd.
