This has helped me to recover stronger. What a difference it has made in my balance and having looking forward to having "life" again. I am not there yet, but I am hopeful. I am at 99%. You wonder why not stop. Because the 1% can cause me to tip - fall over - lose balance quickly w/o warning. I have been dealing with this since November 2024. I went to a neurologist and then another. Including getting therapy with another facility - but it was more of a stretch exercise...however, it didn't resolve my situation and its strength. Basically, Fysical at other location did their best they felt and there wasn't much more to do. Last therapy was in 2025 and I was hovering 85-90% in control of my balance. If I get these episodes, it is out of nowhere, and I will lean towards falling. The therapists there were all kind...but not invested into my quality of life...I got really disillusioned...exercises were good to sustain, but that is it. However, I didn't give up, and now I feel much more confident and look forward to 100% and being Alive!

Wow. Ron Gallagher at Maximum Velocity is the secret "health" sauce more people need to know about!…read moreI've been a nurse for over 20 years, and I have a PhD in Nursing, so I love evidence-based practices. But let's be real--no doctor or therapist has all the answers. Their knowledge is limited by their training, research, and hands-on experience. I should've gone to Ron sooner. I had four very active friends get "fixed" by him after being told to just rest by multiple physicians--lower back pain, slipped discs, bone spurs (osteophytes), plantar fasciitis--you name it. But because he doesn't take insurance, I hesitated. Big mistake. I love running and have been doing lifting group classes for years. Over the last five years, I've dealt with tenosynovitis in my foot, lateral hip pain (trochanteric bursitis), and lower back pain. I chalked it all up to aging and having four kids. I also had frequent urination after having my kids, but I figured that was just part of life after childbirth. Wrong. When I saw Ron, he educated me--he told me there are four levels of training to get the maximum health effect, and most people skip levels without building a proper foundation. That was me. My weak pelvic floor was a major contributor to my hip and lower back pain, and I had no idea. Ron explained that there's little to no treatment for women who've had episiotomies, and a lot of my issues stemmed from not strengthening my pelvic floor properly. What?! Then January hit. I went back to the gym after a month off, had a back day in class, and my lower back killed me afterward. I saw a couple of healthcare providers and was diagnosed with an SI sprain. Again, I was told to rest. I did. After a month, I tried Pilates and yoga. Every time I stretched, it made things worse. Another month passed, and I realized--here we go again, another five months to recover. I was miserable. Sleeping, standing, even walking was a struggle. Finally, I caved and saw Ron. And wow. He spent an hour assessing me, asking about my history, and getting to the root of my problem. I was blown away by how much he knew. Turns out, I kept stretching a weak back when what I really needed was to strengthen it. The exercises he gave me to rebuild my pelvic floor first (before even touching my back and hips) made ALL the difference. Not only does my body feel stronger, but my frequent urination has improved so quickly. Ron explained everything, drew pictures, and helped me understand exactly what was going on with my body. And as a nurse educator, I eat that stuff up. Don't just tell me what to do--teach me the why. Ron promised I'd be back in the gym and running in three weeks. I thought, no way. But here I am, week three--I've already gone on a short run, and I feel amazing. My back feels ten years younger. He also pinpointed why I kept having issues with my left hip and foot. He knows his stuff. He's confident in what he does. Honestly, he's a miracle worker--the kind that saves you from surgery and gives you years back on your body. He's worth every cent. Think about the copays for surgery or the misery of feeling like your body is just breaking down. Forget that. Go see Ron. He WILL fix you. His home exercises, including warm-ups (which, turns out, I was doing all wrong), have completely changed my recovery. I've never bounced back from an injury this fast. Oh, and he helped my friend's teenage daughter too--an elite soccer player who kept having hip issues. As soon as she started strength training with Ron, her pain disappeared. Ron will get you straight and fix you quick. If you're struggling with injuries, stop wasting time. Go see him.

Gerardo was absolutely to the point on stretching me in the most pleasing way imaginable. He is a Stretch Therapist excellente. Soon enough, before the 30 minutes session was over, I was a happy noodle. In the middle of the day I played the piano. My old true mellow sound had come back to my happiness. When I was in pain, I heard only harsh abrasive sound on my piano; and thought of ending the piano life. But no, I can keep playing the piano with Gerardo's help. In the evening, I took a mile walk without the usual pain and stiffness in my lower back and glutes. This opened my eyes on Physical Therapy, which I had previously thought light of. Gerardo is the effective knowledgeable professional. He is the great find. I am going back to him from now on. Needless to say, I have a great expectation on Dr.Cohen, who has nice reputations online. Will update.

I usually get an appointment for after work and doctor Corey has been who I have been seeing. A handful of times throughout the years I have thrown out my lower back. My lower back going out in the earlier years would only last for about a week. Then about two years ago, it was out for two weeks. This year, it was out for three weeks. Nothing seemed to be happening treatment wise. I couldn't roll over on the table. When I got off of the table, I hit the wall and was stuck there with back spasming pain for about three minutes. Doctor Corey sent me for an MRI of the lumbar area because something was definitely wrong. I do like this place mostly because of the sports therapy that is offered. For example, my lower back pain is mostly caused from my hamstring muscles being too tight and that pulls on your lower back. That Stim treatment with the giant heating pad is a game changer. I do wish that instead of ten minutes, it was more like twenty minutes. When you have extreme lower back pain, laying face down on the massage like treatment table feels relieving. This last time with the heating pad, Stim, and laying face down on the table I found myself taking a nice nap. When that ten minute timer went off and woke me up I was like, "Damn it!" I did ask if yoga was a good idea and Corey said definitely. I have been doing the yoga and found out that I am nowhere near limber. It does help quite a bit though. I have sent many people over the years to this place for treatment and have heard nothing but positive feedback.

From day one, she made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and tailored the therapy to exactly what I needed. She not only helped me recover from my injury, but also taught me ways to manage my pain and prevent future issues. Even after I was officially cleared, I chose to keep scheduling with her because of how much better she made me feel, especially with my tight back muscles. She has an incredible way of combining professionalism with genuine care, and every appointment leaves me feeling better. 10/10 for Dr. Jessie!

Both of these therapists received their advanced graduate degrees in PT at the University of Southern California. I am more than happy to say I just finished a successful course of treatment with Jeff Dietrich for advanced degenerative changes in my lumbar back, including severe spinal canal stenosis, nerve compression, disc protrusions and bulges, and multilevel lumbar facet arthropathy. I am a late-70s female, lifelong athlete and musician who has no intention of sitting around. About Jeff Dietrich: Jeff's technical expertise and advanced knowledge of spine rehabilitation are world-class. I say this because he is the 5th physical therapist I have seen in the 7 years, and the only one who was able to use multiple approaches to solve my pain issues and relearn proper body mechanics--without steroid injections or surgery. On a personal level, he is meticulously focused on the patient's needs and observant of their personal goals. Jeff is also an excellent listener and teacher with the emotional intelligence to motivate anyone willing to commit to the consistent work of physical therapy. I am very grateful that my physician, William Rosenberg, M.D., referred me to JD for rehab. Not only is the staff friendly and efficient, but now I can again participate in the physical activities that bring me joy, without the pain. Big "thanks" to all!
