We kept telling the staff to give our compliments to the chef. We had a few drinks, we had a really great long meal, and as we were packing up, more people were flowing in. It has its own entrance from the parking lot. Right when you walk in, it feels very nice and upscale. My husband and I came for a happy hour experience, and tried just about everything. All of it was incredible! The guac was served with a mixture of plantain chips and tortilla chips, which I loved. The corn empanadas were surprisingly a little spicy, but delicious. The mac and cheese came in a skillet with tajin breadcrumbs, and was super creamy and delicious. The elote was probably my favorite. You can't beat truffle! I also especially loved the yuca that came with the beef. The drinks were super strong. After about a drink and a half (the hibiscus margarita and the Mexican mojito), I found myself needing to probably cut myself off. We sat at the bar, and the server who helped us was really nice. People always say "good food takes time," and sure, that's understandable when a restaurant is busy. But this place wasn't even halfway full.
