Saw good ratings on Google so we tried. I had steak fajitas and it was not seasoned enough and the steaks were tough. Chips and cheese dip were good but Salsa was just canned tomato with a few onions and jalapeños. Very disappointed. It's a reasonable price but this is a place for just local people who don't really care much for food to meet their Mexican cravings. There are better places. This place is not clean; the placemats are a white sheet of copy paper, the margaritas were served in plastic glasses & there was at least 1 (that I saw) plastic corrugated sheet being used as a makeshift wall between booths. It boasts your typical Mexican restaurant theme and decor. We were quickly seated, served, and gone. They provide a small bowl of cheese dip and some salsa with chips; so any amount of free queso is fantastic. The food had tons of flavor, which most Mexican restaurants seem to lack these days. The biggest downfall is location. The traffic can make it difficult getting into and out of the parking lot: it also doesn't help that there is construction currently going on. The restaurant shorted us a meal when we ordered takeout. When we called them about the missing food, they at first said they'd provided everything we ordered. Then, upon being pressed, it changed to they actually removed the food from our order, for what I can only assume was no actual reason, because they certainly didn't provide one. The only upside is they didn't charge us for the food we didn't get, but at least then they might have felt the need to actually give us our entire order instead of leaving us to split three meals between four people. Las Margs is the Maryville staple if you're looking for Mexican food. The food is good, but nothing notably special. Be aware of going on a weekend night where it does get busy so the service feels almost rushed. And the food reflects that service too. The restaurant itself is cutesy decorated and it is clean so that is a plus. I would recommend if you're in the area, but you don't have to go out of your way to try it. read more

Ordered the shrimp tacos, was given 3 shrimps with nothing else with my tacos. There was no lettuce, rice, or guacamole in my order, which was listed as apart of the order. They sent me out without chips and I had to go back in to get them. Very frustrating when you have to wait past your order time and end up with a subpar order. Guys I wish I took a picture of the quesadilla...it wasn't even cooked. The cheese barely melted. I was able to pull the tortilla back and show the server and he looked at me annoyed. We also overheard the table next to us say it's the worst quesadilla they've ever had. Other party had tacos that he refused to finish. To top it all off, the server then provided us with terrible service as if we did something wrong. This is NOT Mexican food. It's trash. Only come here for what's in their name... Any Mexican restaurant that includes cheese dip with chips and salsa, automatically gets an above average review. We've been to this place over 100 times and there are a few reasons why. The staff has stayed pretty much consistent and they are AWESOME! We always ask for Israel's section but he's rarely with an open table. Expect fast service, good food, and a great time! I have been to this location more times than I can count. It's one of the few staples in Maryville that hasn't changed in the past 20 years. Their low employee turnover rate adds to the charm of small town restaurant. They're top tier of surrounding Mexican restaurants. Three glorious simple words. Complimentary cheese dip. Food is of similar quality but you don't get cheated on portions like some other places. The only downside, which is becoming a problem with most places in the town is parking. They have plenty of it, don't get me wrong! Getting in and out with the traffic is terrible. I prefer going outside of their rushes so I can avoid it. If you don't, be prepared to wait for parking because dinner time is generally PACKED. For good reason. Enjoy! read more

We ordered off the vegetarian menu and it was really bad. I don't often leave reviews, but I feel others who are looking to eat here should be aware. The vegetarian FAJITAS were literally steamed vegetables - steamed not grilled. They added 2-3 bell peppers and onions but 80% of it was steamed. Not to mention a bulk of those vegetables were broccoli and cauliflower stems. I also found a piece of chicken. My husband got the ACV Vegetarian. Again, steamed vegetables smothered in cheese to disguise it. Description did not match the meal. They do serve complimentary salsa and queso which was nice. Service was good even though they were very busy. This was our second time giving Las Margaritas a try and both experiences were the same. I'm afraid we won't be back here. read more

Alright, so I've been a resident of the Phoenix area for almost 18 years now. I've grown accustomed to great Mexican food as we have it available in abundance here. During a trip out to Knoxville last week looking at a potential move/reloaction, we were staying in the Maryville area. Based on a recommendation from our Airbnb host, we decided to give Las Margaritas a try. This place KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Hands down, this could easily rival some of our "authentic" Mexican restaurants here in the Valley of the Sun. I am sorely missing their fresh hot chips and queso dip. I had chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. Fantastic flavor, hot and fresh. Of course, it had to be complimented with a jumbo size Patron Margarita, which just capped everything off. If you are a resident nearby looking for Mexican and have not tried this place yet, you really have a hidden gem there and need to give them a go. If you are just passing through visiting and craving a great meal, be sure to put this place on your list. Im from CA (i know i suck) so i know mexican food better than anyone here in Maryville. This is not the place. Ill tell you what this place is good for; if you want to get drunk during the day their drinks are overpoured so you get alot of alcohol for your money. Also the food is very salty over salted. So when you're drunk and your senses are dulled it will taste amazing. But only if youre drunk. The service is very fast though and you get alot of free chips, salsa, bean dip, and queso. But it tastes like sysco queso in the bag. I wouldnt be surprised if their purveyor was sysco foods. So i got the burrito, relleno, tostada combo for 9.49. Burrito was a tortilla with over salted grey ground beef rolled into it with a red sauce on top, relleno was definitely made before hand and reheated, and tostada was a stale crunchy tortilla with the same gross ground beef and a tomato BUTT (literally where the stem comes out was still on it) on top. The rice was good and the beans were flat. Didnt taste any lard in the beans so thumbs down. Nothing tasted good except for rice. Like i said, had i been drunk, this meal probably would have been good. But i wasnt. Go to Los Amigos if you want an authentic taste and actually good food that you dont have to be un borracho to enjoy. Edit: for all the "gringos" that want a spicier salsa, you need to ask for the "salsa muy picosa" they dont give it to just anybody. Need to ask for it. read more

Service was excellent but the food was a 7/10. The cheese dip was thick and really good. Guacamole did not have lime or seasoning so it was very bland. The shrimp fajitas were pretty good but I have had better at Los Amigos. The homemade hot sauce is not hot but very flavorful and it was good even though it was not spicy at all. We've been here twice now and love it! The other day we ordered the Combination Fajitas for Two. We were served a huge sizzling skillet of shrimp, chicken and beef with a generous amount of onions, peppers and tomato. It's important for us to have a lot of veggies included in this dish and they did not disappoint. They have the most delicious beans and rice too. We were each served our own plate of those with a small pile of lettuce which I love with my beans. Couldn't be happier that we discovered this place being from Southern California. The service is phenomenal Our server moved so fast I never noticed my tea was ever low I was very impressed with atmosphere. The food was different and delicious but it contained enhancers like msg which I am now suffering the side effects of.
